Claims (15)

  1. 活性型のSTAT3を含む修飾幹細胞。
  2. 修飾されていない親細胞の多能性を維持しながら、生体外(培養)(in vitro)における増殖能力が向上した請求項1の修飾幹細胞。
  3. 幹細胞が造血幹細胞である請求項1又は2の修飾幹細胞。
  4. 幹細胞が造血細胞のみならず、非造血細胞にも分化することができる多能性を有する幹細胞である請求項1〜3の何れか一の修飾幹細胞。
  5. 以下の何れか一から選ばれる請求項1〜4の何れか一の修飾幹細胞:
    1)哺乳類幹細胞、
    2)ヒト幹細胞、又は
    3)臍帯血から採取される幹細胞。
  6. STAT3がSTAT3-Cである請求項1〜5の何れか一の修飾幹細胞。
  7. 構成的に活性化されたSTAT3であるタンパク質生成物がタンパク質導入により細胞内に送達される請求項1〜5の何れか一の修飾幹細胞。
  8. 活性化されたSTAT3遺伝子を細胞内に形質導入することを含む請求項1〜6の何れか一の修飾幹細胞を作製する方法。
  9. STAT3を細胞内に送達することを含む請求項1〜7の何れか一の修飾幹細胞を作製する方法。
  10. 請求項1〜7の何れか一の修飾幹細胞を増殖させることを含む幹細胞集団を増大させる方法。
  11. 細胞集団が以下の何れか一から選ばれる請求項10の方法:
    1)細胞集団が生体外(ex vivo)である、
    2)細胞集団が生体内(in vivo)である、
    3)細胞集団が生体外(培養)(in vitro)である。
  12. 幹細胞をSTAT3の活性を増強させる化学物質と接触させることを含む請求項10又は11の方法。
  13. 化学物質がSTAT3を二量化させる化合物である請求項12の方法。
  14. 活性化されたSTAT3を発現する細胞を幹細胞集団と共培養することを含む請求項10〜13の何れか一の方法。
  15. 請求項1〜7の何れか一の修飾幹細胞を必要とする対象に、該細胞を投与することを含む、該細胞の以下の何れか一から選ばれる用途:
    1)対象における移植後の生着を速める、
    2)対象において組織を再生する、
    3)骨髄細胞を損失した患者の骨髄を回復させる。
