Description

The present invention relates to a paper sheet separating and accumulating mechanism that transports paper sheets such as banknotes and slips and stores them in a paper sheet storage unit.

The conventional paper sheet separating and accumulating mechanism hits the paper sheet discharged to the paper sheet storage unit to prevent the trailing paper sheet from colliding and further presses the upper surface of the accumulated paper sheet. Provided with a tongue roller having a tongue piece for suppressing the habit of the paper, and this tongue piece does not interfere with the feeding of the paper sheet when the paper sheet is fed out from the paper sheet storage unit and conveyed. When the tongue roller rotates in the direction in which the paper sheets are stacked, it is formed so as to spread by the centrifugal force (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
JP 2003-171068 (paragraphs 0029-0030, FIG. 4)

However, in the above-described conventional technique, the tongue piece is contracted so as not to disturb the feeding of the paper sheet, and when the tongue roller rotates in the direction in which the paper sheet is accumulated, the centrifugal force is applied. In order to spread the tongue piece, for example, it is used when paper sheets accumulated in the paper sheet storage unit are separated and transported, and transported by paper sheets that are worn loose and skewed. When an error occurs and the paper in the transport path is once returned to the paper stacking unit, the tongue is sufficient to transport the paper at a low speed and return it to the paper storage unit. There is a problem that paper sheets cannot be beaten because they do not spread.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention is configured to reliably knock down the paper sheets regardless of the rotation speed of the tongue piece roller and accumulate the paper sheets in the paper sheet storage unit so as to press the upper surface of the paper sheets. It is another object of the present invention to provide means for preventing the paper sheet from being fed out from the paper sheet storage unit.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a paper sheet storage unit that stores paper sheets, and a tongue piece that is disposed so as to be positioned in front of the paper sheets fed from the paper sheet storage unit. In the paper sheet separating and accumulating mechanism provided with a roller, the tongue piece roller includes a tongue piece boss portion and a plurality of tongue pieces provided so that the base portion is embedded in the tongue piece boss portion and the tips extend radially. And a portion extending outside the tongue piece boss portion with respect to a portion where each tongue piece is embedded in the tongue piece boss portion is bent in a direction in which the paper sheet is fed out.

Thus, according to the present invention, when collecting paper sheets, the paper sheets can be knocked down reliably regardless of the rotation speed, and when the paper sheets are fed out from the paper sheet storage unit, the paper sheets are Even if it collides with the tongue piece, it is bent along the direction in which the tongue piece is bent, so that it is possible to stably feed out the paper sheets.

Embodiments of a paper sheet separating and accumulating mechanism according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a side view showing the paper sheet separating and accumulating mechanism of the first embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a front view showing the paper sheet separating and accumulating mechanism of the first embodiment.
1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a paper sheet separating and accumulating mechanism.
Reference numeral 2 denotes a paper sheet storage unit, which is provided on the front plate 2a, a rear plate 2b provided to face the front plate 2a, a pair of side plates 2c provided on the sides of the front plate 2a and the rear plate 2b, and below. This is a housing composed of a stage 3 that can be moved up and down by a lifting mechanism (not shown).

FIG. 1 shows a state in which the side plate 2c on the front side is removed.
Reference numeral 4 denotes a feed roller, which is installed at a predetermined interval on a feed roller shaft 5 provided at the entrance of the paper sheet storage unit 2 and rotates in a forward and reverse direction. A high-friction member 6 having a sufficient frictional force for the transfer of is attached.
Reference numeral 7 denotes a separation roller, which is disposed on a separation roller shaft 8 disposed opposite to the feed roller 4 and disposed in parallel with the feed roller shaft 5.

