Claims (20)
- 外科用の道具であり、
本体部と、
前記本体部から延びる延長部と、
前記延長部の端部に設けられる第1と第2のあご部を含み、各あご部に組織との接触面を備えたあご部のアセンブリと、
前記第1と第2のあご部の少なくとも一方を前記第1と第2のあご部の他方に対して移動することができ、前記あご部を開閉位置の間で操縦させるように前記あご部の少なくとも一方と操作可能なように接続されたあご部の作動部と、
前記あご部のアセンブリに配置された切断機構と、
前記あご部の間に保持された組織を切断するように前記切断機構の操作を可能にする切断機構の作動部と、を有し、
前記あご部のアセンブリは、前記あご部の間に保持された組織に留め具を取付けるように作動可能な留め具の取付機構を含むことを特徴とする道具。 - 前記留め具は縫糸であり、前記留め具の取付機構は前記あご部のアセンブリに設けられる縫糸の通し機構を構成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の道具。
- 前記留め具の取付機構は、前記第1のあご部から前記第2のあご部まで、縫糸のアセンブリを通すことができる縫糸の通し機構であり、
前記第1のあご部は、前記縫糸のアセンブリを通す大きさの経路を有し、
前記第2のあご部は、前記縫糸と矢のアセンブリをつかまえられる大きさと形状の表面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の道具。 - 前記縫糸の通し機構はさらに、前記第1のあご部から前記第2のあご部まで前記縫糸のアセンブリを通した後、再度、前記第1のあご部まで前記縫糸のアセンブリを戻すように通すことができることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の道具。
- 前記縫糸の通し機構は、前記切断機構から離れた、前記あご部のアセンブリ上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の道具。
- 前記切断機構は、機械的な刃のアセンブリを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の道具。
- 前記切断機構は、電磁エネルギーの放出源を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の道具。
- 前記切断機構は、高周波エネルギー、レーザーエネルギー、マイクロ波エネルギー、及びこれらの組合せからなるグループから選択されたエネルギー源を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の道具。
- 前記電磁エネルギーの離間した源と接続されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の道具。

前記切断機構を作動させて、前記靱帯を切断し、
前記留め具の取付機構を作動させて、前記留め具を前記靱帯に取付ける、各ステップを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記靱帯は、子宮仙骨靱帯、基靱帯、及び広靱帯から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記留め具を前記靱帯に取付けた後、前記留め具を子宮頸部の組織に取付けて、前記靱帯を前記子宮頸部の組織に接続するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、経膣的に又は腹腔鏡的に行われることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 子宮摘出を行うための方法であって、
請求項4に記載の外科用の道具を提供し、
靱帯の組織をつかむように、前記道具の前記あご部のアセンブリを挿入し、
前記切断機構を作動させて、前記靱帯を切断し、
前記留め具の取付機構を作動させて、前記留め具を前記靱帯に取付け、
前記留め具を子宮頸部の組織に取付ける、各ステップを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記方法は、経膣的に又は腹腔鏡的に行われることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 組織を切断するための方法であって、
請求項1に記載の外科用の道具を提供し、
第1の組織をつかむように、外科用の場所に前記あご部のアセンブリを挿入し、
前記切断機構を作動させて、前記第1の組織を切断し、
前記留め具の取付機構を作動させて、留め具を前記第1の組織に取付ける、各ステップを有することを特徴とする方法。 - さらに、前記留め具を第2の組織に取付けるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、経膣的に又は腹腔鏡的に行われることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の道具と留め具を含むことを特徴とするキット。
