Abstract
Description
a)メルトブローダイであって、(i)複数のフィラメント出口と、(ii)フィラメント出口の近くでダイを出る複数の細化流体出口と流体連通する複数の細化流体フローチャネルとを有するメルトブローダイと、
b)複数のチャネルと流体連通し、細化流体のための少なくとも1つの入口を有するマニホルドと、
c)マニホルド入口と対応する細化流体出口との間の細化流体分配通路と、を含むメルトブロー装置であって、チャネル内の細化流体温度をより均一にするために、ダイおよびマニホルドを組立てる際に通路の分配特徴を変えることができる、メルトブロー装置を提供する。
a)繊維形成材料を、(i)複数のフィラメント出口と、(ii)フィラメント出口の近くでダイを出る複数の細化流体出口と流体連通する複数の細化流体フローチャネルとを有するメルトブローダイを通して流す工程と、
b)細化流体を、複数のチャネルと流体連通する、マニホルドの少なくとも1つの入口を通して流す工程と、
c)チャネル内の細化流体温度をより均一にするために、ダイおよびマニホルドを組立てる際にマニホルド入口と対応する細化流体出口との間の細化流体分配通路の分配特徴を変える工程とを含む、繊維ウェブを形成する方法を提供する。
Claims (10)
- a)メルトブローダイであって、(i)複数のフィラメント出口と、(ii)前記フィラメント出口の近くで前記ダイを出る複数の細化流体出口と流体連通する複数の細化流体フローチャネルとを有するメルトブローダイと、
b)複数の前記チャネルと流体連通し、細化流体のための少なくとも1つの入口を有するマニホルドと、
c)マニホルド入口と対応する細化流体出口との間の細化流体分配通路と、を含むメルトブロー装置であって、前記チャネル内の細化流体温度をより均一にするために、前記ダイおよびマニホルドを組立てる際に前記通路の分配特徴を変えることができる、メルトブロー装置。 - 前記細化流体出口で実質的に等しい細化流体温度をもたらすように、前記分配特徴を変えることができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイが動作中の間、前記分配特徴を変えることができる、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイが幅を有し、前記マニホルドが中線を有し、前記マニホルドが、前記マニホルドの第1の細化流体入口と第2の細化流体入口との間に前記ダイ幅に沿って延在する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記通路が、前記ダイ幅に沿って延在する細長い流体開口部を含み、前記開口部を通る細化流体の体積流量が、前記入口に近接してよりも前記中線に近接して大きい、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイが幅を有し、前記マニホルドが、細化流体入口を有する第1の端部と閉じている第2の端部との間に前記ダイ幅に沿って延在する、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ダイが幅を有し、前記通路が、前記ダイ幅に沿って延在し、かつ、中にテーパ状スロットを備えた側壁を有する導管を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記スロットの幅を変えることによって、前記通路を通る細化流体の質量流量を変えることができる、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記細化流体が空気であり、20から100リットル/分/cm通路長さの体積空気流量を収容し、前記チャネル内の細化流体温度を、前記ダイの幅に沿って±5℃以内に維持するように、前記分配特徴を変えることができる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- a)繊維形成材料を、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の装置を通して流す工程と、
b)細化流体を、前記マニホルドの少なくとも1つの入口を通して流す工程と、
c)前記チャネル内の細化流体温度をより均一にするために、前記ダイおよびマニホルドを組立てる際に前記通路の分配特徴を変える工程とを含む、繊維ウェブを形成する方法。
