【解決手段】 有機物を溶解又は分散した水性媒体に、活性炭粉末を懸濁し、高温高圧帯域に連続的に供給して水熱反応を行わせることにより、可燃性ガスを発生させる。

Description
また、水性媒体としては、水、水と水混和性有機溶剤、例えばアルコールとの混合物などが用いられる。
この活性炭粉末は、有機物を溶解又は分散した水性媒体に対し、有機物と活性炭粉末との混合割合が質量比で10:1ないし1:2、好ましくは5:1ないし1:1になる量で加えられる。

また、より高温においては、生成したCO2が触媒の活性炭と反応してCOに変換し、可燃化させることもできる。
すなわち、混合槽1においてこのペーストに触媒として粒径100μmの活性炭をペースト全量100質量部当り30質量部の割合で加え、懸濁させた。
次いで、この原料ペーストを、高圧ポンプ2により反応リアクター3に圧入し、500℃、25MPaの条件下で1時間反応させた。この処理により二酸化炭素に基づくガス化率30%を得た。また、上記の活性炭の添加量を60質量部として同様に処理したところ、ガス化率は60%に上昇した。
なお、活性炭を全く添加しない場合のガス化率は20%以下であった。

Claims (5)
- 有機物を溶解又は分散した水性媒体に、活性炭粉末を懸濁し、高温高圧帯域に連続的に供給して水熱反応を行わせることにより、可燃性ガスを発生させることを特徴とする有機物のガス化方法。
- 有機物がバイオマスである請求項1記載のガス化方法。
- 活性炭粉末が平均粒径200μm以下の範囲のものである請求項1又は2記載のガス化方法。
- 有機物と活性炭粉末との混合割合が質量比で10:1ないし1:2である請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のガス化方法。
- 温度350〜700℃、圧力20〜50MPaに保たれた帯域に供給して行う請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のガス化方法。
