前記第1の基板上に画素電極を形成し、
前記第2の基板上に対向電極を形成し、
前記第2の基板上にシール材を描画して仮固定し、
前記第2の基板上における前記シール材に囲まれた領域に液晶材料とシランカップリング剤を含む混合物を滴下し、
減圧下で前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板とを貼り合わせ、
前記シール材を固定することを特徴とする液晶表示装置の作製方法。
