Abstract
Description
本発明の方法において、有機ポリイソシアネートを、約400〜1500の数平均分子量を有するソルビトールに基づくポリエーテルポリオールと、ペンタフルオロプロパン発泡剤および触媒の存在下に反応させる。
ポリオールA:ヒドロキシル価が約470のスクロースに基づくポリエーテルポリオールである。このポリオールは、初めにスクロース/プロピレングリコール/水のスラリーを、エチレンオキシドと、次いでプロピレンオキシドと、KOH触媒の存在下に、エチレンオキシドがアルキレンオキシドの合計使用量の約30%を構成し、プロピレンオキシドが約70%を構成するように反応させることによって製造したものである。次いで、このポリオールを、乳酸で中和し、蒸留して残留水を除去した。
ポリオールD:OH価が240である芳香族ポリエステルポリオールであり、これは、Stepan CompanyからStepanol PS 2502aの名称のもとで市販されている。
DC-5357:シリコン界面活性剤であり、これは、Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.からDabco DC-5537の名称のもとで市販されている。
PDT:ペンタメチルジエチレントリアミン。
TPT:1,3,5-トリス(3-(ジメチルアミノ)プロピル)ヘキサヒドロ-s-トリアジン。
K因子は、LaserComp 300 k-Factor装置を用いて、8×8×1インチのコアフォーム試料で測定した。75°Fの平均温度を用いた。
Claims (7)
- 硬質ポリウレタンフォームの製造方法であって、
(a)有機ポリイソシアネートを、
(b)約400〜1500の数平均分子量を有するソルビトールに基づくポリエーテルポリオールと、
(c)ペンタフルオロプロパン発泡剤、および
(d)触媒、
の存在下に反応させることを含んでなる方法。 - 発泡剤を、1,1,2,2,3-ペンタフルオロプロパン、1,1,2,3,3-ペンタフルオロプロパン、1,1,1,2,3-ペンタフルオロペンタンおよび1,1,1,3,3-ペンタフルオロプロパンからなる群から選択する請求項1に記載の方法。
- ソルビトールに基づくポリエーテルポリオールが、エチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシドポリエーテルポリオールである請求項2に記載の方法。
- ソルビトールに基づかないポリオールも反応混合物中に含まれている請求項2に記載の方法。
- 水も反応混合物中に含まれている請求項2に記載の方法。
- 硬質ポリウレタンフォームの製造方法であって、
(a)有機ポリイソシアネートを、
(b)約400〜1500の数平均分子量を有するソルビトールに基づくポリエーテルポリオール、
(b1)o-トルエンジアミンに基づくポリエーテルポリオール、
(b2)ポリエステルポリオール、および
(b3)水と、
(c)1,1,2,2,3-ペンタフルオロプロパン、1,1,2,3,3-ペンタフルオロプロパン、1,1,1,2,3-ペンタフルオロペンタンおよび1,1,1,3,3-ペンタフルオロプロパンからなる群から選択されるペンタフルオロプロパン発泡剤、および
(d)第三アミン触媒、
の存在下に反応させることを含んでなる方法。 - ソルビトールに基づくポリエーテルポリオールが、エチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシドポリエーテルポリオールである請求項6に記載の方法。
