Abstract
【解決手段】 溶加材組成物から成る溶加材溶接棒(58)は、金属粉末の塊を提供することと、金属粉末を一時熱可塑性結合剤と混合し、射出成形可能な混合物(48)を形成することと、その後、熱可塑性結合剤の熱可塑温度より高い射出成形温度で、射出成形可能な混合物(48)を射出成形し、射出成形棒を形成することにより製造される。射出成形棒から、余分な熱可塑性結合剤が除去される。その後、射出成形棒は、焼結され、焼結の工程中に一時熱可塑性結合剤が除去された溶加材溶接棒(58)が形成される。

Claims (10)
- 溶加材組成物から成る溶加材溶接棒(58)を製造する方法において、
全体として溶加材組成を有する金属粉末の塊を提供する工程と;
前記金属粉末を一時熱可塑性結合剤と混合し、射出成形可能な混合物(48)を形成する工程と;
その後、前記熱可塑性結合剤の熱可塑温度より高い射出成形温度で、前記射出成形可能な混合物(48)を射出成形し、射出成形棒を形成する工程と;
その後、前記射出成形棒の外面から余分な熱可塑性結合剤を除去する工程と;
その後、前記射出成形棒を焼結し、焼結の工程中に前記一時熱可塑性結合剤が除去された溶加材溶接棒(58)を形成する工程とから成る方法。 - 前記金属粉末の塊を提供する工程は、
約30体積%を超えるガンマプライム相を生成するように熱処理可能であるニッケル系超合金として、正味金属組成物を提供する工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記金属粉末の塊を提供する工程は、
金属間合金として正味金属組成物を提供する工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記金属粉末の塊を提供する工程は、
チタンアルミナイド金属間合金として正味金属組成物を提供する工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記金属粉末の塊を提供する工程は、
約45.5原子%〜約48.0原子%のアルミニウムと、約48原子%〜約50.5原子%のチタンと、残部としての他の元素とを含む公称溶加材組成を有する金属粉末の塊を提供する工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記金属粉末の塊を提供する工程は、
前記金属粉末と混合された非金属粒子を提供する工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記混合する工程は、
前記一時熱可塑性結合剤の熱可塑温度を超える混合温度で、前記金属粉末と前記一時熱可塑性結合剤を混合する工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記焼結する工程は、
前記溶加材溶接棒(58)を90%以下の相対密度まで焼結する工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記焼結する工程の後に、
前記溶加材溶接棒(58)を熱間等静圧圧縮成形する追加の工程を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記射出成形する工程は、
射出ノズル(44)を有する射出ヘッド(42)と、
前記射出ノズル(44)から流れ出る前記射出成形可能な混合物(48)を受け入れるように配置された移動自在の受け入れ部(50)とを含む射出成形装置(40)を提供する工程と;
前記射出成形可能な混合物(48)を前記射出ヘッド内に装入する工程と;
前記射出成形可能な混合物(48)が前記射出ノズル(44)から押し出されるときの速度と等しい直線速度で、前記移動自在の受け入れ部(50)を前記射出ノズル(44)から離間するように移動させつつ、前記射出ノズル(44)から流れ出る前記射出成形可能な混合物(48)を前記移動自在の受入れ部(50)の上に押し出す工程とを含む請求項1記載の方法。
