Claims (52)
- 隣接する骨構造体を融合させる際に使用される移植片において、
複数の骨の部片と、
前記骨の部片を相互に接続する1つ又は複数の可撓性の細長い生体適合性のあるコネクタを含む可撓性の機構と、を備えている移植片。 - 前記骨の部片は、実質的に正角柱の形態をした骨を備えている、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記骨の部片は、実質的に立方体の形態をした骨を備えている、請求項2に記載の移植片。
- 前記可撓性の機構は、隣接する骨の部片の間を伸張し、前記骨の部片の幾つかは、前記隣接する骨の部片の間を伸張している前記可撓性の機構を折り畳むことによって、他の骨の部片の上に折り重ねられている、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 個々の前記骨の部片は、少なくとも、所定の負荷支承容量を有する皮質骨部分を備えている、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記個々の骨の部片は、網状組織骨部分を更に備えている、請求項5に記載の移植片。
- 前記個々の骨の部片は、前記可撓性の機構を通して前記骨の部片に係合させる1つ又は複数の穴を備えている、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 1つ又は複数の前記骨部片の、前記可撓性の機構に対する動きを制限するための固定機構を更に備えている、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記固定機構は、前記可撓性の機構に前記骨の部片に隣接して作られた1つ又は複数の結び目を備えている、請求項8に記載の移植片。
- 前記固定機構は、前記可撓性の機構に前記骨の部片に隣接して固定された1つ又は複数のストッパを備えている、請求項8に記載の移植片。
- 前記ストッパは、前記可撓性の機構の上にクリンプされている、請求項10に記載の移植片。
- 前記骨の部片は、隣接する相互接続された部片の間が所定の間隔となるように離して配置されている、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 比較的剛性のある相互接続された移植片を形成するため、前記骨の部片の間には、最小の間隔が設けられているか、又は全く間隔が空けられていない、請求項12に記載の移植片。
- 前記骨の部片の間に間隔を設けた結果、比較的可撓性のある相互接続された移植片となっている、請求項12に記載の移植片。
- 前記骨の部片の間に間隔を設けた結果、前記相互接続された部片を折り畳んで重ねられるようになっている、請求項12に記載の移植片。
- 前記所定の間隔は、相互接続された骨の部片の連続する対の間で実質的に同じである、請求項12に記載の移植片。
- 前記所定の間隔は、隣接する骨の部片の第1の対と、隣接する骨の部片の第2の対との間で異なっており、前記移植片の第1の部分は比較的剛性があり、前記移植片の第2の部分は比較的可撓性があるようになっている、請求項12に記載の移植片。
- 前記移植片は、前記隣接する骨の部片の第2の対で折り畳まれている、請求項17に記載の移植片。
- 前記個々の骨の部片は、所定の最小負荷支承容量より小さな容量を有しており、前記相互連結された骨の部片は、前記所定の最小負荷支承容量より大きな所定の最小負荷支承容量を達成している、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記個々の骨の部片は、一個の移植片に関わる所定の標準を満たさない所定の幾何学形状を有しており、結合された部片は、前記所定の幾何学形状を達成する、組み合わせられた移植片を形成している、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記可撓性の機構は、心膜、脱塩骨、筋膜、軟骨、腱、靱帯、皮膚、コラーゲン、エラスチン、網状質組織、腸管粘膜下組織、金属、分解吸収可能ポリマー、非分解吸収可能ポリマー、から成る群から選択された少なくとも1つの材料を備えている、1つ又は複数の可撓性の細長い生体適合性を有するコネクタを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記相互接続された骨部片は、1つ又は複数の負荷支承移植片層へと形成されている、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記1つ又は複数の層は、複数の隣接して配置された、相互接続された骨部片の紐状体で形成されており、前記隣接して配置された紐状体は、互いに相互接続されている、請求項22に記載の移植片。
- 前記隣接して配置された紐状体を相互接続する追加の可撓性の機構を更に含んでいる、請求項23に記載の移植片。
- 前記各骨部片は、少なくとも、実質的に互いに直交する第1及び第2の貫通穴を含んでおり、相互接続された骨の紐状体の前記骨の各部片は、前記第1貫通穴に通された可撓性のコネクタによって接続され、隣接して配置された、前記相互接続された骨部片の各紐状体は、前記第2貫通穴に通された可撓性のコネクタによって接続されている、請求項23に記載の移植片。
- 前記1つ又は複数の層は、螺旋状の構造に巻かれた、相互接続された骨部片の紐状体を備えている、請求項22に記載の移植片。
- 前記1つ又は複数の層は、1度又はそれ以上折り畳まれて重ねられた単一の相互接続された骨部片の紐状体を備えている、請求項22に記載の移植片。
- 層に対し実質的に垂直な層軸に沿って互いに重ねられた複数の層と、前記隣接する骨構造体から前記移植片に負荷が加えられる方向に伸張する負荷支承軸と、を更に備えており、前記層軸は前記負荷支承軸に実質的に垂直である、請求項22に記載の移植片。
- 層に対し実質的に垂直な層軸に沿って互いに重ねられた複数の層と、前記隣接する骨構造体から前記移植片に負荷が加えられる方向に伸張する負荷支承軸と、を更に備えており、前記層軸は前記負荷支承軸に実質的に平行である、請求項22に記載の移植片。
- 基板を更に備えており、前記相互接続された骨部片は、相互接続された骨部片の紐状体を形成し、前記相互接続された骨部片の紐状体は、前記基板と組み合わせられて前記移植片を形成している、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記相互接続された骨部片の紐状体は、前記基板の回りに巻き付けられている、請求項30に記載の移植片。
- 前記相互接続された骨部片の紐状体は、前記基板の回りに編まれている、請求項30に記載の移植片。
- 前記基板は、内側部分を備えており、前記相互接続された骨部片の紐状体は、前記内側部分の中に配置されている、請求項30に記載の移植片。

