Description
図1は、本発明のディジタルコンテンツキオスクの一実施形態を示す略図である。
・次式のカルドール(カシューナット殻液中に存在するアルキル(アルケニル)レゾルシノールの混合物)、
・2,4,2’,4’−テトラヒドロキシベンゾフェノン
・2−ヒドロキシ−4−(2−ヒドロキシエトキシ)ベンゾフェノン、
・2,2’−ジヒドロキシ−4−メトキシベンゾフェノン、
・2,2’−ジヒドロキシ−4,4’−ジメトキシベンゾフェノン、
・2−ヒドロキシ−4−メトキシベンゾフェノン−5−スルホン酸、
・フェニル−1−ヒドロキシナフトエート(モノヒドロキシ)、
・ポリヒドロキシスチレン、
・2−(2−ヒドロキシ−p−アニソイル)安息香酸、
・2,4−ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、
・2,5−ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、
・3,5−ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、
・1−ヒドロキシ−2−ナフトエ酸(モノヒドロキシ)、及び

1,5−ジヒドロキシ−4,8−ビス(フェニルアミノ)−9,10−アントラセンジオン
接着剤層は上述の層の任意の組合せを接着できる。本発明の好ましい実施形態では、接着剤層は(以下に一層詳しく説明される)反応性接着剤層からなる。任意には、反応性接着剤層は情報記憶媒体に付随した単独の反応層からなる。接着剤層は、酸素が透過できる層を形成し得ると共に、(それが所望されない限りは)データ取得装置からの光が情報記憶媒体を通して伝送されるのを実質的に妨害しない(例えば、データ取得装置が使用する光の波長で実質的に透明であり、及び/又は情報記憶媒体からの反射率を約50%以上、好ましくは約65%以上、さらに好ましくは約75%以上にする)任意の材料を含み得る。例示的な接着剤材料には、特に限定されないが、アクリレート(例えば、架橋アクリレートなど)、シリコンハードコートなど、並びに上述のものの1種以上を含む反応生成物及び組合せのようなUV材料がある。UV材料の他の例は、米国特許第4179548号及び同第4491508号に記載されている。若干の有用な多官能性アクリレートモノマーには、例えば、次式のジアクリレート、トリアクリレート及びテトラアクリレートがある。
Ineos Acrylics社から入手したElvacite 2010ポリ(メチルメタクリレート)60グラムをボトル中の1−メトキシ−2−プロパノール300グラムに添加し、ボトルをローラーミル上で転がして溶解させることで、PMMAの1−メトキシ−2−プロパノール溶液を調製した。溶液をフラスコに移し、溶液の表面上に窒素流をゆっくりと流しながら約80℃に加熱した。カニューレチューブを用い、脱気した溶液をゴム隔膜で密閉した脱気ボトルに窒素圧によって移した。
下記の量の原料を使用した点を除き、実施例1と同様にして溶液を調製した。
上記実施例2のようにして限定再生式DVDを製造した。ただし、0.6mmの金属化BPAポリカーボネートDVDの第一の基板の代わりに、結合済みの厚さ1.2mmのDVDのデータ面(レーザー入射面)にPMMA/ロイコメチレンブルー溶液を塗布した。上述の通り、800rpmの回転速度を有するスピンコーターで60秒間回転させることで被膜を設置した。次いで、被覆済みのディスクを窒素室内で48時間以上保存した後、酸素不透過性のマイラーフォイル袋中に包装した。
上記実施例3に記載したものと同様な方法を用いて、限定再生式記録型DVD−Rディスクを製造した。DVD−Rディスクのデータ面(レーザー入射面)にPMMA/ロイコメチレンブルー溶液を塗布した。上述の通り、800rpmの回転速度を有するスピンコーターで60秒間回転させることで被膜を設置した。次いで、被覆済みのDVD−RディスクをDVD−Rドライブ(Pioneer DVR−105)内に配置し、ディスクにディジタル映像を記録した。記録操作は約30分で完了した。記録操作の完了後、ディスクをDVDプレイヤー(Sony DVP−S360)内に配置し、映像が再生可能であることを確認した。3日後、ディスクをDVDプレイヤーに再挿入したところ、再生不可能であった。
上記実施例4に記載したものと同様な方法を用いて、限定再生式記録型DVD−Rディスクを製造した。ディジタル映像を記録した後、ディスクを酸素不透過性のマイラーフォイル袋中に包装した。1週間後、ディスクを袋から取り出し、DVDプレイヤー内に配置し、それが再生可能であることを確認した。2〜3日後、ディスクをDVDプレイヤーに再挿入したところ、再生不可能であった。
