Claims (9)
- 空気をエンジンの燃焼室に供給するためのインテークライン(20)と前記燃焼室から排気ガスを除去するための排気システム(15,22)を備えるピストン型内燃エンジン(10)であって、前記排気システムは、車両を推進させるための種々の負荷と共に機能するようにされた、環境に有害なエンジンからの排出物を減少させるための装置(29,30)を有し、
前記排気システム(15,22)は、環境に有害な排出物を減少させるための、バルブ(24)によって制御され、前記装置(29,30)の少なくとも一部をバイパスさせるブランチパイプ(26)を有し、エンジンの全負荷範囲の一部において排気ガス流を前記ブランチパイプ(26)に導くようにされ、且つエンジンの全負荷範囲の前記一部において許容可能な排出物を与えるようにエンジンが最適化されるように前記バルブ(24)が制御されることを特徴とする、ピストン型内燃エンジン。 - 前記エンジンの全負荷範囲の前記一部は主としてエンジンの低負荷範囲を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 前記ブランチパイプ(26)は、エンジンからの酸化窒素排出物を減少させるための所謂NOxトラップ(リーンNOx吸収体)(30)と並列して接続され、排気ガス中に前記トラップを再生させる燃焼可能な物質を注入する注入装置(29)が前記バルブ(24)と前記NOxトラップ(30)との間に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 前記ブランチパイプ(26)はSCR触媒コンバータ(30)を有する排気ガス後処理システムと並列して接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 再生可能な粒子フィルタ(23)がバルブ(24)の上流に設けられ、排気ガス流が前記ブランチパイプ(26)を通して導かれている間に再生が可能とされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 前記ブランチパイプ(26)はLNC触媒コンバータ(30)を有する排気ガス後処理システムと並列に接続されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 再生可能な粒子フィルタ(28)が、ブランチパイプ(26)と排気ラインを含むLNC触媒コンバータ(30)が結合する点(27)の下流に設けられ、排気ガス流が前記ブランチパイプ(26)を通して導かれている間に粒子フィルタの再生が可能とされることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃エンジン。
- バルブ(24)の上流に脱硫装置(34)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の内燃エンジン。
- システム(31−33)は内燃エンジンの温度を低下させるためにエンジンの前記インテーク側に冷却された排気ガスを戻すように設計されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の内燃エンジン。
