Description

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a terminal block used in an electronic device. The present invention also relates to a terminal block, a printed wiring board on which the terminal block is mounted, and an electronic device including the printed wiring board.

In an electronic device, a terminal block is used to connect a fixed wire (or a fixed terminal) and a lead wire. There are two types of terminal blocks: one that connects a crimp terminal to a lead wire and fixes and connects the crimp terminal, and the other that is called a box type that directly connects the lead terminal. In both terminal blocks, a female screw portion is formed on the upper plate, and a terminal screw is screwed into the female screw portion.

Referring to FIG. 6, the female screw portion 106 in the conventional terminal block 101 uses a nut 140, and a support plate 102 is provided in the vertical direction of the upper plate 121 so as to wrap the side end portion of the nut 140. The support plate 102 is caulked to fix the nut 140 to the upper plate 121.

。   In addition, some of the female screw portions in the conventional terminal block are formed by burring the upper plate to form a female screw portion (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

0007Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-199591 Paragraph 0007

In the conventional terminal block 101 manufactured by the method of crimping the support plate and fixing the nut, the upper surface of the female screw part is not flat, and the crimping state between the crimping terminal and the housing part tends to become unstable, and at the same time, crimping The electrical connection between the terminal and the housing is uncertain. The operation of connecting the lead wire to the terminal block is a screw tightening operation, and the operator tends to tighten the screw strongly, and the caulking is loosened due to excessive force due to the screw tightening. When the caulking is loosened, the electrical connection between the nut member and the housing member becomes unstable. In addition, if the caulking is loosened, an accident may occur in which the nut turns idle and the terminal screw cannot be removed.

The conventional terminal block in which the female thread portion is formed by burring processing has a small number of screw rotations of the female thread portion, and there is concern about the screwing of the terminal screw and the connection strength of the lead wire. If the screw is tightened too much as in the above case, an accident that the screw thread of the female screw portion is destroyed is likely to occur.

The printed wiring board using the conventional terminal screw lacks the reliability of electrical connection and mechanical fixing. Similarly, an electronic device provided with such a printed wiring board lacks the reliability of electrical connection and mechanical fixing.

Then, this invention makes it a subject to obtain the manufacturing method of the terminal block which can manufacture the terminal block with which the electrical connection of a housing part and a female thread part is reliable. Further, according to the present invention, even when the upper surface of the female screw portion is flat and a crimp terminal is connected to the upper surface, there is no mechanical rattling between the housing portion and the crimp terminal, and electrical connection can be performed stably. It aims at obtaining the manufacturing method of the terminal block which manufactures a terminal block. Moreover, this invention makes it a subject to obtain the manufacturing method of the terminal block which manufactures the terminal block which can prevent the idle rotation of a female screw part and can ensure the connection intensity | strength of a terminal screw enough.

Moreover, this invention makes it a subject to obtain the terminal block which overcomes the problem which the conventional terminal block mentioned above has.

Furthermore, this invention makes it a subject to obtain the printed wiring board and electronic device which the reliability of electrical connection and mechanical fixation improved.

Other problems of the present invention will become apparent from the description of the present invention.

Means for solving the problem will be described below. For ease of understanding, some components are described with reference numerals corresponding to the embodiments of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the embodiments.

A manufacturing method of a terminal block according to an aspect of the present invention includes an upper plate and a side plate, the side plate is erected downward from the upper plate, and a female screw portion is formed on the upper plate, The manufacturing method of a terminal block in which a terminal screw is screwed into the female screw part includes the following steps.
I. A housing member (20) having an upper plate and a side plate erected downward from the upper plate, wherein a receiving hole (25) having a circular cross section is formed in the upper plate, and a peripheral wall of the receiving hole is formed The upper end surface (d32) has a countersunk portion (27) having a larger diameter than the lower end surface (d33), and a part of the peripheral wall forming the countersunk portion is cut out to cut the meat stealer (31 Preparing the housing member provided with