DVD−Rディスクを記録した後に反応性被膜を設置した点を除き、上記実施例3に記載したものと同様な方法を用いて限定再生式記録型DVD−Rディスクを製造した。DVD−RディスクをDVD−Rドライブ(Pioneer DVR−105)内に配置し、ディスクにディジタル映像を記録した。記録操作の完了後、DVDディスクのデータ面(レーザー入射面)にPMMA/ロイコメチレンブルー溶液を塗布した。上述の通り、800rpmの回転速度を有するスピンコーターで60秒間回転させることで被膜を設置した。次いで、被覆済みのディスクをDVDプレイヤー(Sony DVP−S360)内に配置し、映像が再生可能であることを確認した。3日後、ディスクをDVDプレイヤーに再挿入したところ、再生不可能であった。

Claims (10)
- 選択されたディジタルコンテンツをユーザーに引き渡すために機能し得るディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)であって、
選択されたディジタルコンテンツを受容するように構成された記録型情報記憶媒体(14)であって、所定の時間後に期限切れになる限定再生式記録型情報記憶媒体からなる記録型情報記憶媒体(14)、及び
ユーザーの要求に応じて記録型情報記憶媒体(14)上に選択されたディジタルコンテンツを記録するために機能し得る情報記憶媒体記録装置(12)
を含んでなるディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。 - さらに、選択されたディジタルコンテンツを保存するために機能し得るメモリー(18)を含んでいて、メモリー(18)はディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)内に配設されたメモリー及びディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)から遠隔の場所に配設されたメモリーの1以上からなる、請求項1記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- さらに、選択されたディジタルコンテンツにアクセスするために機能し得るネットワークインターフェース(24)を含んでいて、ネットワークインターフェース(24)は電話モデム、ケーブルモデム、DSL回線、T1回線、ローカルエリアネットワーク(LAN)、ワイドエリアネットワーク(WAN)及びグローバルネットワーク(インターネット)の1以上からなる、請求項1記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- さらに、選択されたディジタルコンテンツを含む記録型情報記憶媒体(14)をユーザーに引き渡すために機能し得る記録型情報記憶媒体引渡し装置(30)を含む、請求項1記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- 記録型情報記憶媒体引渡し装置(30)がさらに、選択されたディジタルコンテンツを含む記録型情報記憶媒体(14)をユーザーに引き渡すのに先立ち、記録型情報記憶媒体(14)を限定再生式にする反応被膜を記録型情報記憶媒体(14)の表面に適用するために機能し得る、請求項4記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- 記録型情報記憶媒体引渡し装置(30)がさらに、選択されたディジタルコンテンツを含む記録型情報記憶媒体(14)をユーザーに引き渡すのに先立ち、記録型情報記憶媒体(14)を包装して記録型情報記憶媒体(14)に不活性環境を提供するために機能し得る、請求項4記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- 記録型情報記憶媒体(14)が、CD−R、CD−RW、DVD−R、DVD−RW、DVD+RW、DVD−RAM、MOディスク、不揮発性メモリーカード及び着脱式磁気ハードドライブカートリッジからなる群から選択される記録型情報記憶媒体(14)からなる、請求項1記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- 限定再生式記録型情報記憶媒体(14)が反応層(48)及び反応性接着剤層(52)の1以上を含む、請求項1記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- 反応層(48)及び反応性接着剤層(52)の1以上が反応性物質を含み、反応性物質が酸素感受性ロイコメチレンブルー、還元形メチレンブルー、還元形ブリリアントクレジルブルー、還元形ベッシックブルー3及び還元形トルイジン0の1種以上からなる、請求項8記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
- 反応層(48)及び反応性接着剤層(52)の1以上が1種以上の光漂白抑制剤を含み、1種以上の光漂白抑制剤がポリヒドロキシ化合物及びポリヒドロキシスチレンの1種以上からなり、ポリヒドロキシ化合物がレゾルシノール、4−ヘキシルレゾルシノール、クロロレゾルシノール及び2,4−ジヒドロ安息香酸の1種以上からなる、請求項8記載のディジタルコンテンツキオスクシステム(10)。
