Abstract
【解決手段】マイクロビーズの製造方法は、固体形成性A液と、該固体形成性A液と接触すると固体を生成する固体形成性B液とを混合してマイクロビーズを製造する方法であって、前記固体形成性A液の液滴を、インクジェット法により、前記固体形成性B液の外部から前記固体形成性B液に噴射することによりマイクロビーズを生成させることを含む。

Claims (14)
- 固体形成性A液と、該固体形成性A液と接触すると固体を生成する固体形成性B液とを混合してマイクロビーズを製造する方法であって、前記固体形成性A液の液滴を、インクジェット法により、前記固体形成性B液の外部から前記固体形成性B液に噴射することによりマイクロビーズを生成させることを含む、マイクロビーズの製造方法。
- 前記A液及びB液が、ゲル形成性である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記A液とB液の組合せが、(1)アルギン酸塩水溶液とアルカリ土類金属塩水溶液、(2)トロンビン水溶液、フィブリノーゲン水溶液とカルシウム塩水溶液及び (3)ホウ酸水溶液とポリビニルアルコール水溶液の組合せから成る群より選ばれる請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記マイクロビーズが、直径10μm〜40μmの球状である請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記B液の厚さを小さくすることにより円盤状のマイクロビーズを生成させる、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記円盤状のマイクロビーズの直径が10〜40μmであり、厚さが直径の10%〜50%である請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記A液を、複数のインクジェットノズルから同時に前記B液に噴射する請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- マイクロビーズ内に封入すべき所望の物質を前記A液及びB液の少なくともいずれかに溶解又は懸濁しておき、それによって該物質を内部に封入したマイクロビーズを生成させる請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記物質が、細胞、微粒子及び薬剤から成る群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記A液が、複数のインクジェットノズルから同時に前記B液に噴射され、かつ、異なる種類の前記物質を含む複数種類のA液が、それぞれ異なるインクジェットノズルから同時に噴射される請求項8又は9記載の方法。
- 円盤状のマイクロビーズ。
- 直径が10〜40μmであり、厚さが直径の10%〜50%である請求項11記載のマイクロビーズ。
- 内部に封入された物質を含む請求項11又は12記載のマイクロビーズ。
- 前記物質が、細胞、微粒子及び薬剤から成る群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項13記載のマイクロビーズ。
