Abstract
【課題】 簡単な構造で性能をさらに向上させることができる燃料電池システムの改質装置及びこれを採用した燃料電池システムを提供する。
【解決手段】 本発明による燃料電池システムは、水素を含有した燃料から水素を発生させる改質装置と、前記水素と酸素との電気化学的な反応によって電気エネルギーを発生させる少なくとも一つの電気発生部とを含む。前記改質装置は、水素を含有した燃料から水素を発生させる複数の反応部と、前記各反応部に熱エネルギーを提供すると共に触媒を備える複数の加熱部と、前記複数の反応部及び加熱部が内部空間に設けられた本体とを含む。このとき、前記各加熱部は、前記各反応部での反応に必要な互いに異なる量の熱エネルギーを発生させる。

Claims (32)
- 水素を含有した燃料から水素を発生させる複数の反応部と、
前記各反応部に対応して形成され、前記各反応部に熱エネルギーを提供すると共に触媒を備える複数の加熱部と、
前記複数の反応部及び加熱部が内部空間に設けられた本体とを含み、
前記各加熱部は、前記各反応部での反応に必要な互いに異なる量の熱エネルギーを発生させる燃料電池システムの改質装置。 - 前記各加熱部のそれぞれに設けられる触媒の量が実質的に同一であり、それぞれに異なる量の燃料が注入されて、互いに異なる量の熱エネルギーを発生させる、請求項1に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記複数の反応部は、改質触媒反応によって前記燃料から水素ガスを発生させる改質反応部と、前記改質反応部と連続的に配置されて前記水素ガスに含有された一酸化炭素の濃度を低減させる少なくとも一つの一酸化炭素低減部とを含む、請求項2に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記加熱部は前記反応部の各々に対応して形成され、前記各加熱部は、燃料及び酸素が注入される注入口を備える、請求項3に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。

- 前記本体は、第1管路及び前記第1管路と間隔を置いて前記第1管路内部に配置される第2管路とを含み、
前記第2管路の内部空間及び前記第1管路と前記第2管路との間の空間は、互いに対応する複数の空間に区画される、請求項3に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。 - 前記第2管路内部の区画された空間の各々に反応部が形成され、前記第1管路と第2管路との間の区画された空間の各々に加熱部が形成される、請求項7に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記第1管路には、前記各加熱部に燃料及び酸素が注入される注入口が形成される、請求項8に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記注入口の断面積は、前記各加熱部に対応して互いに異なる大きさに形成される、請求項9に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記改質反応部に熱エネルギーを提供する加熱部の注入口が、前記一酸化炭素低減部に熱エネルギーを提供する加熱部の注入口より大きく形成される、請求項10に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記第2管路の内部空間は、メッシュ状のバリア部材によって複数の空間に区画される、請求項7に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記第1管路と第2管路との間の空間は、隔壁によって互いに同一容積を有する複数の空間に区画される、請求項7に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記第1管路は、セラミック、ステンレス鋼及びアルミニウムからなる群より選択される少なくとも一つの材質で形成される、請求項7に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記第2管路は、ステンレス鋼、アルミニウム、銅及び鉄からなる群より選択される材質で形成される、請求項7に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素低減部は、前記水素ガスの水性ガス転換(WGS)触媒反応によって前記水素ガスに含有された一酸化炭素の濃度を低減させる反応部を含む、請求項3に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記一酸化炭素低減部は、前記水素ガスと酸素との選択的酸化(PROX)触媒反応によって前記水素ガスに含有された一酸化炭素の濃度を低減させる少なくとも一つの反応部を含む、請求項3に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記複数の反応部は、前記改質反応部よりも上流側に設けられ、前記燃料を気化させる気化部をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 前記複数の反応部及び加熱部は、各反応を促進させるペレット状またはハニカム状の触媒を備える、請求項1に記載の燃料電池システムの改質装置。
- 水素を含有した燃料から水素を発生させる改質装置と、
前記水素と酸素との電気化学的な反応によって電気エネルギーを発生させる少なくとも一つの電気発生部とを含み、
前記改質装置は、水素を含有した燃料から水素を発生させる複数の反応部と、前記各反応部に熱エネルギーを提供すると共に触媒を備える複数の加熱部と、前記複数の反応部及び加熱部が内部空間に設けられた本体とを含み、
前記各加熱部は、前記各反応部での反応に必要な互いに異なる量の熱エネルギーを発生させる燃料電池システム。 - 前記各加熱部のそれぞれに設けられる触媒の量が実質的に同一であり、それぞれに異なる量の燃料が注入されて、互いに異なる量の熱エネルギーを発生させる、請求項20に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記複数の反応部は、改質触媒反応によって前記燃料から水素ガスを発生させる改質反応部と、前記改質反応部と連続的に配置されて前記水素ガスに含有された一酸化炭素の濃度を低減させる少なくとも一つの一酸化炭素低減部とを含む、請求項21に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記加熱部は前記反応部の各々に対応して形成され、前記各加熱部は、燃料及び酸素が注入される注入口を備える、請求項22に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記注入口の断面積は、前記各加熱部に対応して互いに異なる大きさに形成される、請求項23に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記改質装置に燃料を供給する燃料供給源と、前記改質装置及び電気発生部に酸素を供給する酸素供給源とを含む、請求項23に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記燃料供給源は、前記燃料を保存するタンクと、前記タンクと連結設置される少なくとも一つの燃料ポンプとを含み、
前記燃料タンクと前記各注入口とが、パイプ形態の供給ラインによって接続される、請求項25に記載の燃料電池システム。 - 前記燃料タンクと前記各注入口とを連結する各々の供給ラインに、前記各反応部に対応して互いに異なる容量の前記燃料ポンプが設置される、請求項26に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記燃料タンクと前記各注入口とを連結する各々の供給ラインに、前記各反応部に対応して燃料調節バルブが設置される、請求項26に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記酸素供給源は、空気を吸入して、この空気を前記改質装置及び電気発生部に供給する少なくとも一つの空気ポンプを含み、
前記空気ポンプと前記各々の注入口とが、パイプ形態の供給ラインによって接続される、請求項25に記載の燃料電池システム。 - 互いに異なる容量を有する前記空気ポンプが、前記各加熱部に対応して別途に設置される、請求項29に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記空気ポンプと前記各々の注入口とを連結する各々の供給ラインに、流量調節バルブが設置される、請求項29に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記本体は、第1管路及び前記第1管路と間隔を置いて前記第1管路内部に配置される第2管路とを含み、前記第2管路の内部空間及び前記第1管路と前記第2管路との間の空間は、互いに対応する複数の空間に区画され、
前記第2管路内部の区画された空間の各々に反応部が形成され、前記第1管路と第2管路との間の区画された空間の各々に各加熱部が形成される、請求項20に記載の燃料電池システム。
