Description

The present invention relates to a deodorant containing a plant or plant-derived extract as an active ingredient, which suppresses the production of volatile steroids, and a cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or quasi-drug containing the plant or plant-derived extract. The present invention relates to a deodorant preparation selected from products, fiber deodorants, and a fiber deodorant treatment method using the plant or plant-derived extract. More specifically, it contains a deodorant containing a plant or plant-derived extract, which has a volatile steroid production inhibitory effect without sterilizing resident bacteria, and contains the plant or plant-derived extract. The present invention relates to a deodorant preparation selected from cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, quasi drugs, and fiber deodorants, and a fiber deodorant treatment method using the plant or plant-derived extract.

Conventionally, as a method for preventing body odor such as sweat odor, a deodorizing technique and a masking technique are mainly used. In recent years, a method for suppressing the generation of body odor has been put into practical use by a sterilization technique for sterilizing causative bacteria that produce a substance causing body odor. However, the deodorizing technique and the masking technique are not satisfactory in terms of the degree of effect and sustainability. Moreover, since the said sterilization technique also sterilizes skin resident bacteria other than odor-producing bacteria, there was a concern of lowering the skin barrier function (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1 below).

Therefore, recently, a technique for suppressing the generation of body odor without sterilizing the skin resident bacteria has been proposed (see Patent Document 1 below). That is, in the metabolism of skin resident bacteria, for example, a causative substance of body odor such as androste-16-enes, which are volatile steroids, is generated. Therefore, the technique inhibits metabolic enzymes of skin resident bacteria. This suppresses the generation of the body odor causing substance and suppresses the generation of body odor.

In Patent Document 1, β-glucuronidase inhibitors that suppress the production of androste-16-enes, which are said to be the cause odor of human body odor, mainly glandular odor, include, for example, ougon, gobishi, gardenia, shikon, peony In addition, plant extracts such as enamel, chamomile, and acupuncture are studied, and it is disclosed that the generation of unpleasant body odor can be suppressed without sterilizing the skin resident bacteria.

On the other hand, with respect to volatile steroids, it is known that nonvolatile steroid sulfate secreted on the skin is metabolized and produced by skin resident bacteria (see Non-Patent Document 2 below).

Examples of 4-ene reductase and 5α-reductase inhibitors that suppress the production of volatile steroids by the skin resident bacteria include (Z) -3,4,5,6,6-pentamethylhept-3-ene Perfume ingredients such as 2-one, diethyl-cyclohex-2-en-1-one and dimethyl-cyclohex-2-en-1-one, citronellol, etc. have been studied, and skin resident bacteria (odor-producing bacteria) ) Can be suppressed without sterilization (see Patent Document 2 below).

However, the β-glucuronidase inhibitor disclosed in Patent Document 1 cannot suppress the production of volatile steroids from non-volatile steroid sulfate, and suppresses the production of androste-16-enes. Is insufficient. Therefore, the β-glucuronidase inhibitor does not provide a satisfactory body odor suppressing effect.

In addition, in the inhibitor of 4-ene reductase and 5α-reductase disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 2, which is involved in the volatile steroid production pathway of skin resident bacteria, the production suppression of volatile steroids is suppressed. Since it is insufficient, the effect which can be satisfied in the point of suppression of body odor is not acquired. This is thought to be due to the fact that multiple pathways are involved in the generation of volatile steroids, and that 4-ene reductase and 5α-reductase inhibitors only block some of the pathways. .

This invention is made | formed in view of the said situation, Comprising: The objective of this invention is the plant or plant-derived material which can suppress continuously the production | generation of the volatile steroid which is one of the causative substances of body odor. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for treating fiber deodorant.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have made extensive studies on the volatile steroid production-inhibiting action of extracts from various plants and the like. As a result, β-glucuronidase, 4 -Regardless of whether or not the inhibitory action of enreductase and 5α-reductase is present, it has the effect of highly and continuously suppressing the production of volatile steroids, specifically androstenone, which is one of the main causative agents of body odor. The headline and the present invention were completed.

That is, the deodorant preparation including the deodorant agent and the fiber deodorant of the present invention is characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, an extract of a plant or a plant-derived product having an effect of suppressing the generation of volatile steroids. Furthermore, according to the present invention, a fiber deodorant treatment method using the plant or plant-derived extract can be provided.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
The deodorant preparation including the deodorant agent and fiber deodorant of the present invention is characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, an extract of a plant or a plant-derived product having a volatile steroid production inhibitory effect.

Volatile steroids are the main odorous substance of odor and the main causative substance of body odor. This volatile steroid is known to be produced by metabolism of skin resident bacteria. Therefore, the deodorant of the present invention containing a plant or plant-derived extract as an active ingredient that can suppress the production of volatile steroids by metabolism of skin resident bacteria can effectively suppress unpleasant body odor. it can. Examples of the “volatile steroid” include 3α-androstenol, 3β-androstenol, androstagenol, androstagenone, androsterone, androstenone.

