Abstract
【解決手段】第1の入力導波路51aと複数の第2の出力導波路55bとに接続された第1スラブ導波路52と、複数の第1の出力導波路55aと第2の入力導波路51bとに接続された第2スラブ導波路54と、第1スラブ導波路52と第2スラブ導波路54との間を接続するアレイ導波路53とを備え、入力導波路51a,51bは、波長に応じた間隔xで接続された一連の複数の第2の出力導波路55a,55bのうち、最も外側の第2の出力導波路と1.5xの間隔をおいてスラブ導波路52,54と接続されている。

Description
図5に、本発明の一実施形態にかかるAWG回路の構成を示す。AWG回路50は、入力導波路51aと出力導波路55bとに接続された第1スラブ導波路52と、出力導波路55aと入力導波路51bとに接続された第2スラブ導波路54と、第1スラブ導波路52および第2スラブ導波路54の間を接続するアレイ導波路53とから構成されている。本実施形態では、1本の入力導波路を、一連の出力導波路の列の外側に配置する。図5に向かって、入力導波路51aを上側に、出力導波路55bを下側にして、第1スラブ導波路52と接続しているが、出力導波路55bを上側に、入力導波路51aを下側にして、第1スラブ導波路52と接続してもよい。

Claims (3)
- 一方の面において、第1の入力導波路と複数の第2の出力導波路とに接続された第1スラブ導波路と、
一方の面において、複数の第1の出力導波路と第2の入力導波路とに接続された第2スラブ導波路と、
前記第1スラブ導波路の一方の面と対向する他方の面と、前記第2スラブ導波路の一方の面と対向する他方の面との間を接続するアレイ導波路とを備え、
前記第1の入力導波路は、波長に応じた第1の間隔で一方の面に接続された一連の前記複数の第2の出力導波路のうち、最も外側の第2の出力導波路と第2の間隔をおいて前記第1スラブ導波路と接続され、
前記第2の入力導波路は、波長に応じた第1の間隔で一方の面に接続された一連の前記複数の第1の出力導波路のうち、最も外側の第1の出力導波路と第2の間隔をおいて前記第2スラブ導波路と接続されていることを特徴とするアレイ導波路格子回路。 - 前記第2の間隔は、前記第1の間隔の整数倍に前記第1の間隔の半分を加えた間隔であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアレイ導波路格子回路。
- 前記第2の間隔は、前記第1の間隔の1.5倍の間隔であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアレイ導波路格子回路。
