Claims (26)
- 正極板、負極板、及びセパレータが巻き取られて形成される電極組立体と、前記電極組立体及び電解液が受容される缶と、一側に電解液注入口が形成されるキャッププレートを備え、前記缶の上段開口部を密封するキャップ組立体、及び前記キャップ組立体に電気的に接続される保護回路基板と、を含む二次電池であって、
前記キャッププレートの上面に、前記電解液注入口を密封する密封プレートを含むことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記密封プレートは、前記キャッププレートの上面に熔接されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、溶接により形成される熔接部位が、前記電解液注入口の周囲に閉曲線をなすように熔接されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の二次電池。
- 前記熔接部位は、前記電解液注入口を中心として環形で形成されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の二次電池。
- 前記熔接部位は、環形の内側が、前記電解液注入口から少なくとも0.1mm離隔して形成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、レーザー熔接により溶接されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の二次電池。
- 前記レーザー熔接において、熔接深度は0.15mmないし0.50mmであることを特徴とする請求項6記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、ニッケル金属からなることを特徴とする請求項3記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、上部のニッケル金属板と下部のアルミニウム金属板とが接合されて形成されることを特徴とする請求項3または4記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、0.05ないし0.45mmの厚さで形成されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、長さ方向に伸延して形成され、一側が前記電解液注入口に熔接され、他側が前記保護回路基板の電極タップに連結されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、他側の側面から上部に延びて形成される延長部が更に形成され、前記延長部に、前記保護回路基板の電極タップが連結されることを特徴とする請求項11記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレートは、前記電解液注入口の上部に前記密封プレートに相応する大きさで形成されて、前記密封プレートが安着する安着溝を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、前記キャッププレートの電解液注入口に相応する位置が、下部へ所定面積が突出して熔接部が形成され、前記熔接部の外側で前記キャッププレートに熔接されるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記熔接部は、前記電解液注入口の直径より大きい直径または辺を有する円形または四角形で形成されることを特徴とする請求項14記載の二次電池。
- 前記密封プレートは、下面に前記電解液注入口の内径に相応する外径を有する弾性体を更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記弾性体は、前記キャッププレートの厚さよりも低い高さで形成されることを特徴とする請求項16記載の二次電池。
- 前記弾性体は、PP、PPS、PI、NYLON66を含む有機材料中、いずれかの一つの材質で形成されることを特徴とする請求項16記載の二次電池。
- 前記保護回路基板は、前記二次電池の正極および負極に連結される正負極用リードプレートおよび負極用リードプレートを備え、
前記密封プレートは、前記リードプレート中、いずれかの一つに形成されて、前記電解液注入口の外周より大きい熔接部位を形成しながら、前記電解液注入口上に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。 - 前記リードプレートは、導電性プレートで形成されることを特徴とする請求項19記載の二次電池。
- 前記負極用リードプレートが前記二次電池の負極端子に熔接により固定され、前記正極用リードプレートが前記電解液注入口の上部のキャッププレートに熔接されて固定されることを特徴とする請求項19記載の二次電池。
- 前記保護回路基板は、前記キャップ組立体上に位置するように設けられることを特徴とする請求項19記載の二次電池。
- 前記熔接部位は、実質的に前記電解液注入口の外周を囲む形状からなることを特徴とする請求項19記載の二次電池。
- 前記熔接部位により形成される面積は、前記電解液注入口の断面積より少なくとも2倍になるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項19記載の二次電池。
- 前記熔接部位は、少なくとも2つの熔接ラインで形成され、当該溶接ラインのいずれかの一つが他の熔接ラインを囲んでいる形態で形成されることを特徴とする請求項19記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液注入口は、上部が面取りされて形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池。
