Abstract
【課題】本発明は、被処理水中のカリウムイオン濃度KTのうち、補給水由来のカリウムイオン濃度を電気伝導率を用いて正確に算出し、トレーサーとして添加したカリウムイオン濃度KYを正確に測定し、その測定値をもとに水処理薬品の濃度を管理する方法を提供する。
【解決手段】水処理薬品の濃度管理方法であるカリウムトレーサー法において、被処理水中のカリウムイオン濃度KT、電気伝導率CN、該被処理水系に補給する補給水中のカリウムイオン濃度KM、電気伝導率C1、及び該被処理水系におけるカリウムイオンの濃縮と電気伝導率の濃縮の違いを補正する補正係数αとから、式(1)によって被処理水系に水処理薬品と共に添加したカリウムイオンの濃度KYを算出することを特徴とする水処理薬品の濃度管理方法の構成とすることで実現した。

Claims (3)
- 水処理薬品と共にトレーサー物質としての水中でカリウムイオンを生成する物質を被処理水系に添加し、カリウムイオン濃度により被処理水系に添加した水処理薬品の濃度管理を行う水処理薬品の濃度管理方法において、被処理水中のカリウムイオン濃度KT、電気伝導率CN、該被処理水系に補給する補給水中のカリウムイオン濃度KM、電気伝導率C1、及び該被処理水系におけるカリウムイオンの濃縮と電気伝導率の濃縮の違いを補正する補正係数αとから、式(1)によって被処理水系に水処理薬品と共に添加したカリウムイオンの濃度KYを算出することを特徴とする水処理薬品の濃度管理方法。
KY=KT−KM×(CN/C1)×α・・・式(1) - 被処理水中のカリウムイオン濃度の測定を、カリウムイオンを実質的に含まず、電気伝導率が10mS/m以上である電解質溶液に既知濃度のカリウムイオンを溶解した校正液を用いて校正したカリウムイオン電極を用いて行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の水処理薬品の濃度管理方法。
- 被処理水系に水処理薬品と共に添加したカリウムイオンの濃度KYを被処理水中の水処理薬品の濃度に換算し、その濃度に基づいて該被処理水系に添加する水処理薬品の量を制御することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の水処理薬品の濃度管理方法。
