Abstract
【構成】圧電素子を密閉容器3内に収容して前記圧電素子の板面を二等分する中心線に対して左右に回転遥動するともに、前記密閉容器3には音響媒質としての液体9が充填された超音波探触子において、前記密閉容器3には前記液体9の注入孔とともに排気孔13を設け、前記注入孔にはダイアフラムとして機能する柔軟性チューブ15を接続し、前記柔軟性チューブ15及び前記排気孔13には封止蓋11が設けられた構成とする。

Description
短軸遥動探触子は圧電素子群を長軸方向に電子走査し、短軸方向に機械的に走査(遥動)して立体画像を得るものとして知られる(特許文献1〜3)。このことから、例えば圧電素子を縦横に配列して二次元方向に電子走査するマトリクス型等に比較し、例えば配線(結線)及び走査回路を容易にするので、現実化されている。
しかしながら、上記構成の短軸遥動探触子では、例えば特許文献4で指摘するように、密閉容器3内に充填されたオイル9が温度変化等によって膨張・収縮し、オイル漏れや気泡を発生する問題があった。この場合、超音波の減衰を大きくして超音波特性を著しく低下させる。
本発明は超音波媒質としての液体中の気泡の発生を防止し、超音波特性を良好にする超音波探触子を提供することを目的とする。
本発明の請求項2では、前記排気孔にはダイアフラムとして機能する柔軟性チューブが接続して封止蓋が設けられる。これにより、特に液体の充満後には、柔軟性チューブの2個がダイアフラムとして機能するので、1個の場合よりも例えばオイルの膨張・収縮量に対する融通性が利く。
上記実施形態では注入孔10のみに柔軟性チューブ15を設けたが、第2図に示したように排気孔13に設けてもよい。この場合、例えば排気孔13の柔軟性チューブ15を短くして、注入孔10からの充填時にオイルを溢れさせやすくした方がよい。これらにより、特に密閉容器3にオイルを充満して封止蓋11を設けた以降は、2個の柔軟性チューブ15がダイアフラム12として機能するので、例えばオイルの膨張・収縮量に対する融通性が利く。
Claims (3)
- 圧電素子を密閉容器内に収容して前記圧電素子の板面を二等分する中心線に対して左右に回転遥動するとともに、前記密閉容器には音響媒質としての液体が充填された超音波探触子において、前記密閉容器には前記液体の注入孔とともに排気孔を設け、前記注入孔にはダイアフラムとして機能する柔軟性チューブを接続し、前記柔軟性チューブ及び前記排気孔には封止蓋が設けられたことを特徴とする超音波探触子。
- 前記排気孔にはダイアフラムとして機能する柔軟性チューブが接続して封止蓋が設けられた請求項1の超音波探触子。
- 前記圧電素子は複数個が長軸方向に並べられて圧電素子群を形成し、前記中心線は前記圧電素子群の短軸方向を二等分する請求項1の超音波探触子。
