Abstract
【解決手段】ダイおよびダイ本体は材料の流路中に圧力を調整する可変な障害物を備え、この障害物は材料がダイに入るときに材料に加わる圧力を制御し、材料の温度を制御する。圧力および温度を最適化することによってフラッシュ乾燥プロセスを最適化することができる。
Description
本発明の対象は、ゴム材料を水と一緒にし、その後に直ちに水を除去するエラストマー(合成および天然のエラストマーを含む)の加工工程(sequence)にある。
各種の押出し−エキスパンダ方法が開発されてきたが、以下に示す本発明の望ましい特徴を全て一般的に包んだ装置はなかった。
本発明者は従来法の上記課題を解決した合成エラストマー材料の改良された乾燥方法を開発した。
本発明の別の実施例ではダイの設定を変えるためにエキスパンダを停止しなくても製造プロセス中の粉末の寸法を調節することができる方法および装置が提供される。
一つの例示的な形状では、調節スリーブ220を合計5回完全に回転した時にフィルタースクリーン240は略閉位置(すなわちゼロ開口)からほぼ完全開口位置(すなわち100%開口)まで移動するようにダイ本体のネジ206と調節スリーブのネジ226とを形成することができる。本発明の可変ダイの通常運転では上記の「ゼロ開口」および「100%開口」を定義することで通常運転範囲は5%開口〜95%開口になる。
Claims (23)
- 内側部分と外側部分とを有するダイ本体と、内側部分と外側部分とを有する調節スリーブと、この調節スリーブ内に固定され且つ上記ダイ本体に対して移動可能な、ダイを通る材料に加わる圧力を動的に制御可能するためのフィルタースクリーンとを含む可変ダイ組立体。
- ダイ本体の外側部分の少なくとも一部と調節スリーブの内側部分の一部が円筒形で且つ互いに対応するネジが付けられている請求項1に記載の可変ダイ組立体。
- フィルタースクリーンが外側表面と内側表面とを有し、内側表面をダイ本体の端部に向けた状態で調節スリーブ内に固定され、フィルタースクリーンの内側表面とダイ本体の端部とが互いに当接面を有する請求項1に記載の可変ダイ組立体。
- 上記の当接面が截頭台形である請求項3に記載の可変ダイ組立体。
- 調節スリーブの外側表面の一部に取り付けられた歯車をさらに有し、ダイ本体に対して調節スリーブを移動させてフィルタースクリーンを通る材料に加わる圧力を動的に制御する請求項1に記載の可変ダイ組立体。
- 上記歯車がリングギアである請求項5に記載の可変ダイ組立体。
- フィルタースクリーンがその外側表面から内側表面へ向かって貫通した所定数の貫通孔と、内側表面に外接し且つ上記貫通穴と連通したチャンネルとをさらに有する請求項1に記載の可変ダイ組立体。
- フィルタースクリーンが調節スリーブの端部に螺合されている請求項1に記載の可変ダイ組立体。
- ダイ本体と、調節スリーブと、フィルタースクリーンとを含む動的に調節可能なダイ組立体を設ける段階と、このダイ組立体に乾燥すべき材料を通す段階とを含むことを特徴とする材料をフラッシュ乾燥する方法。
- 動的に調節可能なダイ組立体を設ける段階が、複数のフラッシュ管路と各フラッシュ管路と連通した1つの乱流チャンネルとを有するフィルタースクリーンを設ける段階を含む請求項9に記載の方法。
- 動的に調節可能なダイ組立体を設ける段階が、フィルタースクリーンとダイ本体の一部との間に可変に調節可能な障害物を設ける段階をさらに含む請求項9に記載の方法。
- 可変に調節可能な障害物を設ける段階が、フィルタースクリーンの内側表面に突出部を設け、ダイ本体の一部に当接面を設ける段階を含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 突出部を設ける段階が截頭台形の突出部を設ける段階を含む請求項12に記載の方法。
- フィルタースクリーンと、ダイ本体と、ダイとダイ本体との間の動的に可変な圧力調節器とを含む動的に調節可能なダイ組立体を設ける段階と、材料をダイ本体、動的に可変な圧力調節器およびフィルタースクリーンに制御可能な流量で通す段階と、制御可能な流量および圧力調節器を変更する段階とを含み、制御可能な流量および圧力調節器を調節することによって材料に加わる圧力および材料内で発生する圧力と温度を最適制御することを特徴とする材料のフラッシュ乾燥を最適化する方法。
- 動的に調節可能なダイ組立体を設ける段階が、フィルタースクリーンの一部およびダイ本体の一部に当接面を設ける段階をさらに含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 動的に調節可能なダイ組立体を設ける段階が、フィルタースクリーンの一部およびダイ本体の一部に截頭台形の当接面を設ける段階をさらに含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- フィルタースクリーンに複数のフラッシュ管路を設ける段階と、複数のフラッシュ管路を連通させる乱流チャンネルを設ける段階とをさらに含み、材料がダイ本体、圧力調節器、乱流チャンネルおよびフラッシュ管路の中を続けて流れるときに乱流チャンネル内で材料の第1回目のフラッシュ乾燥が起こり、材料の第2回目のフラッシュ乾燥がフラッシュ管路中で起こる請求項14に記載の方法。
- 動的に調節可能なダイ組立体を設ける段階が、ダイ本体および調節スリーブに整合ネジ部を設ける段階をさらに含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- ダイ本体の第1端に沿って位置する第1表面を規定するダイ本体と、第2表面を規定する内側を有し、第1表面および第2表面がダイ組立体の運転中に混合物の流路を規定する、ダイ本体の第1端の最も近くに配置されたダイと、ダイをダイ本体に対して相対移動させてダイ組立体の運転中に流路の寸法の調節を可能にするダイおよびダイ本体と機械的に連通した調節要素とを含む、混合物から液体を除去するのに用いる調節可能なダイ組立体。
- 上記の第1表面および第2表面の形状が截頭台形である請求項20に記載の調節可能なダイ組立体。
- ダイが調節要素に着脱自在に取り付けられている請求項21に記載の調節可能なダイ組立体。
- ダイ本体が調節要素に着脱自在に取り付けられている請求項22に記載の調節可能なダイ組立体。
