Abstract
【解決手段】高圧ポンプシステムによって燃料が供給される燃料貯蔵器を備え、この燃料貯蔵器から燃料が制御弁を有する流出管を介して個々のシリンダに導入される、複数のシリンダを有する内燃機関の燃料供給装置において、全てのシリンダ(例えば、12〜14)に共通の燃料貯蔵器(1)に、高圧状態の燃料を導入する少なくとも2本の流入管(2,3)を連通させる。

Claims (5)
- 高圧ポンプシステムによって燃料を供給される燃料貯蔵器を備え、この燃料貯蔵器から燃料が制御弁を有する流出管を介して個々のシリンダに導入される、複数のシリンダを有する内燃機関の燃料供給装置において、全てのシリンダ(例えば12〜14)に共通の燃料貯蔵器(1)に、高圧状態の燃料を導入する少なくとも2本の流入管(2,3)が連通していることを特徴とする燃料供給装置。
- 各流入管(2,3)が固有の高圧ポンプ(4,5)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料供給装置。
- 流入管(2,3)の出口(例えば20,21)間に複数の流出管(例えば10,11)の入口(例えば18,19)が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の燃料供給装置。
- 全ての流入管(例えば2)の出口(例えば20)とその流入管(例えば2)に隣接する流出管(例えば9,10)の入口(例えば22,18)との間の相互間隔(b)および、流入管(例えば2)を挟んで隣接する流出管(例えば9,10)の入口(例えば22,18)の間の相互間隔(b+b=2b)を除いた全ての流出管(例えば10,11)の入口(例えば18,19)の間の相互間隔(a)は燃料貯蔵器(1)の長手方向に見て等しいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の1つに記載の燃料供給装置。
- 最外側の流出管(9)の入口(22)と燃料貯蔵器(1)の端部領域(23)との間の間隔は、全ての流入管(例えば2)の出口(例えば20)とその流入管(例えば2)に隣接する流出管(例えば9,10)の入口(例えば22,18)との間の相互間隔(b)および全ての流出管(例えば10,11)の入口(例えば18,19)の間の相互間隔(a)より小さく選定されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の1つに記載の燃料供給装置。
