Description
Claims (30)
- 複数の要素を含む被受信信号ベクトルに関して、最高次の基本変調に対する第1回目のエレメント検索を実行する段階であって、前記第1回目のエレメント検索は、第1検索空間内で実行され、基本変調シンボルの被識別ベクトルを生成する、段階と、
前記被受信信号ベクトルを、前記被識別ベクトルに対応する新しい原点に変換し、変換済みの被受信信号ベクトルとする段階と、
前記変換済みの被受信信号ベクトルに関して次のエレメント検索を実行する段階であって、前記次のエレメント検索は前記被識別ベクトルにより画定される縮小検索空間内で実行され、前記次のエレメント検索は基本変調シンボルの次の被識別ベクトルを生成する、段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記被受信信号ベクトルは、直交振幅変調を用いて変調され、直交位相偏移変調が基本変調であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記被受信信号ベクトルは、パルス振幅変調を用いて変調され、双極位相相偏変調が基本変調であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 複数の要素を含む被受信信号ベクトルに関して、第1回目の直交位相偏移変調(QPSK)検索を実行する段階であって、前記第1回目のQPSK検索は、第1検索空間内で実行され、被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、段階と、
前記被受信信号ベクトルを、前記被識別QPSKベクトルに対応する新しい原点に変換し、変換済みの被受信信号ベクトルとする段階と、
前記変換済み被受信信号ベクトルに関して次のQPSK検索を実行する段階であって、前記次のQPSK検索は前記被識別QPSKベクトルにより画定される縮小検索空間内で実行され、前記次のQPSK検索が次の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記被受信信号ベクトルを生成する段階であって、前記複数の要素の各々は、マルチ入力マルチ出力受信アンテナ・アレイの複数の受信アンテナの1つのアンテナにより受信される信号に対応する、段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記次のQPSK検索実行の段階に先立ち、前記変換済み被受信信号ベクトルをスケーリングする段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記次のQPSK検索の結果、配座ポイントに対応する次の被識別QPSKベクトルが得られるまでに、
前記変換済み被受信信号ベクトルの変換を繰り返す段階と、
前記次のQPSK検索の実行を繰り返す段階と、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。 - ツリー検索アルゴリズムを、前記第1回目のQPSK検索および前記次のQPSK検索のいずれか一方あるいはその両方に組み込み、前記縮小検索空間を画定するために用いられる複数の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記ツリー検索アルゴリズムを組み込む段階は
Mアルゴリズム・ツリー検索をQPSK検索に組み込む段階、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。 - 前記ツリー検索アルゴリズムを組み込む段階は、
Tアルゴリズム・ツリー検索をQPSK検索に組み込む段階、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。 - デコーダによって使用するための少なくとも1つのソフト決定を含む検索結果を生成する段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記検索結果を生成する段階は、
前記少なくとも1つのソフト決定を、対数尤度比の集合としてまたは対数尤度比の概算値として生成する段階、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。 - 最低レベルの検索の結果として識別されるQPSKベクトルに対応するデマッピング済みのビット値を含む検索結果を生成する段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。 - 複数の要素を含む被受信信号ベクトルYに関して、第1回目の直交位相偏移変調(QPSK)検索を実行する段階であって、前記第1回目のQPSK検索は、第1検索空間内で実行され、被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、段階と、
縮小検索空間がQPSK配座に対応するまで、
前記被識別QPSKベクトルに基づき、より高次の干渉を打ち消し、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - ツリー検索アルゴリズムを、前記第1回目のQPSK検索および前記レベルkのQPSK検索のいずれか一方あるいはその両方に組み込み、前記縮小検索空間を画定するために用いられる複数の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。 - デコーダが使用する少なくとも1つのソフト決定を含む検索結果を生成する段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。 - 前記検索結果を生成する段階は、
