Abstract
【解決手段】代表的な電位図は、所定の時間期間または特定の条件が存在するときの患者の典型的電位図を表わす。この種表示電位図は、所定の時間期間または特定の条件が存在する時間期間中に連続的または周期的に記録される電位図の平均または統計測度とすることができる。

Description
本出願の原出願は、2002年9月19日出願の米国特許出願第10/251,629号の一部継続出願であり、その開示を、本願明細書に参照のために(ここでは第‘629号出願と呼ぶ)に取り込む。
本発明は、心臓に対し電気的刺激の形で治療を監視するだけの装置や治療を行うデバイスを含め、心臓の電気的活動を検知する能力をもった任意の心臓デバイスへ組み込むことができる。しかしながら、説明の都合上、本発明は両心室をぺーシングするかまたは図1に示した単一の心室へ二つのペースを送出する二つの心室ぺーシングチャネルを有する二重室ペースメーカ(すなわち、心房と心室の両方を検知しかつ/又はぺーシングするもの)を参照して説明する。(本願明細書にてこの用語を使用する如く、ペースメーカはこの種電気除細動/除細動等を実行できるどんな追加の機能にも拘わらず、ぺーシング機能をもった任意の心臓リズム管理デバイスである。)この種デバイスは固有のまたはぺーシングしたか、いずれかの心臓の活動から電位図を収集でき(後者は誘発応答電位図と呼ばれる)、表示電位図が導出される。また、後述する如く、二つの心室検知チャネルを持たせることで、デバイスを一方のこの種チャネルから記録される電位図を他方のチャネルで検知される心室検知信号に対し整列配置させ、記録された電位図が全て一定の基準点から始まるようにしてある。
本発明によれば、電位図を記録し処理する能力を有する埋込可能な心拍管理デバイスをプログラムし、所定の時間期間または特定の心拍について表示電位図を計算する。この種の表示電位図は、外部プログラム作成装置へダウンロードして表示することができる。表示電位図は、時間期間または図解的に示した個別の表示電位図により表わされる心拍をもって集合様式にて表示することができる。以下は、二つの例示実施形態の説明である。
Claims (17)
- 電子的生理データを記録し表わすシステムであって、
心臓の電気的活動を検知し電位図信号を生成する第1の検知チャネルを有する埋込可能な心臓デバイスを有し、
前記埋込可能な心臓デバイスのコントローラが、時間に対する複数の表示電位図を計算し、その表示電位図が、所定時間期間を表わし、その所定時間期間中に記録された1以上の電位図から導出されるようにプログラムされており、
さらに、前記埋込可能なデバイスから表示電位図をダウンロードし、該表示電位図の集合表示を生成する構成とした外部プログラム作成装置を備える、ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記各表示電位図は所定時間期間中に記録した複数の電位図の平均である請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記各表示電位図は所定時間期間中に記録した単一の電位図である請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記表示電位図は固有電位図である請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記表示電位図は誘発応答電位図である請求項1記載のシステム。
- 表示電位図は心拍範囲が所定範囲内にあるときの所定の時間期間中に記録した電位図からのみ導出する請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記表示電位図は外部プログラム作成装置のディスプレイ画面上に表示される請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記各表示電位図は該表示電位図が表わす所定時間期間を特定するグラフの陰影又は着色をもった電位図振幅のグラフとして表示される請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは連続的な所定時間期間に亙り表示電位図を連続的に生成するようプログラムされる請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは最も古い前記表示電位図を廃棄した状態でメモリ内に所定数の表示電位図を保全するようプログラムされる請求項9記載のシステム。
- 電子的生理データを記録し表現するシステムであって、
心臓の電気的活動を検知して電位図信号を生成する第1の検知チャネルを有する埋込可能な心臓デバイスを有し、
前記埋込可能な心臓デバイスのコントローラを、心拍に対する複数の表示電位図を記憶し、その表示電位図が、所定心拍範囲を表わし、その心拍が所定範囲内にある時、記録した1以上の電位図から導出されるようにプログラムし、
さらに、前記埋込可能なデバイスから表示電位図をダウンロードし、該表示電位図の集合表示を生成する構成とした外部プログラム作成装置を備える、ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 各表示電位図は前記心拍が所定範囲内にあるときに記録した単一の電位図である請求項11記載のシステム。
- 各表示電位図は前記心拍が前記所定範囲内にあるときの複数の電位図の平均である請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記表示電位図は固有の電位図である請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記表示電位図は誘発応答電位図であり、前記心拍はぺーシングを指す請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記表示電位図は外部プログラム作成装置のディスプレイ画面上に表示する請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記各表示電位図はその表示電位図が表わす所定心拍範囲を特定するグラフの陰影又は着色をもって時間又はサンプル番号に対する振幅のグラフとして表示する請求項11記載のシステム。
