Claims (21)
- 請求項21記載の方法であって、更に、
前記送出した出力電力が前記選択した送出経路を流れているか否か判定を行うステップと、
前記送出した出力電力が前記選択した送出経路を流れていないと判定した場合、出力電力の送出を終了させるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 請求項2記載の方法であって、更に、
出力電力が前記複数の送出経路の各々を流れているか否か判定を行うステップを含む、方法。 - 請求項2記載の方法であって、更に、
電気外科用エネルギが各送出経路を流れているか否か判定するために、前記送出出力電力によって生ずる電流を検知するステップを含む、方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、前記複数の異なる送出経路は、単極電気外科用電力が流れる送出経路と、双極電気外科用電力が流れる送出経路とを含む、方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、前記送出経路の1つは、前記出力リレーを閉にしたときに前記電気外科用出力電力によって生ずる電流を導通させる出力リレーを含み、前記方法は、更に、
前記出力電力の送出のための前記送出経路として、前記出力リレーを含む前記送出経路を選択するステップと、
前記活性化要求に応答して前記出力リレーを閉にするために、前記出力リレーにリレー閉信号を印加するステップと、
前記出力電力を送出した結果として前記出力リレーを含む前記送出経路を通過する電流を検知することによって、前記出力リレーが前記リレー閉信号に応答して閉になったか否か判定を行うステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 請求項5記載の方法であって、更に、
前記リレー閉信号によって、前記出力リレーを含む前記選択した送出経路を、送出した出力電力が流れなかったと判定したときに、出力電力の送出を終了させるステップを含む、方法。 - 請求項6記載の方法であって、更に、
前記出力電力の送出に応答して、前記複数の送出経路の各々を流れる電流を検知するステップと、
前記出力リレーを含む前記選択した送出経路以外のいずれかの送出経路を電流が流れているか否か判定を行うステップと、
前記送出した出力電力が、前記出力リレーを含む前記選択した送出経路以外のいずれかの送出経路を流れていると判定したとき、出力電力の送出を終了させるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 請求項5記載の方法において、前記複数の送出経路の内少なくとも2つは、各々、これらの送出経路の各々と関連する出力リレーの閉の時に前記電気外科用出力電力によって生ずる電流を導通させる出力リレーを含み、前記方法は、更に、
出力リレーが含まれる各送出経路を流れる電流を示す電流検知信号を得るステップと、
各出力リレーに印加されるリレー閉信号の有無が前記電流検知信号との相関を有するか否か判定を行うステップと、
リレー閉信号の有無が、前記送出経路を流れる電流の有無を示す前記電流検知信号との相関を有さないと判定したとき、出力電力の送出を終了させるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 電気外科用発生器からの出力電気外科用電力の送出状態を判定する方法であって、前記電気外科用発生器は複数の送出経路を有し、これらを通じて前記出力電力を送出可能であり、前記方法は、
電気外科用出力電力の送出に対する活性化要求に応答して、前記出力電力を送出するステップと、
前記複数の送出経路から選択した1つを通じて前記出力電力の送出を命令するステップと、
前記出力電力の送出命令に応答して、前記出力電力を送出するステップと、
前記複数の送出経路の各々における出力電力の流れを検知するステップと、
出力電力が流れている前記送出経路が前記選択した1つの送出経路との相関を有するか否か判定を行うステップと、
出力電力が流れていない各送出経路が、出力電力の送出を命令されていない出力経路との相関を有するか否か判定を行うステップと、
前記送出された出力電力が前記選択された送出経路を流れていないと判定したとき、前記出力電力の送出を終了させるステップと、
前記送出された出力電力が、前記選択された1つの送出経路以外のいずれかの送出経路を流れていると判定したとき、前記出力電力の送出を終了させるステップと、
を含む方法。 - 請求項9記載の方法であって、更に、
前記活性化要求に応答して、前記出力電力の送出を命令すべき前記1つの送出経路を選択するステップを含む、方法。 - 請求項10記載の方法において、前記電気外科用発生器は、第1および第2プロセッサを含み、前記方法は、更に、
前記活性化要求に応答して、前記1つの送出経路を選択し、前記選択した1つの経路を通じた前記出力電力の送出を命令する手順を、前記第1プロセッサにおいて実行するステップと、
前記選択した1つの送出経路を通じた前記出力電力の送出コマンドに応答して、更に前記複数の送出経路において検知した電流に応答して、前記命令された送出経路における出力電力の流れと、前記選択した1つの送出経路以外の各送出経路における出力電力の流れの不在との相関を判定する手順を、前記第2プロセッサにおいて実行するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 活性化信号に応答して電気外科用出力電力を送出する電気外科用発生器であって、