前記少なくとも1つのソフト決定を、対数尤度比の集合としてまたは対数尤度比の概算値として生成する段階、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項16記載の方法。 - 最低レベルの検索の結果として識別されるQPSKベクトルに対応するデマッピング済みのビット値を含む検索結果を生成する段階、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。 - その上にプログラム命令を記憶されて、マルチ入力マルチ出力装置内で実行された場合に、
複数の要素を含む被受信信号ベクトルに関して、第1回目の直交位相偏移変調(QPSK)検索を実行する段階であって、前記第1回目のQPSK検索は、第1検索空間内で実行され、被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、段階と、
前記被受信信号ベクトルを、前記被識別QPSKベクトルに対応する新しい原点に変換し、変換済みの被受信信号ベクトルとする段階と、
前記変換済み被受信信号ベクトルに関して次のQPSK検索を実行する段階であって、前記次のQPSK検索は前記被識別QPSKベクトルにより画定される縮小検索空間内で実行され、前記次のQPSK検索は次の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、段階と、
を実行することを特徴とするコンピュータ読取り可能な媒体。 - 前記方法を実行する段階により、
ツリー検索アルゴリズムを、前記第1回目のQPSK検索および前記次のQPSK検索のいずれか一方あるいはその両方に組み込み、前記縮小検索空間を画定するために用いられる複数の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する段階、
がさらに実行されることを特徴とする請求項19記載のコンピュータ読取り可能な媒体。 - 前記方法を実行する段階により、
デコーダが使用する少なくとも1つのソフト決定を含む検索結果を生成する段階、
がさらに実行されることを特徴とする請求項19記載のコンピュータ読取り可能な媒体。 - 前記方法を実行する段階により、
最低レベルの検索の結果として識別されるQPSKベクトルに対応するデマッピング済みのビット値を含む検索結果を生成する段階、
がさらに実行されることを特徴とする請求項19記載のコンピュータ読取り可能な媒体。 - 複数の被受信信号を受信することのできる複数の受信アンテナと、
シンボル処理要素であって、
前記複数の被受信信号に対応する複数の要素を含む被受信信号ベクトルに関して、第1回目の直交位相偏移変調(QPSK)検索を実行し、前記第1回目のQPSK検索は、第1検索空間内で実行され、被識別QPSKベクトルを生成し、
前記被受信信号ベクトルを、前記被識別QPSKベクトルに対応する新しい原点に変換し、変換済みの被受信信号ベクトルとし、
前記変換済み被受信信号ベクトルに関して次のQPSK検索を実行し、前記次のQPSK検索は前記被識別QPSKベクトルにより画定される縮小検索空間内で実行され、前記次のQPSK検索は次の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、
ことを行うことができるシンボル処理要素と、
を含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記シンボル処理要素は、
ツリー検索アルゴリズムを、前記第1回目のQPSK検索および前記次のQPSK検索のいずれか一方あるいはその両方に組み込み、前記縮小検索空間を画定するために用いられる複数の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、
ことをさらに行うことができることを特徴とする請求項23記載の装置。 - 前記シンボル処理要素は、
デコーダが使用する少なくとも1つのソフト決定を含む検索結果を生成する、
ことをさらに行うことができることを特徴とする請求項23記載の装置。 - 前記シンボル処理要素は、
最低レベルの検索の結果として識別されるQPSKベクトルに対応するデマッピング済みのビット値を含む検索結果を生成する、
ことをさらに行うことができることを特徴とする請求項23記載の装置。 - 複数の被受信信号を受信することのできる複数の受信アンテナと、

前記複数の被受信信号に対応する複数の要素を含む被受信信号ベクトルに関して、第1回目の直交位相偏移変調(QPSK)検索を実行し、前記第1回目のQPSK検索は、第1検索空間内で実行され、被識別QPSKベクトルを生成し、
前記被受信信号ベクトルを、前記被識別QPSKベクトルに対応する新しい原点に変換し、変換済みの被受信信号ベクトルとし、
前記変換済み被受信信号ベクトルに関して次のQPSK検索を実行する段階であって、前記次のQPSK検索は前記被識別QPSKベクトルにより画定される縮小検索空間内で実行され、前記次のQPSK検索は次の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、
ことを行うことができるシンボル処理要素と、
を含むことを特徴とするマルチ入力マルチ出力通信装置。 - 前記シンボル処理要素は、
ツリー検索アルゴリズムを、前記第1回目のQPSK検索および前記次のQPSK検索のいずれか一方あるいはその両方に組み込み、前記縮小検索空間を画定するために用いられる複数の被識別QPSKベクトルを生成する、
ことをさらに行うことができることを特徴とする請求項27記載のマルチ入力マルチ出力通信装置。 - 前記シンボル処理要素は、
デコーダが使用する少なくとも1つのソフト決定を含む検索結果を生成する、
ことをさらに行うことができることを特徴とする請求項27記載のマルチ入力マルチ出力通信装置。 - 前記シンボル処理要素は、
最低レベルの検索の結果として識別されるQPSKベクトルに対応するデマッピング済みのビット値を含む検索結果を生成する、
