Abstract
Description
本発明は、広範な用途において使用するように構成された、移植可能な脈管プロテーゼに関し、そしてより具体的には、螺旋状セクションおよび少なくとも1つのアンカーセクションを有する、リボン型のプロテーゼに関する。
今日、動脈瘤、狭窄、および他の脈管の異常を処置する際に使用するための、広範な脈管内プロテーゼが市場に存在する。狭窄した脈管を、例えば、血管形成術手順において開存性を回復させるための、バルーンで拡張可能なステントおよび自己拡張型のステントが、周知であり、そして動脈瘤を処置するためのコイルおよびステントの使用は、公知の技術である。
前述のことを考慮して、本発明の目的は、移植可能な脈管プロテーゼに対する装置および方法を提供することである。このプロテーゼは、半径方向に延びる1つ以上のアンカーによって連結された、1つ以上のリボン型のステント本体を備え、ここで、このプロテーゼは、動脈瘤を処置すること、脈管における開存性を維持すること、および薬物を脈管に送達することが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない広範な用途において使用されるように構成される。
本発明は、広範な用途(例えば、動脈瘤を処置すること、脈管の開存性を維持すること、および脈管壁への治療座の制御された送達を可能にすること)のために構成された、移植可能な脈管プロテーゼに関する。このプロテーゼは、他の公知のデバイスより実質的により小さい送達プロフィールを提供し、一方で、治療剤の送達を可能にするために増加した表面積を有する、リボン型の構成を有する。さらに、このプロテーゼは、脈管を優位に再造形することなく、この脈管の壁に適応するように構成され、そしてさらに、展開の間、以前に公知のデバイスと比較して、改善された開存性を提供するように構成される。
Claims (36)
- 身体脈管内への移植のための脈管プロテーゼであって、該脈管プロテーゼは、以下:
複数の巻きならびに第一の端部および第二の端部を備える第一の螺旋状セクションであって、該第一の螺旋状セクションは、経管腔挿入に適切な収縮状態を有する、第一の螺旋状セクション;ならびに
該第一の螺旋状セクションの該第一の端部に連結された第一のアンカーセクションであって、該第一のアンカーセクションは、身体脈管内への経管腔挿入に適した収縮状態、および該第一のアンカーセクションが脈管壁に係合して該第一の螺旋状部分の展開を制御する展開状態を有する、第一のアンカーセクション、
を備える、脈管プロテーゼ。 - 前記第一の螺旋状セクションおよび前記第一のアンカーセクションの各々が、形状記憶材料を含む、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一のアンカーセクションが、自己拡張型である、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一のアンカーセクションが、ほぼジグザグの構成を有する相互接続された複数の細長要素を備える、請求項3に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一のアンカーセクションが、セル構成を備える、請求項3に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一の螺旋状セクションが、前記複数の巻きの固体領域の間に配置された多重の開口部をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記多重の開口部のうちの少なくとも1つが、円形の構成または矩形の構成のうちの1つを備える、請求項6に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記複数の巻きのうちの少なくとも1つの外側表面の一部分に配置された、弾性ポリマーをさらに備える、請求項6に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記複数の巻きのうちの少なくとも1つの一部分が、覆われた領域を備える、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記複数の巻きの固体領域に配置された少なくとも1つの窪みをさらに備え、該窪みが、治療剤を収容するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記複数の巻きの固体領域に配置された少なくとも1つの貫通孔をさらに備え、該貫通孔が、治療剤を収容するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一のアンカーセクションが、近位端および遠位端を有し、該遠位端が、前記展開状態において、該近位端に対して半径方向外向きに付勢されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一のアンカーセクションの前記遠位端が、半径方向外向きかつ近位方向に延びる少なくとも1つの鉤を備える、請求項12に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一の螺旋状セクションが、接合部において前記第一のアンカーセクションに連結されており、該接合部は、該第一のアンカーセクションの近位屈曲部と該第一の螺旋状セクションの遠位巻きとの間に位置する少なくとも1つの伸長支柱をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記接合部が、放射線不透過性マーカーを備える、請求項14に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一の螺旋状セクションの前記第二の端部に接合された、第二のアンカーセクションをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一のアンカーセクションが、前記第一の螺旋状セクションおよび第二のアンカーセクションが展開される前に、前記身体脈管内で展開されるように構成されている、請求項16に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一の螺旋状セクションが、前記第二のアンカーセクションが展開される前であるが前記第一のアンカーセクションが展開された後に展開されるように構成されている、請求項17に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第一の螺旋状セクション、第一のアンカーセクション、および第二のアンカーセクションが、別々に作製され、次いで一緒に連結される、請求項16に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記第二のアンカーセクションに連結された第二の螺旋状セクションをさらに備える、請求項16に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。

- 完全に展開した構成において、前記ねじれ安定化器および前記第一のアンカーセクションが、互いに実質的に平行に配向される、請求項21に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
- 前記ねじれ安定化器が、外向きに付勢されて、前記身体脈管の壁との増加した摩擦接触を提供する、請求項21に記載の脈管プロテーゼ。