A screw (46) is screwed on the inner wall surface of the pillar portion, which is larger than the diameter (d33) of the lower end surface of the counterbore portion, and the protruding portion is a fixed distance (s47) from the outer peripheral contour line of the upper end surface of the pillar portion. A circular wall shape standing up from the distant upper end surface and rising upward, and the upper end surface extending from the outer peripheral contour line of the upper end surface of the column portion to the rising portion of the protruding portion is a step portion (45). Preparing the nut member forming
C. The protruding portion of the nut member is fitted into the receiving hole of the housing member from below and the lower surface of the upper plate of the housing member and the gap portion of the nut member are in contact with each other. Applying a diameter-expanding means to the portion, and fixing the housing member and the nut member;

In the present invention, the diameter expanding means means a processing means for deforming a protruding portion such as high-spin caulking or pressing and simultaneously molding. Therefore, the diameter expanding means can also be called diameter expanding / forming means. In the present invention, the terminal block includes both those in which a crimp terminal is connected to a lead wire and the crimp terminal is fixed and connected, and what is called a box type in which the lead terminal is directly connected.

In a preferred embodiment of the method for manufacturing a terminal block according to the present invention, the diameter expansion means may be high spin caulking.

According to this embodiment, even if the nut member is made of a material having poor malleability, the diameter of the protruding portion can be increased, and there is an effect that the range of material selection is widened. For example, brass, phosphor bronze, or the like can be used as a material for the nut member. However, in the present invention, the diameter expanding means may be press working. For example, if a material such as copper is selected, the diameter can be expanded without being adversely affected by cracks in the diameter-expanded portion even in press working.

In a preferred embodiment of the method for manufacturing the terminal block according to the present invention, the volume of the countersunk portion of the housing member may be larger than the volume of the protruding portion of the nut member.

According to this embodiment, as a result of less rising of the upper surface of the terminal block including the female screw portion, the entire surface of the upper plate becomes a flat surface, and the crimp terminal can be fixed more and more unsteadily.

A terminal block according to another aspect of the present invention is manufactured by the method for manufacturing a terminal block according to the present invention.

In a preferred embodiment of the terminal block according to the present invention, the terminal block may be provided with a press-fit pin erected downward from the lower end surface on the lower end surface of the side plate of the housing member. .

The press-fit pin can achieve electrical contact with the fixed terminal only by pressing the press-fit pin into a through hole such as a printed wiring board. Therefore, the terminal block concerning this embodiment is especially preferable as a terminal block mounted on a printed wiring board. But in the terminal block concerning this invention, you may have a needle-like pin as a pin for printed wiring boards. In this case, reliable electrical connection is achieved by soldering or the like.

The printed wiring board with a terminal block according to another aspect of the present invention is a printed wiring board with a terminal block in which the terminal block is mounted on the printed wiring board in order to connect the lead pattern and the lead wire pattern of the printed wiring board. The terminal block according to the present invention is mounted on the printed wiring board.

An electronic device according to another aspect of the present invention is an electronic device including the printed wiring board with a terminal block according to the present invention.

The present invention described above, preferred embodiments of the present invention, and components included in these can be implemented in combination as much as possible.

According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, since the diameter expanding means is employed for the connection between the nut portion and the housing portion, a terminal block in which the electrical connection between the nut member and the housing member is ensured can be obtained. Moreover, even when the upper surface of the female screw part is flat and the crimp terminal is connected to the upper surface, the fixing state of the crimp terminal and the housing part is stabilized, and at the same time, the electrical connection between the crimp terminal and the housing part is ensured. A terminal block can be obtained. Furthermore, since the meat stealing portion is formed in the countersunk portion of the housing member, a deformed part derived from the protruding portion enters the meat stealing portion when the diameter is expanded, and a terminal block in which the idling of the nut member is prevented can be obtained.

Further, the nut member has a stepped portion, and the compressive force due to the terminal screw tightening is received by the stepped portion and the lower surface of the housing member, both of which have little residual stress, so that when the terminal screw is screwed and tightened, the housing It is possible to obtain a terminal block that works in the direction of strengthening the fixing state of the member and the nut member. Further, the vertical dimension of the nut member is not practically limited, and it is possible to obtain a terminal block in which the number of turns of the female thread portion can be set to an appropriate number according to the design strength.

The terminal block according to the present invention is a terminal block that exhibits the effects described above.

