Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a semiconductor or liquid crystal display transfer robot, and more particularly to a transmission belt used in the robot.
。 In a semiconductor or liquid crystal display manufacturing process, various vacuum processes such as film formation, sputtering, and etching are performed. This type of vacuum processing apparatus requires a transfer device that transfers, for example, a semiconductor wafer in a vacuum chamber. In addition to having a structure that can withstand each component of the transfer robot under high vacuum temperatures, dust generation and outgassing can be achieved. It is required to have a material and a structure that are difficult to generate (for example, Patent Document 1).
By the way, since the chloroprene rubber and the thermoplastic urethane belt have been used in the conventional transmission belt of the transfer robot, the following problems have occurred when it is used in the above process.
(For chloroprene rubber belt)
In this belt, since an anti-aging agent and a plasticizer are used, outgas is generated with the passage of time, and the vacuum degree in the vacuum chamber does not reach a predetermined level, and the semiconductor wafer is contaminated.
(In case of thermoplastic urethane belt)
Since this belt does not have heat resistance, there arises a problem that the belt itself is softened and cannot be used where the temperature reaches 80 ° C. or higher (the temperature in the vacuum chamber reaches 100 ° C. or higher).
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a transmission belt that has less outgas and excellent heat resistance.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a transmission belt that has less outgassing and has excellent heat resistance while ensuring the conventional life.

[Invention of Claim 2]
The transmission belt according to the present invention relates to the invention described in claim 1 above, and 4 to 24 parts by weight of an internally added adhesive is blended with 100 parts by weight of the rubber composition.

In the transmission belt B, as shown in FIG. 1, the tooth portions 2 and the tooth bottom portions 3 are alternately formed integrally along the longitudinal direction of one surface of the plate-like belt body 1, and the tooth portions 2 and the tooth bottom portions 3 are formed. The surface is covered with a canvas 4 and a plurality of core wires 5 extending in the belt longitudinal direction are embedded in the belt body 1.
The transmission belt B is formed using, for example, a vulcanizing can. Specifically, on the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical mold having a tooth forming groove, (1) a canvas jacket that becomes the canvas 4; (2) A part of the belt body 1, a tooth part 2 and a tooth bottom part 3 A rubber plate to be the belt body 1, (3) a core wire 5, (4) a rubber plate to be a part of the belt body 1 It is molded by pressing from the outside toward the mold by a shell bag while maintaining the heated state. Since this manufacturing method is a well-known technique, it will not be described in detail.
(About belt body 1, tooth part 2, and tooth bottom part 3)
The belt body 1, the tooth portion 2 and the tooth bottom portion 3 are constituted by blending the following a to e with 100 parts by weight of a rubber composition (FKM polymer) which is a fluoro rubber.
a. FT carbon: 40 parts by weight b. Zinc oxide: 5 parts by weight c. Triallyl isocyanurate: 2 parts by weight d. Internal adhesive: 4 parts by weight e. Peroxide (powder vulcanizing agent): 3 parts by weight “contents related to fluoro rubber”
The general name is vinylidene fluoride-4 fluoroethylene-perfluoromethyl vinyl ether copolymer rubber, which has high heat resistance and oil resistance. For example, “Viton VTR 8500 (trade name)” manufactured by DuPont Co., Ltd. can be used. In addition, it is preferable that the hardness of this rubber composition is the range of DURO85-95A at normal temperature.
“Contents about FT Carbon”
FT carbon is used as a reinforcing agent.
Compared to the average particle size (60 to 90 nm) of carbon black (SRF carbon) manufactured by the SRF method that has been blended with conventional fluororubber, it was manufactured by the FT method having a large average particle size (90 to 210 nm). By blending carbon black (FT carbon), the internal heat generation is reduced and the heat resistance of the transmission belt is improved.
Further, since the average particle size is large, the dispersibility is good, and the fluororubber can be filled in a large amount. Even if time elapses, there is an effect as an outgas.
"Contents related to zinc oxide"
Zinc oxide is used as a vulcanization acceleration aid, but also has an effect as a reinforcing agent in the same manner as FT carbon.
"Contents about triallyl isocyanurate"
Triallyl isocyanurate is used as a vulcanization aid.
