Abstract
【解決手段】弁本体41と、この弁本体に貫通する弁ステム56と、この弁に流れる流体の流れを制御するトリム装置45とを具える。弁ステムによって動かされ通路66を設けた弁プラグ47と、弁ケージ48と、下部弁座46とをトリム装置は有する。弁ケージ48の第1ケージ周囲部58と第2ケージ周囲部59との段差によりケージ棚部60を形成し、弁プラグ47の第1プラグ周囲部61と第2プラグ周囲部62との段差により上部弁座65を形成する。弁を閉じた時、弁プラグ47を下部弁座46に着座させ、同時にケージ棚部60と上部弁座65との間に配置したC字状環のシール装置63を圧縮するが、弁プラグ47と弁ケージ48との間に漏洩した流体の一部はC字状環内に入りそのシール作用を増強する。

Claims (6)
- 導入口ポートと送出口ポートとを有する弁本体と、この弁本体に貫通する弁ステムと、前記導入口ポートと前記送出口ポートとの間の流体の流れを制御するトリム装置とを備える弁において、
前記トリム装置は、(a)通路を有する弁ケージと、(b)下部弁座と、(c)前記弁ステムに取り付けた弁プラグとを具え、前記弁ステムによって前記弁プラグが前記下部弁座に位置している時前記弁ケージの通路を通ずる前記導入口ポートと前記送出口ポートとの間の流体の流れを防止すると共に、前記弁ステムによって前記弁プラグが前記下部弁座から離れて位置している時前記弁ケージの通路を通じて前記導入口ポートと前記送出口ポートとの間に流体を流すよう構成され、前記弁プラグが前記下部弁座に位置している時この弁プラグの両側の圧力を等しくするための連続した通路をこの弁プラグに貫通して設け、前記トリム装置は更に、(d)前記弁プラグと前記弁ケージとの一方によって形成した上部弁座と、(e)前記弁プラグと前記弁ケージとの間の漏洩を防止するシール装置とを具え、前記弁プラグが前記下部弁座の付近に、又は前記下部弁座に位置する時のみ機械的ばね力を発生するよう前記シール装置を配置したことを特徴とする弁。 - 約232℃(450°F)、又はそれ以上の温度で前記弁が作動し得る材料で前記シール装置を構成した請求項1に記載の弁。
- 前記材料が金属からなる請求項2に記載の弁。
- 前記金属がC字状開口を有する金属のC字状環から成り、前記弁プラグと前記弁ケージとの間に漏洩する流体が前記C字状開口に進入することによってこの弁からの漏洩を防止する前記シール装置のシール作用を増強する請求項3に記載の弁。
- 前記金属がV字状開口を有するV字状環から成り、前記弁プラグと前記弁ケージとの間に漏洩する流体が前記V字状開口に進入することによってこの弁からの漏洩を防止する前記シール装置のシール作用を増強する請求項3に記載の弁。
- 前記金属がS字状環から成り、前記弁プラグと前記弁ケージとの間に漏洩する流体がこの弁からの漏洩を防止する前記シール装置のシール作用を増強する請求項3に記載の弁。