The separation roller shaft 8 is provided with a one-way clutch (not shown), and can rotate only in a direction (referred to as a stacking direction) in which the paper sheet P indicated by the arrow A in FIG. The paper sheet P is not rotated in the direction in which the paper sheet P is fed out from the paper sheet storage unit 2 (referred to as a feeding direction).
The separation roller 7 also separates the separation roller 7 and the paper sheet P when a plurality of paper sheets P are fed and held between the feed rollers 4 when the paper sheet P is conveyed in the feeding direction. The material or the like is determined so that the friction acting between the feed roller 4 rotating in the feeding direction and the paper sheet P is smaller than the friction acting between the paper sheets P and larger than the friction working between the paper sheets P. Thus, when a plurality of paper sheets P are sandwiched between the feed rollers 4, the paper sheets P are prevented from being double-fed.

Reference numeral 10 denotes a tongue piece roller, which is configured such that the base portion of the tongue piece 11 is embedded in the tongue piece boss portion 12 and the tip of the tongue piece 11 extends radially.
Since the tongue roller 10 is installed on the separation roller shaft 8 described above, the tongue roller 10 rotates in conjunction with the separation roller 7 in the stacking direction of the paper sheets P and does not rotate in the feeding direction.
The tongue piece 11 is formed of an elastic material such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or polyimide film, and extends outward of the tongue piece boss portion 12 with respect to a portion embedded in the tongue piece boss portion 12 as shown in FIG. The portion is bent approximately 15 degrees forward from the base in the feeding direction of the paper sheet P.

The tongue piece roller 10 of this embodiment is provided with four tongue pieces 11.
In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, the tongue piece rollers 10 are arranged one by one on the left and right sides outside the separation roller 7, and two are disposed between the separation rollers 7.
The tongue piece roller 10 disposed outside the separation roller 7 is attached in a state where the phase is shifted with respect to the tongue piece roller 10 disposed between the separation rollers 7.

A pickup roller 13 is arranged on the downstream side of the feed roller 4 in the stacking direction, and a high friction member 13a having a sufficient frictional force for conveying the paper sheet P is attached to a part of the outer periphery thereof. And rotates in conjunction with the feed roller 4 by a belt or the like.
Reference numeral 14 denotes a pair of conveyance guides, which are provided with an opening through which the tongue piece 11 passes at a position overlapping the track of the tongue piece 11 when the tongue piece roller 10 rotates, and is conveyed to the paper sheet storage unit 2 The sheet P is guided, and the sheet P fed out from the sheet storage unit 2 and sandwiched between the feed roller 4 and the separation roller 7 is guided.

In FIG. 2, reference numeral 16 denotes a conveyance roller, which is installed on the feed roller shaft 5, is formed with a high friction member on the entire circumference, and is disposed outside the feed roller 4.
The operation of the above configuration will be described.
When the paper sheet P guided by the transport guide 14 is transported in the stacking direction and stacked in the paper sheet storage unit 2, the feed roller 4 is rotated counterclockwise in FIG. 1 and the separation roller 7 is rotated clockwise. The paper sheet P sandwiched between the feed roller 4 and the separation roller 7 is conveyed to the paper sheet storage unit 2.

The paper sheet P is discharged to the paper sheet storage unit 2 by the feed roller 4 and the separation roller 7 rotating in the stacking direction, and the paper sheet P is knocked down by the tongue piece 11 of the tongue piece roller 10. Accumulate on the stage 3 of the paper sheet storage unit 2.
In this case, the stage 3 detects the position of the upper surface of the paper sheet P accumulated by an optical upper surface detection sensor (not shown) provided in the paper sheet storage unit 2, and the tongue piece 11 of the tongue piece roller 10 is moved. The upper surface is lowered so as to keep the position of the upper surface constant so that the uppermost stacked paper sheets P can be hit.

Next, a case where the paper sheet P is fed out from the paper sheet storage unit 2 and conveyed in the feeding direction will be described.
The feed roller 4 and the pickup roller 13 are rotated clockwise in FIG. 1, the stage 3 of the paper sheet storage unit 2 is raised, and the uppermost paper sheet P accumulated is pressed against the pickup roller 13, The paper sheet P is conveyed in the direction of the feed roller 4 by a frictional force acting between the high friction member 13 a attached to the pickup roller 13 and the paper sheet P.

