Abstract
【解決手段】冷却によって固化し加熱によって気化又は液化する埋包材(1b)中に埋包処理された多数の長単繊維群を平行に引き揃えて束ねた繊維束(1a)からなる被切削材(1)を複数個準備し、繊維の長さ方向に対して垂直な切削端面(F)を形成した前記被切削材(1)群を前記切断面(F)が水平となるように固定し、少なくとも一つの切削刃(4)によって前記切削端面(F)を平削りし、平削りした被切削材(1)から前記埋包材(1b)を除去して0.005〜1.0mmの繊維長を有する極短繊維を得る極短繊維の製造方法である。

Claims (6)
- 冷却によって固化し加熱によって気化又は液化する埋包材中に埋包処理された多数の長単繊維群を平行に引き揃えて束ねた繊維束からなる被切削材を複数個準備し、繊維の長さ方向に対して垂直な切削端面を形成した前記被切削材群を前記切断面が水平となるように固定し、少なくとも一つの切削刃によって前記切削端面を平削りし、平削りした被切削材から前記埋包材を除去して0.005〜1.0mmの繊維長を有する極短繊維を得る極短繊維の製造方法。
- 前記被切削材が互いに分離した状態で並列配列されて固定されている、請求項1に記載の極短繊維の製造方法。
- 前記被切削剤が前記多数の長単繊維群を平行に引き揃えて束ねた前記繊維束を稠密な状態で並列させて立設した状態で前記埋包材により一体に埋包処理されている、請求項2に記載の極短繊維の製造方法。
- 前記繊維束の一本の総繊度が1万〜1000万dtexである、請求項項1に記載の極短繊維の製造方法。
- 前記埋包材が、ドライアイス、氷、パラフィン、及び溶融温度が10〜120℃の熱可塑性樹脂からなる材料群中から選ばれる少なくとも一つの材である請求項1に記載の極短繊維の製造方法。
- 前記短繊維の繊維長が0.005〜0.1mmである、請求項1に記載の極短繊維の製造方法。
