Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 無機質の骨ミネラルまたは天然骨様ミネラルまたは合成ヒドロキシアパタイトに由来する多孔性の再吸収性粒子、および
前記粒子を懸濁し、骨欠損に設置するためのパテ様製剤を生成するための再吸収性キャリアゲル成分を含み、前記ゲル成分が、十分に高い分子量およびパテにおける濃度を有し、粒子材料の濃度が、骨修復を容易にするほど十分に高く、前記材料の移動および膨張が最小限に抑えられることを特徴とする骨修復材料。 - 前記再吸収性粒子が、250〜1000μmの粒径範囲を有するウシ由来であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨修復材料。
- 前記再吸収性粒子が、300〜1000μmの粒径範囲を有する、石灰含有藻類に由来する多孔性ヒドロキシアパタイトであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨修復材料。
- 前記キャリアゲル成分が、多糖を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨修復材料。
- 前記キャリア材料成分が、ヒアルロン酸もしくはその誘導体、またはヒドロキシプロピルセルロースもしくはそれらの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の骨修復材料。
- 前記キャリアゲル成分が、0.7〜2.0×106ダルトンの分子量および45〜64mg/ccのパテ中最終濃度を有するヒアルロン酸またはその誘導体であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の骨修復材料。
- 米国特許第5,635,482号の特許請求の範囲に記載されているポリペプチド配列の少なくとも1種を有し、前記粒子に結合している、I型コラーゲンの合成生体模倣ポリペプチド配列をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨修復材料。
- 歯の骨修復処置のための骨修復材料であって、
前記材料の約30〜75重量パーセントの量の、多孔性、合成、再吸収性、骨様ヒドロキシアパタイトまたは無機質の骨由来粒子、および
前記材料の約25〜70重量パーセントの量のヒアルロン酸成分ゲルを含み、
前記材料が、骨欠損への適用に関して成形可能な粘着性パテであり、前記存在する粒子量が、その密度に依存することを特徴とする骨修復材料。 - 前記粒子は、1.1〜1.3g/ccのかさ密度を有し、パテ状組成物は、粒子約50〜60重量パーセントおよびヒアルロン酸ゲル約40〜50重量パーセントを含む請求項7に記載の骨修復材料。
- 前記骨修復材料が、粒子約55重量パーセントおよびヒアルロン酸ゲル約45重量パーセントを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の骨修復材料。
- 前記粒子が、0.45〜0.65g/ccのかさ密度を有し、パテ状組成物が、粒子約35〜40重量パーセントおよびヒアルロン酸約60〜65重量パーセントを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の骨修復材料。
- 前記キャリアが、成形可能な粘着性パテを形成するヒドロキシプロピルセルロースまたはメチルセルロースゲルであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の骨修復グラフト材料。
- 前記ゲルキャリアに懸濁され、直径約200〜500mmの異種骨ミネラル粒子と結合している、米国特許第5,635,482号の特許請求の範囲に記載されているコラーゲンのP−15ポリペプチド配列の少なくとも1種を含み、前記材料が、パテ様粘稠度を有していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の骨修復材料。
- ヒドロキシプロピルセルロースまたはヒアルロン酸ゲルキャリアに懸濁されている直径約300〜1000μmの石灰含有藻類に由来する多孔性ヒドロキシアパタイトと結合している、米国特許第5,635,482号およびその継続出願の特許請求の範囲に記載されているコラーゲンのP−15ポリペプチド配列の少なくとも1種を含み、前記材料が、パテ様粘稠度を有していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の骨修復材料。
- 骨欠損に隣接する歯ぐき組織を切開し、前記組織の皮弁を折り返して前記欠損を露出させること、
前記欠損において前記欠損および隣接する歯根を切除すること、
前記欠損内に請求項1に記載の骨修復材料を設置すること、および
前記組織皮弁を閉じて治療した欠損を覆うこと、
からなることを特徴とする骨量減少を治療し、その修復を行う方法。 - 修復材料の設置は、スパチュラ、器具使用、手、または注入によることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記骨修復材料が、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース(HPC)またはヒアルロン酸もしくは誘導体ゲルキャリアに懸濁されている異種骨材料粒子と結合しているコラーゲンのP−15ポリペプチド配列を含み、前記材料が、パテ様粘稠度を有していることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記骨量減少および修復が、前記骨パテを、抜歯窩の歯槽隆線上の欠損内に設置し、上顎洞底挙上欠損を矯正するか、またはインプラント裂開を修復することを含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- パテ中のPEPGEN P−15の濃度が少なくとも約800mg/ccであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の骨修復材料。
