Abstract
【解決手段】少なくとも表面がモリブデン金属又はモリブデン合金からなる基体と、基体の表面に形成されたアルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属を成分として含有する酸化モリブデンの被膜とを備えた構成とした。これにより、基体に従来よりも高く負に帯電した酸化物表面を与えることができ、早期に体液中のカルシウム・イオンを吸着し、アパタイト被膜を形成することが可能となる。また、チタンやタンタルに比べ靭性が大きく、加工も容易であるため、機械的強度を高めることができる。さらに、比重がタンタルの約3/5であり、股関節や大腿骨など、大きい骨欠損部を修復する材料として使用することが可能である。

また、本発明の骨代替材料の製造方法によれば、早期にアパタイト被膜を形成して、骨組織と一体化する作用を有する優れた骨代替材料の製造が可能となる。
Claims (5)
- 少なくとも表面がモリブデン金属又はモリブデンを主成分とする合金からなる基体と、前記基体の表面に形成されたアルカリ金属を成分として含有する酸化モリブデンの被膜と、を備えていることを特徴とする骨代替材料。
- 前記被膜は、モリブデン酸ナトリウム、モリブデン酸カリウム、又はモリブデン酸カルシウムを含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の骨代替材料。
- 少なくとも表面がモリブデン金属又はモリブデンを主成分とする合金からなる基体をアルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属のイオンを含有するアルカリ水溶液で処理し、前記基体表面に被膜を形成することを特徴とする骨代替材料の製造方法。
- 前記基体を前記アルカリ水溶液に浸漬した後、カルシウム・イオンを含有する水溶液に浸漬することにより前記基体表面に被膜を形成することを特徴とする請求項3記載の骨代替材料の製造方法。
- 前記基体を前記アルカリ水溶液又は前記カルシウム・イオンを含有する水溶液に浸漬した後、前記基体を加熱処理をすることにより前記基体表面の被膜を硬化させることを特徴とする請求項3又は4記載の骨代替材料の製造方法。
