Claims (7)
- 第1の符号を有する第1のスペクトラム拡散信号を送信する手段と、
第2の符号を有する第2のスペクトラム拡散信号のマルチパス成分のインパルス応答を、前記第1のスペクトラム拡散信号と同期した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の第1の受信成分を算定するように受信し分析する手段と、
受信した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の前記第2の符号、送信した前記第1のスペクトラム拡散信号の前記第1の符号、および受信した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の前記算定した第1の受信成分のタイミング差に基づき距離算定を行う手段と
を含む基地局。 - 前記第1のスペクトラム拡散信号がパイロット信号である請求項1記載の基地局。
- 前記距離算定を、前記タイミング差を光速の2倍で除算することによって行う請求項1記載の基地局。
- 前記第1のスペクトラム拡散信号のチップ速度が少なくとも80nsであり、前記タイミング差をチップの少なくとも16分の1の精度で検出する請求項1記載の基地局。
- 既知の距離だけ互いに隔てて配置された複数のアンテナと、
第1の符号を有する第1のスペクトラム拡散信号を送信する手段と、
第2の符号を有する第2のスペクトラム拡散信号を前記複数のアンテナを用いて受信するとともに、前記第1のスペクトラム拡散信号と同期した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の第1の受信成分を算定するように前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号のマルチパス成分のインパルス応答を算定する手段と、
受信した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の前記第2の符号、送信した前記第1のスペクトラム拡散信号の前記第1の符号、および受信した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の前記算定した第1の受信成分のタイミング差に基づき距離算定を行う手段と、
前記複数のアンテナの各々が受信した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の搬送波信号の位相差を比較する手段と、
前記距離算定および前記位相差を用いて受信した前記第2のスペクトラム拡散信号の角度を算定する手段と
を含む基地局。 - 前記第1のスペクトラム拡散信号がパイロット信号である請求項1記載の基地局。
- 前記複数のアンテナのうちの二つのアンテナの距離がlであり、前記搬送波信号の前記位相差がφであり、前記搬送波信号の波長がλであり、値mがm=φ・λ/2πで与えられ、前記算定した角度αがα=cos−1(m/l)で与えられる請求項1記載の基地局。
