【解決手段】 陽極22と,陰極23と,陽極22と陰極23との間に介在されるセパレータ21とを含む電極群25と,電極群25を収容するケース11と,ケース11の外部に露出する端子31,33をもってケース11に結合し,ケース11を密閉させるキャップ組立体30と,端子31,33と電極群25とを電気的に連結するリードエレメント35,37とを含み,端子31,33は,電極群25と実質的に中心を一致させて配置され,リードエレメント35,37は,端子31,33の中心から隔置されて端子31,33と前記電極群25に連結されることを特徴とする。かかる構成により,リードエレメントの連結構造が改善され,ケース11内の空隙を縮小することができる。

まず,第1の実施形態について説明する。ここで,図1は,本実施形態に係る二次電池を示す斜視図である。また,図2は,本実施形態に係る電極群を示す斜視図である。
次に,図6および図7に基づいて,第2の実施形態にかかる端子の構造について説明する。本実施形態にかかる二次電池の端子は,図6に示すように,リードエレメント35,37とリードエレメント35’,37’とが対向する状態で係止フランジ39,39’に形成することもできる。

Claims (10)
- 陽極と,陰極と,前記陽極と前記陰極との間に介在されるセパレータとを含む電極群と;
前記電極群を収容するケースと;
前記ケースの外部に露出する端子を備えて前記ケースに結合し,前記ケースを密閉させるキャップ組立体と;
前記端子と前記電極群とを電気的に連結するリードエレメントと;
を含み,
前記端子は,前記電極群と中心を一致させて配置され,
前記リードエレメントは,前記端子の中心から離隔して配置されて,前記端子と前記電極群とに連結されることを特徴とする,二次電池。 - 前記陽極および前記陰極は,それぞれ活物質を有しない無地部を備え,
前記端子と前記リードエレメントとは,前記陽極無地部と前記陰極無地部とにそれぞれ連結される陽極用と陰極用とを備えることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記陽極無地部と前記陰極無地部とは,多重にされて,前記電極群の両端部に対向して配置され,
前記リードエレメントは,前記陽極無地部の最外郭部位と前記陰極無地部の最外郭部位とに結合されることを特徴とする,請求項2に記載の二次電池。 - 前記リードエレメントは,前記無地部の長手方向に沿って延び,前記無地部に接触して結合されることを特徴とする,請求項2または3のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
- 前記陽極無地部と前記陰極無地部とは,それぞれ前記最外郭部位が向かい合うように配置され,
前記陽極リードエレメントと前記陰極リードエレメントとは,前記最外郭部位の少なくとも一つに接触して結合されることを特徴とする,請求項3または4のいずれかに記載の二次電池。 - 前記端子は,前記キャップ組立体のベースプレートに設けられた孔に挿通されて結合され,
前記端子と前記リードエレメントとの間には,前記端子と前記リードエレメントとを連結しながら前記端子を前記ベースプレートに係止する係止フランジが配置されることを特徴とする,請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の二次電池。 - 前記端子と前記ベースプレートとの間には,前記端子と前記ベースプレートとを絶縁させるガスケットが配置されることを特徴とする,請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記端子の外周面には,前記端子を前記ベースプレートに固定させるナット締結用ネジ部が設けられることを特徴とする,請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記二次電池は,角形であることを特徴とする,請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
- 前記二次電池は,モータ駆動用であることを特徴とする,請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
