Description

The present invention provides a water faucet in which a branching portion can be easily disposed in a resin pipe or an iron pipe such as a water supply pipe or a water pipe or a resin or concrete-covered pipe disposed in a home, etc. The present invention relates to a faucet attachment method.

Normally, when branching a branch pipe to a main pipe such as a water pipe or a gas pipe, a perforated part is formed in the water pipe and a water faucet connected to the branch pipe is provided in the perforated part. Branch. A gasket is attached between the perforated portion of the water pipe and the mounting surface of the water faucet so as to achieve a sealing property between the water faucet and the perforated portion.
For example, the following is known in connection with such a water faucet.
In Patent Document 1, a thin hollow cylindrical metal fitting having an upper and lower end opening in which a lower end portion is formed as an enlarged diameter portion and an outward annular convex portion is formed on the upper end portion side, and an outer periphery of the lower end portion of the cylindrical fitting A rubber ring fitted to and attached to the outer periphery of the cylindrical ring and a cylindrical mounting nut fitted to and attached to the outer periphery of the cylindrical bracket below the outward annular convex portion formed on the cylindrical bracket above the rubber ring And an annular water stop member that is attached to the inner peripheral surface of the lower end portion of the branch pipe (plug body) screwed to the inner peripheral surface of the mounting nut and that contacts the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical fitting to control water stop. A water faucet equipped with an O-ring or the like is described.

In Patent Document 2, a saddle water faucet equipped with a saddle is attached to the outer surface of a resin pipe through a gasket, and a branch hole is formed by a punching tool at the mounting position of the resin pipe, and an insert core is screwed into the branch hole. In this way, the gasket is made to function by preventing the resin tube from being deformed inward due to the surface pressure of the gasket mounted in the groove on the mounting surface of the saddle or the residual stress of the resin tube itself. ing.

However, the conventional techniques have the following problems.
In the water faucet described in Patent Document 1, if the water faucet once attached is removed for some reason and is to be attached again, if the piping part is made of resin, the vicinity of the mounting hole of the piping part is greatly deformed at the time of removal. As a result, it may be difficult or impossible to reinstall.
In the saddle water faucet described in Patent Document 2, if the pipe part is a metal pipe such as a cast iron pipe or a steel pipe, the sealing performance of the saddle mounting surface is maintained by the gasket, but the pipe part is chlorinated. In the case of resin piping such as vinyl, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc., if the saddle is used with bolts and nuts tightened, the resin pipe will deteriorate and deform, and the sealing performance of the gasket will deteriorate, and the saddle will receive a large external force. Therefore, there is a problem that the resin pipe may be displaced, and water leakage from this portion is likely to occur. Furthermore, since processing accuracy is required for the water faucet that contacts the resin pipe and the joint and saddle, there is a problem that processing costs and material costs are bulky and lacking in economic efficiency.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described conventional problems, and provides a water faucet excellent in durability and sealing performance at a water faucet mounting portion, and does not require a high degree of processing accuracy and is rigid.
Subsequently, a method for attaching a water faucet for installing the water faucet 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above in the pipe part T will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIGS. 6-10 is explanatory drawing of the procedure (1) -procedure (21) in the attachment method of the water faucet which attaches a water faucet to piping parts, such as a water pipe.

First, in the attachment preparation process shown in the procedure (1) of FIG. 6, the pipe support member 14 is disposed at a predetermined position of the pipe portion T. At this time, projections, recesses, grooves and the like (not shown) are provided at predetermined positions of the pipe portion T. The pipe support surface of the pipe support member 14 formed with a positioning locking portion (not shown) such as a positioning hole or a positioning protrusion that fits into the projection or groove can be fitted and reliably positioned at a predetermined position. The workability of the water faucet installation is improved.

