Abstract
【解決手段】排気管11の途中に装備された触媒再生型のパティキュレートフィルタ12と、これより上流側で排気ガス9を所定温度以上に昇温する排気昇温手段(燃料噴射装置18)と、アイドリング状態の継続が所要の待機時間以上続いた時に前記排気昇温手段を作動せしめる制御装置15とを備えた排気浄化装置に関し、パティキュレートフィルタ12の触媒床温度を推定する温度推定手段(温度センサ14)を備え、前記排気昇温手段の作動後に前記温度推定手段の推定温度(検出温度)に基づき温度帯ごとに設定されている単位時間当たりの炭化水素処理量を時々刻々積算し且つその積算値が目標値以上となった時に前記排気昇温手段の作動完了を判定するように前記制御装置15を構成する。

Claims (4)
- 排気管の途中に装備された触媒再生型のパティキュレートフィルタと、該パティキュレートフィルタより上流側で排気ガスを所定温度以上に昇温する排気昇温手段と、アイドリング状態の継続が所要の待機時間以上続いた時に前記排気昇温手段を作動せしめる制御装置とを備えた排気浄化装置であって、パティキュレートフィルタの触媒床温度を推定する温度推定手段を備え、前記排気昇温手段の作動後に前記温度推定手段の推定温度に基づき温度帯ごとに設定されている単位時間当たりの炭化水素処理量を時々刻々積算し且つその積算値が目標値以上となった時に前記排気昇温手段の作動完了を判定するように前記制御装置を構成したことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
- パティキュレートフィルタの触媒床温度の代用値として排気温度を計測する温度センサを温度推定手段として採用したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- エンジンの各気筒に対し燃料を噴射する燃料噴射装置を排気昇温手段として採用し、該燃料噴射装置に対し通常のアイドリング時より回転数を上げるべくメイン噴射の一回当たりの噴射量を増加し且つ該メイン噴射直後の燃焼可能なタイミングでアフタ噴射を追加する燃料噴射指令が昇温制御指令として制御装置から出力されるように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 排気流量を適宜に絞り込む排気絞り手段を排気昇温手段として併用したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の排気浄化装置。
