Claims (4)

  1. 第１の方向に偏光される光を拡散反射し、第２の方向に偏光される光を透過する拡散反射偏光子と、
    前記拡散反射偏光子の後側に隣接する第２の偏光子であり、前記第２の方向に偏光される光を透過するように向けられる前記第２の偏光子と、
    を具備する投影ディスプレイシステムのための投影スクリーン。
  2. 前記第２の偏光子は、前記第１の方向に偏光される光を反射する反射偏光子を具備する、請求項１に記載の投影スクリーン。
  3. 前記第２の偏光子は、前記第１の方向に偏光される光を吸収する吸収偏光子を具備する、請求項１に記載の投影スクリーン。
  4. 前記第１の方向が、実質的に前記第２の方向に垂直であり、そして該投影スクリーンが、前記第２の偏光子の光入射側に対応する投影スクリーンの後側から見たときに、実質的に光透過性であるように見え、前記拡散反射偏光子の光入射側に対応する投影スクリーンの前側から見たときに、実質的に拡散するように見える、請求項１に記載の投影スクリーン。
