Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明の放電加工油組成物は、鉱油及び合成油から選ばれる少なくとも1種からなる基油と、炭化水素骨格からなる主鎖及び該主鎖を構成する炭素原子の一部に結合したエステル基を有する高分子化合物とを含有することを特徴とする。

Description
このように、上記一般式(1)で表される単量体と下記一般式(2)で表される単量体との共重合体を所定基油に含有せしめた放電加工油組成物によっても、放電加工法における加工性と貯蔵安定性とを高水準で両立できるようになる。
上記一般式(1)中、R1で示される炭化水素基としては、具体的には、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、アルケニル基、アルキルシクロアルキル基、アリール基、アルキルアリール基、アリールアルキル基等が挙げられ、アルキル基が特に好ましい。
また、本発明においては、上記一般式(1)で表される単量体として、1種を単独で用いてもよく、あるいは構造が異なる2種以上を併用してもよい。
[実施例1〜4、比較例1]
以下に示す基油及び添加剤を用いて、表1に示す組成を有する放電加工油組成物を調製した。得られた放電加工油組成物の40℃における動粘度を表1に併せて示す。
(基油)
基油1:ノルマルパラフィン(飽和分:100容量%、40℃における動粘度:1.75mm2/s)
((A)成分)
A1:マレイン酸ジブチルエステルとα−オレフィンとの共重合体(Ketjenlube115(アクゾノーブル社製)、マレイン酸ジブチルエステル/α−オレフィン=60/40(モル比)、重量平均分子量:1200)
A2:マレイン酸ジブチルエステルとα−オレフィンとの共重合体(Ketjenlube165(アクゾノーブル社製)、マレイン酸ジブチルエステル/α−オレフィン=40/60(モル比)、重量平均分子量:2500)
((B)成分)
B1:上記式(5)で表される化合物
(その他の添加剤)
C1:ポリプロピレングリコール(重量平均分子量:2400)。
実施例1〜4及び比較例1の放電加工油組成物について、以下のようにして加工性評価試験を実施した。サーボ付き放電加工機(ダイヤックスEA12E、三菱電気(株)製)の加工槽に12Lの放電加工油組成物を入れ、下記の加工条件で放電加工を行った。
(加工条件)
電極:銅製四角棒電極(10mm×10mm)
ワーク:SKD−61材(20mm×60mm×30mm)
電流ピーク値:2.5A
パルス幅 ON:2.0μ sec
休止時間 OFF:8.0μ sec
加工時間:60分。
加工速度(mg/分)=加工前後のワークの重量変化(mg)/加工時間(分)
を用いて加工速度を算出した。得られた結果を表1に示す。表1中、加工速度の値が大きいほど加工効率に優れていることを意味する。
実施例1〜4及び比較例1の放電加工油組成物について、以下のようにして貯蔵安定性を評価した。容量100mlのガラス容器を放電加工油組成物で満たし、温度5℃の恒温槽にて24時間放置した後、析出物の有無を確認した。得られた結果を表1に示す。
実施例1〜4の放電加工油組成物を用いて実施した上記加工性評価試験の後、放電加工機の電極、並びに加工槽の壁面及び底面へのタール付着状況を目視で観察した。得られた結果を表2に示す。
Claims (4)
- 鉱油及び合成油から選ばれる少なくとも1種からなる基油と、
炭化水素骨格からなる主鎖及び該主鎖を構成する炭素原子の一部に結合したエステル基を有する高分子化合物と
を含有することを特徴とする放電加工油組成物。 - ヒドロキシフェニル基を2個以上有する化合物を更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の放電加工油組成物。
- 前記基油の40℃における動粘度が0.5〜20mm2/sであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の放電加工油組成物。
