Abstract
Description
本発明は、電気自動車や電気自転車等に使用される電池モジュールまたはパックに関し、より詳しくは、電池外部ケースがアルミニウムラミネートフィルム(Al Laminated Film)からなる単位リチウム二次電池が直列接続されたリチウム二次電池モジュールに関する。
最近、周知の如く、電気自動車は、現状において主流をなしている内燃機関装着車両の諸問題点のうちの環境問題を根本的に解決することができる自動車として排気ガスの発生がないということがその特徴である。即ち、前記したように、電気自動車は、車両の推進力を従来のように燃料の燃焼作用により得ることではなく、電池から提供される電力による推進力を得るものであるため、排気ガスの発生がないのである。従って、電気自動車においてその走行に必要とされる力を提供するための電池は必須とされており、ガソリン自動車と同様の充分な走行距離及び動力性能を有するためには、電池の性能が何より重要である。
以下、添付した図面を参照して本発明の好適な実施例を詳細に説明する。
単位リチウム二次電池の例が、図1a及び図1bに示されている。
金属性ブロックの一実施例が図2bに示されている。
このようなリチウム二次電池モジュールの組立状態が、図3に示されている。
まず、複数の単位電池を、その陽極端子及び陰極端子が互い違いになるように並ばせる。
Claims (7)
- リチウム二次電池モジュールであって、
一方向に並んで突出し、それぞれ孔が形成された陽極端子と陰極端子を有し、これらの端子が互い違いに配列される複数の単位リチウム二次電池と;
単位リチウム二次電池の陽極端子と陰極端子のそれぞれを収容し、固定孔が形成された開放形凹部を有する非金属性単位収容モジュールを複数連結してなる収容モジュールと;
単位収容モジュールの各凹部内に配置された単位電池の陽極端子と陰極端子の少なくとも一つに接触するように配置され、固定孔と外部に突出した折曲形接触プレートを備えた金属性ブロックと;
前記収容モジュールに対応する形状を有し収容モジュール上に載置され、収容モジュールの凹部に対応する凹部の一側に前記金属性ブロックの接触プレートに接触する銅配線が形成された配線基板と;
前記収容モジュールの凹部、この凹部に配置される単位電池の陽極端子と陰極端子、これらの端子の少なくとも一つに接触するように配置される金属性ブロックの孔を挿通し固定され、これらの要素を固定させる締付部材と;
を含むことを特徴とするリチウム二次電池モジュール。 - 前記単位電池の陽極端子と陰極端子をそれぞれ収容する金属性ブロックの二つの開放形凹部は、互いに逆向きにして開放されており、隣接する単位金属性ブロックの向かい合う開放形凹部間の結合により一つの収容溝が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池の本体の幅寸法、単位収容モジュールの幅寸法、前記隣接する単位金属性ブロックの開放形凹部間の結合により形成される収容溝の幅寸法は、実質的に同一であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のリチウム二次電池モジュール。
- 前記金属性ブロックは、銅、アルミニウム、銅合金、アルミニウム合金のいずれか一種よりなることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のリチウム二次電池モジュール。
- 前記締付部材は、非金属性ボルト部材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池モジュール。
- 前記金属性ブロックの外部に突出した接触プレートは、配線基板の銅配線に融接されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のリチウム二次電池モジュール。
- 前記金属性ブロックの外部に突出した接触プレートは、配線基板の銅配線にクランプ固定されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のリチウム二次電池モジュール。
