約１５５０ｎｍの波長で約６０μｍ2よりも小の実効面積と、約１５５０ｎｍの波長で約４ｐｓ／ｎｍ／ｋｍから約１０ｐｓ／ｎｍ／ｋｍの間の分散と、約１５５０ｎｍの波長で０．０４５ｐｓ／ｎｍ2／ｋｍよりも小の分散スロープと、及び、約１２６０ｎｍよりも小のケーブルカットオフ波長と、を有することを特徴とする光導波路ファイバ。 - 約１３８３ｎｍの波長での減衰が約０．６ｄＢ／ｋｍよりも小であることを特徴とする請求項１記載の光導波路ファイバ。
- 前記外側環状クラッド領域が前記第２環状領域に隣接し且つこれを包囲することを特徴とする請求項１又は２に記載の光導波路ファイバ。
- 前記第２環状領域に隣接し且つこれを包囲し、前記第２環状領域と前記外側環状クラッド領域との間に配置され、最小屈折率パーセント（Δ4,MIN）を持つ負の相対屈折率パーセント（Δ4％（ｒ））を有する第３環状領域を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項１乃至３のいずれかに記載の光導波路ファイバ。
- 前記第３環状領域が約１．５μｍから約７μｍの間の幅と、約１１μｍから約１８μｍの間の中間点と、を有することを特徴とする請求項４記載の光導波路ファイバ。