In the next procedure (2), the piercing machine having a drill for drilling and the magnifying machine for expanding the diameter of the tip of the magnifying metal pipe are exchanged and attached so as to cover the outer surface of the pipe support member 14. In addition, a gate valve device (water faucet mounting device) 20 having a water stop gate for sealing the opening after drilling is arranged, and the chain 21 and a band are wrapped around the gate valve device and fixed. The curved sealing surface at the bottom is crimped onto the pipe support member 14.
The mounting preparation process is completed by the above procedure (1) and procedure (2).
In addition, 22 is a gate handle for opening and closing the water stop gate, 23 is a water faucet opening / closing lever, and 24 is a drain valve for discharging water flowing out from the pipe T into the gate valve 20 through the hose 25. .
The following five points should be noted in the above procedure (2).
(1) Thoroughly clean the contact portion between the piping portion T and the gate valve device 20 or the piping support member 14. (2) A pipe support member 14 suitable for the pipe diameter of the pipe part T is attached in advance so as not to cause water leakage. (3) Check the operating state of the gate handle 22, the faucet opening / closing lever 23, and the drain valve 24 and leave them all open. (4) Check that there is no deformation in the slot at the tip of the water faucet opening / closing lever 23. (5) Tighten the chain 21 evenly around the piping part T.

In the procedure (3), the drilling machine 26 is arranged on the gate valve 20 and the drill 27 is attached in advance. At this time, in order not to damage the water stop gate, the open state of the gate valve 20 is confirmed by the gate opening / closing window 28 provided in the gate valve device 20, and the open state of the drain valve and the operation of the leakage breaker are confirmed. In the following procedures, a part of the mounting state of the chain 21 and the like is omitted and displayed.

In step (4), the drill 27 is lowered to the outer surface of the pipe support member 14, the power switch is turned on, and the feed handle 28 is rotated to pierce the pipe portion T from above the pipe support member 14 while lowering the tip of the drill 27. .
At this time, in order not to make a hole in the water stop gate, the feed handle 28 is turned and the tip of the drill 27 is applied to the outer surface of the pipe portion T, and then the switch is turned on.
Further, when water comes out from the hose 25 connected to the drain valve 24 as the drilling operation proceeds, the rotation speed of the feed handle 28 is decreased. If the rotational speed is made higher than the predetermined speed, it is not preferable because mortar covered with the pipe part T is peeled off or burrs are easily formed on the coating layer of the pipe part T.

In step (5), the tip of the drill 27 is further lowered to chamfer the surface of the opened hole using a chamfering blade or the like. At this time, the burr is removed by slightly touching the cutting edge portion of the surface 27 of the drill 27.

In procedure (6), the drill 27 is pulled up and the drain valve 24 is closed. At this time, chips such as chips are completely discharged by the water flow accompanying the sudden opening and closing of the drain valve 24.

In the next procedure (7), the water stop gate of the gate valve device 20 is closed by operating the gate handle 22, and then the drilling machine 26 is removed from the gate valve device 20 as shown in procedure (8).

In this way, the drilling process of the procedure 3 to the procedure 8 is completed, and the preparation for moving to the subsequent diameter expansion process of the procedure 9 to the procedure 21 is completed.
Other matters to be noted in the above drilling process are as follows.
(1) If the surface of the water pipe is rough and a large amount of water is likely to leak from the gap with the pipe support member 14 that becomes the seal surface of the gate valve device 20, the seal is strengthened with liquid packing or the like. Alternatively, the surface should be smoothed with a file. (2) When machining a color tube that does not flow, remove any chips and burrs that remain on the machined surface. (3) Since the cutting edge of the drill 27 is easily damaged in the mortar-coated tube and the mortar tube, and the damaged drill 27 is likely to have burrs on the painted tube and the like, it is desirable to use a dedicated mortar tube and painted tube drill.

The procedure (9) shown in FIG. 8 is a step of performing an initial setting of the diameter expanding process. Here, the upper limit of the lifting handle 30 of the diameter expanding machine 29, the lower limit of the spindle handle 31, and the like are set. Further, after cleaning the rack gear 32 and confirming that there is no looseness when the hook for rolling the diameter-enlarged metal tube 12 of the water faucet body 11 attached to the tip of the rack gear 32 is fixed, the hook 35 which is a pressing portion is used. Storing. In addition, in order to regulate the position of the hook 35 rotated in the circumferential direction in a stepwise manner, the ratchet knob 33 for adjusting a ratchet (not shown) built in the diameter expander 29 is turned so that the handle can be operated. Keep it.
Next, the seal packing member 13 is mounted on the diameter expanding metal tube 12 of the water faucet body 11 and assembled in the diameter expanding machine 29.
Here, the rotation state of the opening / closing cock 11d of the water faucet body 11 is confirmed, and the seal packing member 13 and the end surface of the main shaft are aligned. Furthermore, a lubricant can be applied to the mounting portion or the like as required.