Here, since the separation roller shaft 8 to which the separation roller 7 and the tongue piece roller 10 are attached does not rotate in the feeding direction, the separation roller 7 and the tongue piece roller 10 are stopped.
FIG. 3 is an explanatory view showing a state where the collision angle between the paper sheet and the tongue piece is smaller than 90 degrees, and FIG. 4 is a state where the paper sheet passes over the tongue piece roller when the collision angle is smaller than 90 degrees. It is explanatory drawing which shows.

When there is a tongue piece 11 that is stopped in a state of extending toward the upper side of the paper sheet storage unit 2 in front of the transported paper sheet P, as shown in FIG. The tongue 11 collides with a collision angle smaller than 90 degrees.
When the paper sheet P collides with the tongue piece 11, the bent base of the tongue piece 11 is bent so as to be retracted from the paper sheet P due to the momentum of the collision as shown in FIG. The paper sheet P is fed out as it is, is sandwiched between the feed roller 4 and the separation roller 7, and is further conveyed by the frictional force between the high friction member 6 attached to the feed roller 4.

Here, the separation roller 7 is stopped when the paper sheet P is transported in the feeding direction, and when a plurality of stacked paper sheets P are sandwiched between the feed roller 4 and the separation roller 7. As described above, the separation roller 7 prevents the paper sheet P from being double fed, and only the uppermost paper sheet P in contact with the feed roller 4 is separated and conveyed.
The reaction force F acting on the paper sheet P when the paper sheet P collides with the tongue 11 is a force corresponding to a weight within a range of 20 to 25 g. Since the sheet P is not hindered from being conveyed, the sheet P is conveyed as it is without being affected by the collision with the tongue piece 11.

On the other hand, FIG. 5 is an explanatory view showing a state where the collision angle between the paper sheet and the tongue piece is 90 degrees, and FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating how the paper sheet passes over the tongue piece roller when the collision angle is 90 degrees. It is explanatory drawing which shows a mode.
If there is a tongue piece 11 extending vertically as shown in FIG. 5 in front of the conveyed paper sheet P, the paper sheet P and the tongue piece 11 collide with each other at a collision angle of 90 degrees.
When the paper sheet P collides with the tongue piece 11, as shown in FIG. 6, the bent root of the tongue piece 11 is retracted from the paper sheet with the momentum of collision as in the case where the collision angle is smaller than 90 degrees. As the sheet P is bent, the sheet P is sandwiched between the feed roller 4 and the separation roller 7 as it is, and is further conveyed by the frictional force between the high friction member 6 attached to the feed roller 4.

Here, when the collision angle is 90 degrees, as shown in FIG. 5, compared with the case where the collision angle is smaller than 90 degrees, the paper sheet P collides at a location near the base of the tongue piece 11, and therefore the reaction force However, it is within the range of the reaction force F that does not hinder the conveyance of the paper sheet P as described above, and does not affect the conveyance of the paper sheet P.
As described above, in the present embodiment, the portion extending outside the tongue boss portion with respect to the portion where the tongue piece is embedded in the tongue piece boss portion is folded forward in the paper feeding direction. Therefore, when stacking paper sheets, the paper sheets can be knocked down reliably regardless of the rotation speed, and when the paper sheets are fed out from the paper sheet storage unit, the paper sheets collide with the tongue pieces. However, since the tongue piece is bent along the direction in which it is bent, the reaction force acting on the paper sheets is reduced, and the paper sheets can be stably separated.

Further, since the tongue piece is bent forward in the paper feeding direction, the tongue piece can be easily manufactured and can be manufactured at low cost.
In this embodiment, the tongue piece is formed of an elastic material such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, polyimide film, etc., and is embedded in the tongue piece boss portion. However, the present invention is not limited to this. Needless to say, it may be a single piece.
