Abstract
【解決手段】移動ノードによって外部エージェントへ送信された登録要求の数を減少する方法及び装置が開示される。登録寿命の満了前に、予め定めた回数、再登録要求を常に送信するのではなく、以前に成功した登録によって境界を定められた時間周期後にデータ転送が起きた場合にのみ、再登録要求が送信される(340)。

Claims (5)
- 訪問したネットワーク内で動作している移動ノードを登録する装置であって、
メモリ要素と、プロセッサとを備え、
前記プロセッサは、前記メモリ要素に格納された1セットの命令を実行するように構成されており、前記1セットの命令は、
前記訪問したネットワーク内の外部エージェントへの初期登録を実行し、
IPパケットが予め定めた時間期間内に転送された場合には、標準プロトコルに従い、
IPパケットが前記予め定めた時間期間内に転送されない場合には、前記標準プロトコルに反対することである前記外部エージェントへの再登録の実行をやめ、
IPパケットが前記予め定めた時間期間を満了した後であって登録寿命を満了する前に転送された場合には、再登録要求を送信する装置。 - 移動ノードを外部エージェントに再登録する装置であって、
メモリ要素と、プロセッサとを備え、
前記プロセッサは、前記メモリ要素に格納された1セットの命令を実行するように構成されており、前記1セットの命令は、
登録寿命が設定された外部エージェントへの登録を実行し、
前記登録寿命よりも短い予め定めた期間が満了し、前記移動ノードにおいてどのパケットも送受信されない場合には、再登録の実行をやめ、
登録の成功後で前記登録寿命の満了前にパケットが送信または受信された場合にのみ再登録を実行する装置。 - 訪問したネットワーク内で動作している移動ノードを登録する装置であって、
前記訪問したネットワークにおける外部エージェントに、前記移動ノードの初期登録および次の再登録を実行する登録手段と、
前記登録手段とともに使用されるタイミング手段とを備え、
前記登録手段は、標準プロトコルに従うか、または前記移動ノードの再登録をやめることである前記標準プロトコルをディスリガードするかを判定するために、前記タイミング手段を使用する装置。 - 移動ノードを外部エージェントに再登録する方法であって、
前記訪問したネットワーク内における外部エージェントへの初期登録を実行することと、
予め定めた時間期間内に前記移動ノードと前記外部エージェントとの間でIPパケットが転送された場合には、標準プロトコルに従うことと、
前記予め定めた時間期間内にIPパケットが転送されない場合には、前記標準プロトコルに反対することである前記外部エージェントへの再登録を行うことをやめることと、
前記予め定めた時間期間後であって登録寿命の満了前にIPパケットが転送れた場合には、再登録要求を送信することと
を備えた方法。 - 移動中の移動ノードからの登録要求のインパクトを最小化する方法であって、
寿命が設定されている外部エージェントへの初期登録を実行することと、
前記登録寿命よりも短い予め定めた期間が満了になり、送信または受信されたパケットがない場合には、再登録を実行することをやめることと、
前記予め定めた期間の満了後で前記登録寿命の満了前にパケットが送信または受信された場合にのみ再登録を実行することと
を備えた方法。
