Abstract
Description

次に、図3を参照すると、WDT12が、バックスキャター・トランシーバ28と能動型トランシーバ21を含み、この実施形態では、WDT12は、直接変換受信器22と直接変換送信器24を含む。直接変換受信器22と直接変換送信器24は、より少ない部品数をもたらし、したがって、より低い費用、場合により、より低い電力消費をもたらす。
次に、図5を参照すると、代替の実施形態において、デバイス50が、バックスキャター・トランシーバ52と、単一変換の能動型無線受信器54と、二重変換送信器56とを含む。IF出力を有する単一変換受信器は、スーパヘテロダイン受信器とも呼ばれる。バックスキャター・トランシーバ52の動作は、図3のバックスキャター・トランシーバ28と同様である。
次に、図6を参照すると、別の実施形態において、デバイス60が、バックスキャター・トランシーバ62と、イメージ・リジェクト受信器64と、二重変換送信器66とを含む。バックスキャター・トランシーバ62の動作は、図3のバックスキャター・トランシーバ28と同様である。
次に、図7を参照すると、代替の実施形態において、バックスキャター・トランシーバ72と、ウィーバ受信器74と、開ループ変調送信器76とを有するデバイス70が示されている。バックスキャター・トランシーバ72の動作は、図3のバックスキャター・トランシーバ28と同様である。ウィーバ受信器74は、前述したイメージ・リジェクト・ミクサの変種である。ウィーバ・アーキテクチャは、広帯域移相器を実際的に実施するのが困難であるため、直交LOを使用する。
次に、図8を参照すると、CMOS技術またはBJT技術をそれぞれ備えたLNA80とLNA82が示されている。ソースとエミッタはそれぞれ、縮退型(degenerated)である。これにより、利得が低くなることに加え、入力インピーダンスをシフトさせられる。LCタンク回路が、ドレイン/コレクタにそれぞれ接続される。
次に、図10を参照すると、WDT100が、受信器入力104に接続された出力を有する送信器102を含む。さらに、能動型無線機110とバックスキャター受信器106がアンテナ108を共有する。これが、受信器または送信器が個別にオンである半二重無線機に関する好ましい実施形態である。同様に、バックスキャター無線機と能動型無線機も、同時にはオンではない。したがって、現在使用されていない無線セクション上の電力制御をディセーブルにすることができる。現在使用されていない無線セクションは、情報の受信または送信に影響を与えない。これは、使用されていない回路から電力を外すことによって達せられる。すると、使用されていない回路は、高インピーダンス状態にある。というのは、gmは、デバイスを流れる電流に関連しているからである。高インピーダンス状態は、「オン」条件にある所望の回路にほとんど影響を与えない。デバイスM2 110は、受信モード中に送信器を絶縁し、送信モード中にタンクを電源供給装置に接続するスイッチとして使用される。
代替の実施形態では、WDTは、バックスキャター・トランシーバなしで能動型トランシーバを含む。次に、図11を参照すると、能動型送信器が、アンテナに結合されているのが示されている。能動型送信器は、より大きい距離範囲で使用可能である。送信される信号の電力が、バックスキャター伝送と比べて、より大きいからである。これは、バックスキャター送信器において反射される信号が、受信される信号によって制限されるからである。受信された信号が、小さい場合、送信される信号は小さくなる。この原則に対する有意な例外はまったく存在しない。能動型送信器は、バックスキャター伝送技術を使用しない。信号は、受信され、次に、VCOまたはPLLの単一変換、二重変換、直接変調を使用して送信される。しかし、その他の技術が使用されることも可能である。すべての技術が、当業者によってよく理解されている。送信される信号は、受信された信号によって制限されない。電力は、行政規制によって制限される。
Claims (5)
- 棚の端のC形溝にはまるように適合された無線表示タグであって、
アンテナに結合された能動型トランシーバと、
バッテリと、
太陽電池と、
送信器インターフェースと受信器インターフェースとを有し、通信を制御するように適合されたデジタル論理回路と、
前記能動型トランシーバにそれぞれが結合された、前記デジタル論理回路に結合されたアナログ回路とを含むタグ。 - アナログ回路ユニットと、
デジタル論理回路ユニットと、
アンテナに結合され、前記アナログ回路ユニットと前記デジタル論理回路ユニットのそれぞれにも結合されたバックスキャター・トランシーバとを含む無線表示タグ。 - 前記デジタル論理回路ユニットは、送信器インターフェースと、受信器インターフェースとを含む請求項2に記載の無線表示タグ。
- 前記バックスキャター・トランシーバの送信器部分は、前記デジタル論理回路ユニットの前記送信器インターフェースに結合され、前記バックスキャター・トランシーバの受信器部分は、前記デジタル論理回路ユニットの前記受信器インターフェースに結合される請求項3に記載の無線表示タグ。
- アンテナに結合された能動型トランシーバと、
前記アンテナに結合されたバックスキャター・トランシーバと、
無線表示タグの動作を能動モードからバックスキャター・モードに選択的に切り替えるためのデジタル論理回路とを含む無線表示タグ。
