Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明は、アンテナと電子部品とからなるRFIDタグにおいて、誘電体基板の表面を覆う板状の金属とからなるアンテナと、その板状の金属に実装する電子部品と、重ねられたRFIDタグのループコイルアンテナへの影響を低減する配置になるように、該アンテナを端部に収容する部材とからなるRFIDタグを用いる。

Description
図2は、無線タグ1の構成を示し、 図2(a)は無線タグ1の平面図であり、(b)はその断面図である。
無線タグ1は、円偏波対応型であり、電波放射面2aを有する放射側導電板2、アース面3aを有するアース側導電板3、半導体モジュール4、誘電体部5を備えて構成される。ここでは、放射側導電板2とアース側導電板3との間に誘電体部5を介在してアンテナ素子6が構成され、放射側導電板2として円形状で中心部に矩形状の切込み(開口部)7を有するものを使用している。半導体モジュール4の一方端子4aは放射側導電板2に、他方端子4bはアース側導電板3に接続される。誘電体部5から電波放射面2aの一点とアース面3a間を見たインピーダンスは、良く知られているように電波放射面2aの中央付近では0に近く、電波放射面2aの端にいくに従って高くなる。
電波放射面2aの端では、数100オームの高インピーダンスになる。
半導体モジュール4の位置は、半導体モジュール4の両端子4a,4bからみたインピーダンスが、電波放射面2aとアース面3a間のインピーダンスに、より整合される付近に接続される。なお、端子4a,4bの長さ・幅によるインピーダンス特性も含めて整合される。質問器から放射された円偏波信号は、電波放射面2aで取込まれ、半導体モジュール4に入力される。タグ情報の読み出しの場合には、無線タグ1に入力された信号波が無線タグ1内の情報によって変調され、タグインピーダンスが変わることによって、入力波が反射され電波放射面2aから質問器に返される。
また、上記とは別に、従来のUHF帯用のRFIDタグ(例えば、折り返しダイポールアンテナを有するタグ)は人体近傍で使用する場合,特性が劣化するという問題があった。
本発明は、上記の問題を鑑みなされたものであり、13MHz帯RFIDタグに重ねても、そのタグのループアンテナへの影響を低減でき、かつ人体近傍において使用する場合でも良好な放射・受信特性が得られるアンテナを有するRFIDタグを提供することを目的とする。
図9(a)のアンテナ構成の金属部分の各寸法はd=32mm、e=29mmとし、誘電体基板寸法は60mm×47mm×0.6mm、基板比誘電率は2.3、基板誘電損失(tanδ)は0.01以下、金属部導電率は1×107S/m、金属厚さは9μmとする。さらに、チップアドミッタンスは実部約1mS、虚部5mS以上と。このようなアンテナ構成とICチップとは、図10に示す第3のアンテナとICチップとのマッチング特性が得られる。

Claims (4)
- コイル状ループアンテナを有する一方のRFIDタグと重さなる他方のRFIDタグであって、
誘電体基板の表面を覆う板状の金属とからなるアンテナと、
その板状の金属上に実装する電子部品と、
重ねられた該一方のRFIDタグのコイル状ループアンテナ一部を覆うように、端部に収容する該アンテナを備えた部材とを有することを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - コイル状ループアンテナを有する一方のRFIDタグと重さなる他方のRFIDタグであって、
誘電体基板の表面を覆覆い、一部を切り欠いた板状の金属とからなるアンテナと、
その板状の金属上に実装する電子部品と、
重ねられた該一方のRFIDタグのコイル状ループアンテナ一部を覆うように、端部に収容する該アンテナを備えた部材とを有することを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - アンテナと電子部品とからなるRFIDタグにおいて、
誘電体基板の表面を覆い、折り返しループを形成する金属とからなるアンテナと、その板状の金属に実装する電子部品と、
該アンテナを端部に収容する部材とを有することを特徴とするRFIDタグである。 - アンテナと電子部品とからなるRFIDタグにおいて、
誘電体基板の表面を覆い、ループの両端を中央付近に折り返したループを形成する金属からなるアンテナと、
その板状の金属に実装する電子部品と、
該アンテナを端部に収容する部材とを有することを特徴とするRFIDタグ。