As this triallyl isocyanurate, for example, TAIC (trade name) manufactured by Nippon Kasei Co., Ltd. can be used.
"Contents concerning internal adhesives"
The internally added adhesive improves the adhesion between the belt body 1 and the core wire 5 and the adhesion between the formation surface of the tooth portion 2 and the tooth bottom portion 3 and the canvas 4, and specifically, a maleic acid-modified liquid. Polybutadiene (for example, “Ricobond 173IHS (trade name)” manufactured by RICON RESINS Co., Ltd.) can be used. In addition, maleic anhydride-modified liquid polybutadiene, maleic acid-modified liquid polybutadiene, acrylic acid-modified liquid polybutadiene, urethane-modified liquid polybutadiene, carboxylic-modified liquid polybutadiene, maleic acid-modified liquid polyisoprene, and the like can be used.
"Peroxide content"
Peroxide is used as a vulcanizing agent. For example, “Peroximon F-40 (trade name)” manufactured by Nippon Oil & Fats Co., Ltd. can be used.
(About canvas 4)
The canvas 4 is made of aramid (containing nylon and urethane) and is subjected to RFL treatment, and carboxylated modified hydrogenated NBR is adopted as latex. Therefore, this canvas 4 has good adhesion to fluororubber.
(About core 5)
This core wire 5 is a high strength glass core wire having a filament elastic modulus of 80 to 110 GPa formed by RFL treatment before twisting, and the subsequent overcoat treatment is performed using an epoxy-based treatment agent (containing metal oxide) and phenol. This is done with a mixture of resin-based treatment agents. Therefore, this core wire 5 has good adhesiveness with fluororubber. Other steel core wires and aramid core wires can also be used. Furthermore, when high responsiveness and stopping accuracy are required, a carbon core wire having a modulus of elasticity of 200 to 300 GPa of the material constituting the core wire can also be used.
(About the excellent effect of this transmission belt B)
Since this transmission belt B is configured as described above, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) In this transmission belt B, the main body 1, the tooth part 2 and the tooth bottom part 3 are made of fluororubber as a rubber composition, so that they have excellent heat resistance, and the belt itself can be used even at a high temperature of 150 ° C. It can be used without deteriorating.
(2) The main body 1, tooth portion 2 and tooth bottom portion 3 in this transmission belt B are made of a rubber composition which is a fluoro rubber, FT carbon (reinforcing agent), zinc oxide (vulcanization accelerating aid), triallyl isocyanurate. (Liquid Vulcanizing Aid) and the like are blended, and outgas (siloxane, hexane, silica) having a large influence is not generated in the production of semiconductors and liquid crystal displays. With respect to the canvas 4 and the core wire 5 as well, the outgas having a great influence is not generated in the manufacture of semiconductors and liquid crystal displays.
When this transmission belt B is used, it is difficult to cause a decrease in the degree of vacuum in the vacuum chamber.
(3) Since the rubber composition constituting the main body 1, the tooth part 2 and the tooth bottom part 3 is made of fluoro rubber, it is considered that the adhesion with the canvas 4 and the core wire 5 is not good. Adhesiveness with the canvas 4 and the core wire 5 is enhanced by blending an internally added adhesive.
Moreover, since the canvas 4 employs carboxylated modified hydrogenated NBR for the latex in the treatment liquid used for the RFL treatment, the canvas 4 has good adhesion to fluoro rubber.
Further, in this core wire 5, since the epoxy coating agent (containing metal oxide) and the phenol resin processing agent are mixed in the overcoat treatment after the RFL treatment, the core wire 5 is made of fluororubber. Adhesion with is good.
Therefore, the adhesiveness among the main body 1, the tooth portion 2, the tooth bottom portion 3, the canvas 4, and the core wire 5 is excellent, the function as the transmission belt B can be sufficiently exhibited, and the belt life is also sufficient.
(4) Glass core wire formed by RFL treatment before twisting In this transmission belt B, the core wire 5 is a high-strength glass core wire, so that the positioning accuracy is excellent.
(5) From what was shown in (1) to (4) above,
According to this transmission belt, it has a long service life, has low outgas, is excellent in heat resistance, and has excellent dimensional stability, so it can be applied to transfer robots that require high positioning accuracy under high vacuum temperatures. Obviously you can.