The printed wiring board according to the present invention improves the reliability of electrical connection and mechanical fixation. Similarly, the electronic device according to the present invention improves the reliability of electrical connection and mechanical fixation.

Hereinafter, a terminal block manufacturing method, a terminal block, a printed wiring board, and an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be further described with reference to the drawings. The dimensions, materials, shapes, relative positions, etc. of the members and parts described in the embodiments of the present invention are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention only to those unless otherwise specified. It is just an illustrative example.

FIG. 1 is an exploded explanatory view of a terminal block 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention and a printed wiring board 70 on which the terminal block 1 is mounted.

The terminal block 1 has an upper plate 21 and side plates 22. Two side plates 22 are erected downward from the upper plate 21 at the side end of the upper plate 21. A female screw portion 6 is attached to the center portion of the upper plate 21. The female screw portion 6 is hollow, and a screw is screwed on the inner wall surface. A press-fit pin 37 is erected on the lower end surface of the two side plates 22 from the lower end surface downward.

The printed wiring board 70 has a through hole 71. Press-fit pins 37 are press-fitted into the through holes 71, and the terminal block 1 is mounted on the printed wiring board 70. For example, the through hole 71 is electrically connected to the ground wiring portion of the printed wiring board 70, and the terminal block 1 relays the connection of the ground wiring. The printed wiring board can be a copper-clad laminate for printed wiring boards in which a copper foil is formed on a glass cloth base epoxy resin, a glass cloth base polyimide resin, or the like. There may be.

The lead wire 12 has a round terminal 13 as a crimp terminal attached to the tip. By passing the terminal screw 11 through the through hole at the tip of the round terminal 13 and tightening the terminal screw 11 to the female screw portion 6, the through hole 71 and the lead terminal 12 are electrically connected.

As the printed wiring board on which the terminal block is mounted, for example, a printed wiring board for computers can be cited. Such a printed wiring board is housed in a housing to produce an electronic device such as a computer.

The press fit pin 37 is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-92999. To summarize the shape of the press-fit pin, the center portion bulges outward and is a hollow shape that can be repeatedly pressed inward. However, the press-fit pin does not necessarily have a hollow shape, and may be any shape that can be pressed inward and bulged and can be press-fitted into the through hole. For example, it may be a pin bent in a cross-section “<” shape.

If a press-fit pin is employed for the terminal block 1, the mounting work on the printed wiring board is simplified. Moreover, it is not necessary to perform soldering, which is convenient from the viewpoint of environment.

The terminal block 1 has a crimp terminal connected to a lead wire, and the crimp terminal is fixed and connected.

The terminal block according to the present invention may be a so-called box type in which lead terminals are directly connected. FIG. 2 is a partially exploded perspective view illustrating the terminal block 2 according to the embodiment of the present invention.

The terminal block 2 has an upper plate 21 and side plates 22. Two side plates 22 are erected downward from the upper plate 21 at the side end of the upper plate 21. A female screw portion 6 is attached to the center portion of the upper plate 21. The female screw portion 6 is hollow, and a screw is screwed on the inner wall surface. A connecting portion 83 extends from one side plate 22. A through hole 84 is formed in the connection portion 83.

In addition, a fixed terminal plate 90 is provided, and a through hole 92 is formed in the fixed terminal plate 90. The fixed terminal plate 90 is fixed by passing a screw (not shown) through the through hole 92 and the through hole 84 and screwing into a screw hole (not shown) provided below the connection portion 83. The fixed wire 93 is connected to the fixed position 91 of the fixed terminal plate 90 by appropriate means such as soldering or spot welding.

The fixed plate 82 and the moving plate 81 are sandwiched between the pair of side plates 22. The moving plate 81 contacts the lower tip of the terminal screw 11. When the lead wire 12 is positioned between the fixed plate 82 and the moving plate 81 and the terminal screw 11 is tightened, the moving plate 81 moves downward, and the lead wire 12 is sandwiched between the fixed plate 82 and the moving plate 81 and fixedly connected. The box-type terminal block according to the present invention may be mounted on a printed wiring board by installing a press-fit pin or the like at an appropriate position such as a side plate or a connection plate. Alternatively, a crimp terminal may be attached to both the fixed wire and the lead wire, and two crimp terminals may be stacked and tightened with a terminal screw.