In the procedure (10) shown in FIG. 8, the diameter expander 29 is attached to the gate valve device 20 with the water stop gate closed.
At this time, it is confirmed in advance that the water faucet opening / closing lever 23 is in the horizontal position (open position).

In step (11), the water stop gate of the gate valve device 20 is opened by rotating the gate handle 22. At this time, the open / close state of the water stop gate can be confirmed from the gate opening / closing window provided in the gate valve device 20.

In step (12), the position of the diameter expanding machine 29 is lowered by pushing down the lifting handle 30. The lifting handle 30 is turned strongly until it stops.

In step (13), the lock knob 34 is turned to project the hook (pressing portion) 35.
The lock knob 34 is turned firmly until it stops, and the hook 35 is firmly fixed. Check the operation of the earth leakage breaker.

In step (14), the spindle handle 31 is operated to raise the spindle, and the hook 35 is brought into close contact with the end of the expanded metal pipe 12.
Thus, the green lamp is turned on when the spindle rises to the range where diameter expansion is possible.

In step (15), a ratchet is inserted and automatic operation is started. Here, it stops automatically in about 3 minutes and the green lamp goes off.
When the red line R below the spindle handle 31 is not hidden and automatically stops, it is determined that the state is normal.

In step (16), the ratchet is removed, the inching switch is operated to lower the spindle, and the spindle handle 31 is further lowered to the lowest position.
Be sure to remove the ratchet when pressing the inching switch.
Press the jog switch for a moment.

In step (17), the lock knob 34 is turned to house the hook 35 in the main body.

In step (18), the lifting handle 30 is turned to pull up the diameter expander 29.

In step (19), an operation of closing the opening / closing cock 11d of the water faucet body 11 using the water faucet opening / closing lever 23 is performed.

In the procedure (20), the diameter expander 29 and the gate valve device 20 are removed from the pipe part T, and the water faucet body 11 is rotated in a predetermined direction to fix the position of the branch pipe connection part 11c.

In step (21), the cap portion 11a is attached to the upper end of the water passage hole 11b of the water faucet body 11 to complete the attachment of the water faucet 10.
In addition, it determines with it being favorable if the attachment state of the water faucet 10 in the above diameter expansion processes satisfies the following three terms.
(1) The red line R of the main shaft disappeared and stopped automatically. (2) The water faucet 10 is not greatly inclined with respect to the pipe part T. (3) Even if the water faucet 10 is shaken, it does not shake.

As described above, the water faucet attachment method in the present embodiment is
Since the pipe support member is fixedly disposed at the water faucet attachment position of the pipe portion and the seal surface of the gate valve device 20 having the water stop gate is crimped to the pipe support member 14 and positioned, When installing the water faucet 10 on resin piping such as vinyl chloride, the rigidity of the water faucet mounting portion is increased and the attachment is made by interposing a pipe support member having a high strength to the mounting portion. Work such as positioning and drilling work can be performed efficiently.
Further, a perforation step of perforating the pipe support member 14 and the pipe portion T to form a diameter-enlarged metal tube insertion hole, and a lower end periphery of the diameter-expanded metal tube 12 being curled while rotating the pressing portion of the diameter expander 29 Since it has a diameter expanding step that is caulked and fixed by spreading, it does not require a high degree of processing accuracy to attach the water faucet 10, and can be widely applied to thin metal pipes and soft resin pipes. Moreover, the attachment process to the piping part T can be performed efficiently.
Further, when the pipe portion T is made of vinyl chloride or the like, the pipe support member 14 is pressed by the water stop gate portion of the gate valve device 20 when the water faucet 10 attached to the pipe portion T is pulled out for some reason. Accordingly, the excavation around the portion to be perforated can be suppressed, and the replacement work or the installation work of the water faucet 10 can be easily performed.

The present invention provides a water faucet in which a branch pipe can be easily disposed in a resin pipe or an iron pipe such as a water supply pipe or a water pipe, or a resin or concrete-covered pipe, etc. Applicable to the field of faucet attachment methods. This provides a water faucet with excellent durability and sealability at the water faucet mounting part, and versatility that can be widely applied to metal piping and resin piping without requiring high processing accuracy. Thus, it is possible to provide a water faucet attachment method that can efficiently perform the attachment step and is excellent in workability and economy.
