Description
Claims (12)
- ワークピースの表面に取付けられるように構成され、軌道部材と、この軌道部材の長手方向に沿って支持されたラック部材とを備え、移動経路を規定している少なくとも1つの軌道部と、
この軌道部に沿って乗り、この軌道部によって誘導および支持されるように構成されている切削台アセンブリと、
前記切削台アセンブリと駆動可能に係合して、この切削台アセンブリを前記軌道部に沿って駆動する切削台駆動機構と、
長軸の周りで回転され、ワークピースをその壁の厚さ方向にわたって切断するために、この回転軸に沿っても回転軸に対して横方向にも送られるようにされている切断ツールを備え、前記切削台アセンブリに保持されている切断ツールアセンブリと、
前記切断ツールに接続されて、この切断ツールに回転入力動作を伝えるようにされているツール駆動システムとを具備している切断ツールおよび軌道システム。 - 前記軌道部は、
前記軌道部材の底面に接続されていて、ワークピースに取付けられるように構成されている少なくとも2つの支持部を有し、
これら2つの支持部の各々は、ワークピース上に支持される取付け部材に取付けられるように構成されている、請求項1の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。 - 前記取付け部材の各々は、ワークピース上に支持されるマウントプレートと、このマウントプレートから延びている複数のスタッドとを有しており、前記支持部は、取付け部材のこれらスタッドを受けてスタッドに固定させるように構成および配置されている、請求項2の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。
- 前記取付け部材は、ワークピース上に支持されるスタッドであり、前記支持部は、これらスタッドを受けてスタッドに固定させるように構成および配置されている、請求項2の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。
- 前記切削台アセンブリは、
前記切断ツールアセンブリを保持するように構成され、少なくとも2つのねじ穴が穿孔されている切削台デッキと、
この切削台デッキのねじ穴によって受けられ保持される少なくとも2つの調節可能な軸受けアセンブリとを有しており、
この支持アセンブリの各々は、ねじ穴の一方と動作可能に係合するように位置されたねじ付きスリーブ部材を通って延びている1つのピン部材と、複数の円錐状圧縮ばねとを備え、前記ピン部材の先端部が、軸受けと係合し、この軸受けアセンブリは、前記スリーブ部材と係合する保持ナットを有し、切削台に対して位置付け可能にされている、請求項1の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。 - 前記切削台アセンブリは、カム構成物を更に有しており、このカム構成物は、
前記切削台デッキに固定され、前記軌道部材に沿ってこの上に乗るように構成されている複数のカム従動子と、
前記切削台デッキに調節可能に取付けられ、前記軌道部材に対して位置決めされるように構成されている少なくとも2つの調節可能なカム従動子とを有している、請求項4の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。 - 互いに直交するように向けられた第1および第2のプレート部を備えたアングルプレートを更に具備し、このアングルプレートは、第1のプレート部に沿って切断ツールアセンブリを支持し、第2のプレート部で前記切削台アセンブリに支持されるように構成されている、請求項1の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。
- 送りアセンブリを更に具備し、この送りアセンブリは、
上側孔を有し、前記切断ツールアセンブリに接続するように構成されており、前記上側孔内にラチェットアセンブリが位置されている、上側プレートと、
下側孔を有し、前記アングルプレートの第1のプレート部に接続するように構成されており、前記下側孔内に送りナットが位置されている、下側プレートと、
前記ラチェットアセンブリと係合している上側孔を通って延び、下側孔の送りナットと係合している送りねじと、
この送りねじに取付けられており、送りねじを回転させて、アングルプレートに対して前記切断ツールアセンブリのスピンドルを線形に変位させるように操作可能であるレバーとを有している、請求項1の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。 - 前記軌道部は、少なくとも2つ設けられ、ワークピース上に互いに端と端を接するように組立てられて連続的な移動経路を形成するように構成されている、請求項1の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。
- 前記切断ツールは、エンドミルである、請求項1の切断ツールおよび軌道システム。
- ツールの長軸の周りで回転するように駆動されるエンドミルを回転可能に支持し、所定の移動経路に沿ってこの回転軸に対して横方向にワークピースの中心軸の周りでその切断平面内を動かすために設けられている少なくとも1つの切断ツールアセンブリを使用して中空のワークピースを切断する方法であり、
前記エンドミルを回転させ、このエンドミルをこの回転軸に沿ってワークピースの壁の厚さ方向の少なくとも一部にわたって送ることと、
切断ツールアセンブリを移動経路に沿って移動させて、ワークピースを切断することとを具備している方法。 - 最初に、前記エンドミルが、ワークピースの壁の厚さ全体にわたって壁の厚さ全体を切断するように駆動され、次に、前記切断ツールアセンブリが、移動経路に沿って動かされる、請求項11の方法。