Then, the manufacturing method of a terminal block is demonstrated. The housing member 20 and the nut member 40 are prepared. 3A is a partial cross-sectional view of the housing member 20, FIG. 3B is a plan view of the receiving hole 25 of the housing member 20, and FIG. 4A is a partial cross-sectional view of the nut member 40. FIG. 4B is a plan view of the nut member 40.

Referring to FIG. 3, the housing member 20 includes an upper plate 21 and a pair of side plates 22 erected downward from the upper plate 21. A receiving hole 25 having a circular cross section is formed in the upper plate 20. A counterbore 27 is formed on the peripheral wall of the receiving hole. The counterbore 27 has a tapered shape, and the diameter d32 of the upper end surface is larger than the diameter d33 of the lower end surface. The countersunk portion may be stepped or the cross section may be curved.

A meat stealing portion 31 is provided by cutting off a part of the peripheral wall forming the counterbore portion 27. Although the meat stealing part 31 may be single or plural, it is preferable to provide three meat stealing parts 31 having a positional relationship of 120 ° with respect to each other as in this embodiment.

The housing member 20 may be made of, for example, phosphor bronze.

Referring to FIG. 4, the nut member 40 includes a column portion 41 and a protruding portion 51. The column portion 41 is hollow, and a screw 46 is screwed on the inner wall surface of the hollow portion 42. The outer shape of the column portion 41 is a columnar shape, and the diameter d44 of the upper end surface outer circumference circle (equal to the circumscribed circle of the upper end surface) is larger than the diameter d33 of the counterbore portion lower end surface of the housing member 20.

The outer shape of the column portion 41 may be a hexagonal column shape, a square column shape, or the like. In these cases, the diameter of the circumscribed circle at the upper end surface of the column portion is larger than the diameter d33 of the lower end surface of the countersunk portion.

A projecting portion 51 having a circular wall shape is formed on the upper end surface of the column portion 41. The protruding portion 51 rises from a position away from the outer peripheral contour line of the upper end surface of the column portion 41 by a certain distance (s47), and forms a rising portion 52. The constant distance (s47) is, for example, 0.8 mm.

The upper end surface from the outer peripheral contour line of the upper end surface of the column portion 41 to the rising portion 52 forms a stepped portion 45. The inner wall surface 53 in the vicinity of the upper end of the protruding portion 53 is formed in a taper shape, facilitating the work of the diameter expansion process described later.

The nut member 40 may be made of, for example, brass, aluminum, phosphor bronze, copper, iron or the like.

Subsequently, the housing member 20 and the nut member 40 are fixed by applying a diameter expanding means. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view for explaining the application of the diameter expanding means using the high spin caulking device.

The projecting portion 51 of the nut member 40 is fitted into the receiving hole 25 of the housing member 20 from below, and the lower surface of the upper plate of the housing member and the gap portion 45 of the nut member are brought into contact with each other. In this state, the tip of the contact member 61 of the high spin caulking device is sequentially pressed against each part of the protruding portion 51 to perform caulking and molding. The diameter of the protruding portion is increased by the process using the high spin caulking device, and the material derived from the protruding portion is filled in the countersink portion. At the same time, the meat stealing portion 31 is filled with the deformed material derived from the protruding portion. Thereby, the housing member 20 and the nut member 40 are fixed, and a terminal block is completed.

It is preferable to use a high spin caulking apparatus because even if a material having poor malleability (for example, brass) is used, there is no accident such as cracking and the diameter can be expanded. However, the diameter expanding means may be press working.

If the volume of the countersunk part is made larger than the volume of the protruding part, it is preferable that all the meat forming the protruding part is accommodated in the countersink part and the upper surface is prevented from rising. Most preferably, the volume of the countersunk portion and the volume of the protruding portion are made equal to eliminate the unevenness of the finished terminal block upper plate.

However, even if the volume of the protruding part is larger than the volume of the countersink part and rises due to the diameter expansion, it is possible to apply a cutting process or the like to flatten the upper surface. It is included in the technical scope of the present invention.
