Abstract
【解決手段】電解質層を燃料極と酸素極とで挟持した燃料電池を積層すべく、隣接する燃料電池間に挿入され、ガスを遮断する板状のガス遮断部材と、該ガス遮断部材と前記燃料極又は酸素極との間に挿入され、前記ガスを拡散させる複数の開口を備えた集電体とを有するセパレータユニットであって、前記集電体は、前記燃料極又は酸素極に当接して集電する平板状の多孔板から成る電極当接部と、前記ガス遮断部材に当接してガス流路を形成するとともに前記電極当接部を保持する線状体から成るガス遮断部材当接部とを備え、該ガス遮断部材当接部の高さ寸法が前記電極当接部の開口の相当直径よりも小さい。

Claims (4)
- 電解質層を燃料極と酸素極とで挟持した燃料電池を積層すべく、隣接する燃料電池間に挿入され、ガスを遮断する板状のガス遮断部材と、該ガス遮断部材と前記燃料極又は酸素極との間に挿入され、前記ガスを拡散させる複数の開口を備えた集電体とを有するセパレータユニットであって、
前記集電体は、前記燃料極又は酸素極に当接して集電する平板状の多孔板から成る電極当接部と、前記ガス遮断部材に当接してガス流路を形成するとともに前記電極当接部を保持する線状体から成るガス遮断部材当接部とを備え、該ガス遮断部材当接部の高さ寸法が前記電極当接部の開口の相当直径よりも小さいことを特徴とするセパレータユニット。 - 前記電極当接部の開口率は30〜50〔%〕である請求項1に記載のセパレータユニット。
- 前記電極当接部の開口は、形状が方形であり、短い方の対角寸法が0.7〔mm〕以上1.3〔mm〕未満であり、長い方の対角寸法が0.8〔mm〕以上2.8〔mm〕未満である請求項1に記載のセパレータユニット。
- 電解質層を燃料極と酸素極とで挟持した燃料電池が、セパレータユニットを挟んで積層されている燃料電池スタックであって、
前記セパレータユニットは、隣接する燃料電池間に挿入され、ガスを遮断する板状のガス遮断部材と、該ガス遮断部材と前記燃料極又は酸素極との間に挿入され、前記ガスを拡散させる複数の開口を備えた集電体とを有し、
前記集電体は、前記燃料極又は酸素極に当接して集電する平板状の多孔板から成る電極当接部と、前記ガス遮断部材に当接してガス流路を形成するとともに前記電極当接部を保持する線状体から成るガス遮断部材当接部とを備え、該ガス遮断部材当接部の高さ寸法が前記電極当接部の開口の相当直径よりも小さいことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