イネーブル信号に応答して、前記出力電力を生成するように動作する電気外科用電力生成回路と、
前記電力生成回路に接続され、前記電気外科用発生器から前記出力電力を送出する送出経路と、
前記送出経路内に接続されている選択的制御可能電力流スイッチであって、該電力流スイッチへの電力コマンド信号のアサートに応答して前記送出経路を通じて前記出力電力を導通させ、更に前記電力コマンド信号のディアサートに応答して前記送出経路を通じた前記出力電力の導通を禁止する、選択的制御可能電力流スイッチと、
前記活性化信号を受け取り、該活性化信号に応答して、前記イネーブル信号を前記電力生成回路に供給し、前記電力流スイッチへのコマンド信号をアサートするように動作するコントローラであって、更に、前記活性化信号の不在に応答して、前記電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号を取り消し、前記電力流スイッチへのコマンド信号をディアサートするように動作する、コントローラと、
前記送出経路内に接続され、前記送出経路を通過する電気外科用電力の流れを検知し、前記送出経路を流れる出力電力の存在を検出したときに検知信号をアサートし、前記送出経路を流れる出力電力の不在を検知したときに前記検知信号をディアサートするセンサと、
前記コマンド信号および前記検知信号を受け取り、前記コマンド信号および検知信号の同時アサートまたは前記コマンド信号および検知信号の同時ディアサートの一方における不一致に応答する検出回路であって、該不一致の検出時に、前記電気外科用電力生成回路への前記イネーブル信号の供給を終了させる、検出回路と、
を備えている、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項12記載の電気外科用発生器であって、更に、
複数の電力送出経路であって、各々、1つの電力流スイッチと1つのセンサとを含む、送出経路を含み、
前記検出回路は、各送出経路からの前記コマンド信号と検知信号とを受け取り、前記送出経路の全てにおける前記コマンド信号および検知信号のアサートおよびディアサートの不一致に応答して、前記イネーブル信号を終了させる、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項13記載の電気外科用発生器であって、更に、
プロセッサを備えており、
前記コントローラおよび検出回路は、前記プロセッサに含まれている、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項13記載の電気外科用発生器であって、更に、
動作的に互いに相互接続されている第1および第2の別個のプロセッサを備えており、
前記第1プロセッサは前記コントローラを含み、
前記第2プロセッサは前記検出回路を含む、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項15記載の電気外科用発生器であって、更に、
前記第1および第2プロセッサとは別個の第3プロセッサを備えており、
前記第3プロセッサは前記第1および第2プロセッサに動作的に接続されており、
前記第3プロセッサは、前記電気外科用電力生成回路に接続され、これを制御する、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項13記載の電気外科用発生器において、
1つの送出経路における前記電力流スイッチは出力リレーを含み、
前記出力リレーを含む前記電力流スイッチへの前記電力コマンド信号は、リレー閉信号を含む、電力外科発生器。 - 請求項17記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記出力リレーを含む前記1つの送出経路における前記センサは、前記出力電力の送出に応答して、前記1つの第1送出経路を流れる電流を検知する電流センサを含む、電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項17記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記電気外科用電力生成回路は、単極出力電力および双極出力電力を生成し、
前記単極出力電力は、前記出力リレーを含む前記送出経路を通じて送出される、
電気外科用発生器。 - 請求項19記載の電気外科用発生器において、
前記双極出力電力は、前記出力リレーを含む前記送出経路とは異なる双極送出経路を通じて送出され、
前記電気外科用電力生成回路は、出力部を含み、
前記双極送出経路内に接続されている前記電力流スイッチは、前記出力部内に含まれる、
電気外科用発生器。 - 電気外科用発生器から出力電気外科用電力の送出状態を判定する方法であって、前記電気外科用電力は、出力電力活性化要求に応答して送出され、
前記活性化要求に基づいて、前記出力電力の送出のために、複数の異なる送出経路から1つを選択するステップと、
前記活性化要求に応答して出力電力を送出するステップと、
前記送出した出力電力が、前記選択した送出経路以外のいずれかの送出経路を流れているか否か判定を行うステップと、
前記出力電力が前記選択した送出経路以外のいずれかの送出経路を流れている場合、出力電力の送出を終了させるステップと、
を含む方法。
