Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 過給ピストン・エンジン(1)で窒素酸化物(NOx)排出を低減する方法において、燃焼用空気の圧力が過給装置(2)によって周囲圧力のレベルより高いレベルまで増加され、水が燃料噴射と共にエマルジョンと同じ噴射装置を用いて前記エンジンの燃焼スペース中に噴霧される方法であって、さらに、前記燃焼用空気の含水量(4,4’)が、前記エンジン燃焼スペース内に前記燃焼用空気を導く前に増加されることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記エンジンが動作している間、エンジンの動作状態(1.1、1.2、3.1、3.2)及び燃料供給システムの容量使用度の測定及び/又は決定に基づいて、前記水の供給要件及び供給位置(4、4’)が連続して決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料の量が、前記エンジンの負荷(1.2)に従って調節され、
前記燃料と共に供給される前記水の量が、最大で、前記燃料供給システムの最大容量に合致する供給量と、供給される燃料の量の差になるように調節され、
前記燃焼用空気(4、4’)に供給される前記水の量は、その量が所定の窒素酸化物排出レベルと、前記燃料と共に供給された前記水の量によって引き起こされる窒素酸化物排出レベルとの差を等しくする量に少なくとも対応するように調節されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - 燃料−水−エマルジョン(7)の前記水の量がほぼ一定に維持され、前記必要な全体の水の量は、前記燃焼用空気(4,4’)に供給される前記水の量を調整することによって調節されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼用空気に供給される前記水の量が、前記エンジンの負荷(1.2)に従って調整されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼用空気に供給される前記水の量が、前記燃焼用空気の圧力(3.2)に従って調整されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料−水−エマルジョンが、前記燃料の量の10%から55%の水を含み、前記燃焼用空気と共に供給される前記水の量が、供給される燃料の0.5から5倍の量であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼用空気の前記含水量が、前記燃焼用空気に液体の水を噴霧することによって増加されることを特徴とする請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼用空気の前記含水量が、前記燃焼用空気に水蒸気を噴霧することによって増加されることを特徴とする請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼用空気に供給される前記水の量が、空気の飽和に必要な理論上の前記水の量より多くなるように調節され、液体の水が空気を前記エンジンの燃焼スペースに導く前に前記燃焼用空気から分離されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- いくつかのシリンダと、燃焼用空気チャネル(3)を通して、前記各シリンダに流れ連結で配置されたターボ過給機(2)とを含むピストン・エンジン装置(1)であって、前記燃料−水−エマルジョン(7’)を供給するための装置を含み、さらに、前記燃料−水−エマルジョンを各シリンダに供給するための前記シリンダに連結するノズル(7)があり、ノズル装置(4,4’)が、燃焼用空気流方向の前記ターボ過給機の後に、前記燃焼用空気に前記水を導くための前記燃焼用空気チャネル(3)内に配置されることを特徴とするピストン・エンジン装置。
- 前記燃焼用空気チャネル(3)内に、前記エンジン(1)のシリンダに至る前に前記燃焼用空気から液体の水を分離するための少なくとも1つの液滴分離機(6)が配置されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のピストン・エンジン装置。
- 前記ノズル装置に連結された水予熱装置(1)を含み、前記液滴分離機(6)が前記水予熱装置(11)と流れ連結することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のピストン・エンジン装置。
- 前記ノズル装置(4,4’)が、独立に開閉することができる多数のノズルを含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のピストン・エンジン装置。
