Abstract
【解決手段】発電セル10は、電解質膜・電極構造体12を構成するアノード側電極26の外方に位置して固体高分子電解質膜24に直接接触するアノード側シール部材42と、前記電解質膜・電極構造体12の外方に位置するカソード側シール部材48とを備える。アノード側シール部材42とカソード側シール部材48との間に間隙50が形成され、前記アノード側シール部材42には、前記間隙50側に突出する第1リブ部52が一体成形される一方、前記カソード側シール部材48には、前記間隙50に突出し、且つ前記第1リブ部52と千鳥状に配設される第2リブ部54が一体成形される。

Claims (2)
- 電解質膜の両側に第1電極と該第1電極よりも大きな表面積を有する第2電極とを配設した電解質膜・電極構造体を備え、前記電解質膜・電極構造体が第1及び第2セパレータ間に配設される燃料電池であって、
前記第1セパレータには、前記第1電極の外方に位置して前記電解質膜・電極構造体に接触する第1シール部材が設けられるとともに、
前記第2セパレータには、前記電解質膜・電極構造体の外方に位置して前記第1セパレータに接触する第2シール部材が設けられ、
前記第1シール部材と前記第2シール部材とには、互いに千鳥状に配設される第1リブ部と第2リブ部とが一体的に形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記第1シール部材又は前記第2シール部材には、前記第2リブ部又は前記第1リブ部に対向する第3リブ部が一体的に形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
