Claims (14)
- 과급된 피스톤엔진(1) 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법에 있어서,연소공기의 압력이 과급기(2)에 의해 대기압력보다도 높은 레벨까지 증가되며, 같은 주입장치로 연료주입과 함께 물이 엔진의 연소공간에 에멀션으로서 분무되고, 추가적으로 연소공기를 엔진의 연소공간으로 공급하기 전에, 연소공기에 물을 공급함에 의해 연소공기의 물의 농도가 증가되며, 필요한 전체 물의 양은 연소공기에 공급된 물의 양을 조절함에 의해 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 엔진이 동작되는 동안, 물의 공급 조건과 공급위치의 양자가 엔진의 동작상태의 측정 및 결과와 연료공급시스템의 용량 사용의 정도에 기초하여 연속적으로 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,- 상기 연료의 양이 엔진의 로드에 따라 조절되는 단계와,- 연료와 함께 공급될 물의 양은 연료공급시스템의 최대용량에 일치하는 연료양과 공급될 연료양의 차가 최대가 되도록 조절되는 단계와,- 연소공기에 공급될 물의 양은, 그 양이 적어도, 정해진 질소산화물 방출레벨과, 연료와 함께 공급될 물의 양에 의한 질소산화물 방출레벨과의 차이를 일정하도록 조절하는 단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 연료-물-에멀션 중 연료에 대한 물의 양의 비율이 일정하게 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 연소공기에 공급될 물의 양이 엔진의 로드에 따라 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 연소공기에 공급될 물의 양은 연소공기압력에 따라 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 연료-물-에멀션은 연료양의 10% 내지 55%의 물을 함유하며, 연소공기와 함께 공급될 물의 양은 공급된 연료의 양의 0.5 ∼ 5배인 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 연소공기의 물의 농도는 연소공기에 액체상태의 물을 분사함에 의해 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 연소공기의 물의 농도가 연소공기에 수증기를 분사함에 의해 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 연소공기에 공급될 물의 양은 이론적으로 공기의 포화에 필요한 물의 양 보다 많도록 조절되며, 액체상태의 물은 공기가 엔진의 연소공간에 공급되기 전에 연소공기로부터 분리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 과급된 피스톤엔진 내의 질소산화물(NOX)을 감소시키는 방법.
- 복수의 실린더들과, 상기 실린더들의 각각과 플로우 연결된 연소공기채널(3)을 통하여 배치된 과급기(2)와, 연료-물-에멀션을 공급하는 장치(7') 및 각 실린더에 연료-물-에멀션을 공급하기 위하여 실린더와 연결된 노즐(7)들로 구성된 피스톤엔진장치(1)로서,상기 피스톤엔진장치는, 연소공기의 흐름방향으로 상기 과급기에 뒤이어 물을 연소공기에 공급하기 위한 연소공기채널(3)에 배치된, 독립적으로 개폐될 수 있는 복수개의 노즐을 구비한 노즐장치(4)를 더 포함하여 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 피스톤엔진장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 엔진(1)의 실린더로 연소공기를 공급하기 전에 연소공기로부터 액체상태의 물을 분리하기 위한 적어도 하나의 물방울분리기(6)가 연소공기채널(3)에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 피스톤엔진장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 노즐장치에 연결된 물 시스템(11)을 포함하여 구성되며, 물방울분리기(6)가 물 시스템(11)과 통하도록 연결된 것을 특징으로 하는 피스톤엔진장치.
