Abstract
【解決手段】固体放射線源体1は、略円板状を為すコイン状を呈する固体線源部2と、該固体線源部2の全体を被覆するようにして形成され、固体線源部2を補強するための機能を有する樹脂補強部3とによって主に構成されている。そして、固体線源部2が法上の規制物質ではなく、また比較的容易に入手可能なものであり、かつ極微量の自然放射能を有する塩化カリウム粉末4を圧縮して成型することによって構成されるため、放射線関連施設以外の一般の施設においても中高生等を対象とした放射線安全教育や実習などを実施することができるようになる。

Claims (4)
- 微量の自然放射能を有する自然放射能含有材料を圧縮成型してなる固体線源部を具備することを特徴とする固体放射線源体。
- 圧縮成型した前記固体線源部を補強する補強手段をさらに具備することを特徴とする固体放射線源体。
- 前記補強手段は、
前記固体線源部の周囲の少なくとも一部を硬化性樹脂によって被覆した樹脂補強部によって構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の固体放射線源体。 - 前記自然放射能含有材料は、
粉末状或いは細粒状の塩化カリウム、モナザイト鉱石、湯の華、肥料、海藻類、及び土壌類の少なくともいずれか一つを利用することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一つに記載の固体放射線源体。