The presence of β-glucuronidase, 4-ene reductase and 5α-reductase are known as enzymes involved in the metabolism of volatile steroidogenesis in skin resident bacteria, but other related enzymes and metabolic pathways are unknown. . Therefore, as a deodorant agent that can effectively suppress unpleasant body odor, it suppresses the generation of volatile steroids, which are the main causative substances of body odor, regardless of whether β-glucuronidase, 4-ene reductase and 5α-reductase have an inhibitory action. It is important to have the effect of

The suppression rate of volatile steroid formation of the plant or plant-derived extract contained in the deodorant and deodorant preparation of the present invention was obtained using Corynebacterium xerosis, which is one of the skin resident bacteria. It is preferably 90% to 100% in the volatile steroid generation system. It is not clear whether the plant or plant-derived extract contained in the deodorant agent and deodorant preparation of the present invention blocks any metabolic pathway in volatile steroidogenesis or by what mechanism of action. In addition, it has a high production inhibitory effect of volatile steroid itself, which is a main causative substance of body odor.

The volatile steroid generation system using Corynebacterium xerosis is a non-volatile steroid sulfate containing Corynebacterium xerosis, as shown in Examples 1 to 30 described later. This refers to a reaction system in which 1 × 10 8 cells / mL are inoculated and cultured at 37 ° C. for 6 hours to produce volatile steroids. The plant or plant-derived extract exhibits a high volatile steroid production inhibitory effect of 90% or more in this system.

Moreover, it is preferable that the deodorant agent and deodorant preparation of the present invention do not exhibit bactericidal action against skin resident bacteria. The deodorant agent and deodorant preparation of the present invention have a high production inhibitory effect on the volatile steroid itself without exhibiting bactericidal action against skin resident bacteria by appropriately adjusting the blending ratio of the extract. In addition, the effect of suppressing body odor can be exhibited. The bactericidal action here refers to adding a test substance to an SCD medium containing 0.1% Tween 80, inoculating the medium with a resident skin bacterium (Corynebacterium xerosis), culturing at 37 ° C. for 6 hours, In contrast, the number of viable bacteria is reduced to 1/100 or less.

The specific blending amount of the extract in the fiber deodorant is 0.0001 to 5%, preferably 0.0001 to 0.5 in terms of solid content, because the action on the skin resident bacteria becomes indirect. %. This is because if it is less than 0.0001%, the effects of the present invention cannot be exhibited, and if it exceeds 5%, problems such as coloring of the fibers may occur.

In addition to the fiber deodorant, the deodorant formulation of the present invention is a deodorant formulation such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, quasi drugs, fiber deodorants, such as creams, emulsions, lotions, powders, sprays, sticks, body soaps, shampoos, It can be prepared as a rinse, tonic or the like.

In this case, the deodorant preparation of the present invention can be prepared by a conventional method using known blending components according to the type, dosage form, etc. of the deodorant preparation. Known ingredients include, for example, surfactants, oils, alcohols, humectants, thickeners, preservatives, chelating agents, pH adjusters, fragrances, dyes, UV absorbers / scatterers, vitamins, water, etc. Can be added as needed. In addition to the plant or plant-derived extract, generally used deodorants, preservatives, antioxidants and the like can be added to the deodorant preparation of the present invention.

The fiber deodorant treatment method of the present invention uses an extract of a plant or plant-derived material having the above-described volatile steroid production inhibitory effect. Thereafter, 10 g of gentian extract was added as Example 36 and 10 g of Kyonin extract was added as Example 37, and the mixture was further stirred for 1 hour to obtain a dispersion. As the gentian extract and the kyonin extract, those prepared according to the preparation example were used.

Next, 6% of the dispersion liquid thus obtained, 1.5% of “Boncoat AB885” (trade name, manufactured by Dainippon Ink & Chemicals, Inc.) and 92.5% of water are mixed together, and fibers are mixed. A deodorant was prepared. A commercially available skin shirt (cotton fiber) was immersed in the fiber deodorant thus obtained, dehydrated with a roller, and then dried to produce a skin shirt for evaluation.

Next, 20 adult males were divided into 4 groups of 5 persons, and the skin shirts produced in Examples 36 and 37 were worn at 9 am in each group. The subject applied an exercise load of 30 minutes with an ergometer in the morning and afternoon. Each skin shirt was collected at 5 pm on the same day, and kept at 37 ° C. for 1 hour, and then the odor of the skin shirt was evaluated by a professional judge. Odor determination criteria were according to the following score classification, and the evaluation score was expressed as an average value of 5 people in each group. The results of the skin shirt deodorant test are shown in Table 42.