- 前記隣接する骨構造体から前記移植片に負荷が加えられる方向に伸張する負荷支承軸を更に備えており、前記少なくとも1つの貫通穴は、前記負荷軸に平行な縦軸を有している、請求項40に記載の移植片。
- 前記少なくとも1つの穴の中に、少なくとも1つの骨成長促進材を更に備えている、請求項40に記載の移植片。
- 前記骨成長促進材は、骨から導出した成長因子、骨形成蛋白質、ヒトの組み換え骨形態発生蛋白質、LIM脱塩蛋白質、骨ペースト、骨チップ、脱塩骨、ヒドロキシアパタイト、ホルモン、及び血小板から導出した成長因子を含む群から選択された少なくとも1つの材料を備えている、請求項42に記載の移植片。

- 前記隣接する骨構造体が融合し易いようにするために開口を更に含んでいる、請求項1に記載の移植片。
- 前記少なくとも1つの開口の中に、少なくとも1つの骨成長促進材を更に備えている、請求項45に記載の移植片。
- 前記骨成長促進材は、骨から導出した成長因子、骨形成蛋白質、ヒトの組み換え骨形態発生蛋白質、LIM脱塩蛋白質、骨ペースト、骨チップ、脱塩骨、ヒドロキシアパタイト、ホルモン、及び血小板から導出した成長因子を含む群から選択された少なくとも1つの材料を備えている、請求項46に記載の移植片。

前記複数の骨部片を、可撓性の細長い生体適合性のあるコネクタと相互接続して、移植片を形成する段階と、
前記移植片を隣接する骨構造体の間に配置する段階と、から成る方法。 - 前記相互接続された骨部片は、隣接する相互接続された部片の間が所定の間隔となるように離して配置されており、前記所定の間隔は、隣接する骨の部片の第1の対と、隣接する骨の部片の第2の対との間で異なっており、前記移植片の第1の部分は比較的剛性があり、前記移植片の第2の部分は比較的可撓性があるようになっている、請求項49に記載の方法。
- 前記相互接続された骨部片を、互いに積み重ねられた複数の負荷支承層へと形成する段階を更に含んでいる、請求項49に記載の方法。
- 前記移植片は、基板を更に備えており、前記相互接続された骨部片は、相互接続された骨部片の紐状体を形成し、前記相互接続された骨部片の紐状体は、前記基板と組み合わせられて前記移植片を形成している、請求項49に記載の方法。
