Claims (18)
- 医療装置上に拡散制御性コーティングを形成する方法であって、
医療装置に
(1)一つの粘土層を塗布する、又は
(2)第一の高分子イオン材料の層と、第一の高分子イオン材料の電荷とは反対の電荷を有する第二の高分子イオン材料の層とを交互に塗布し、
コーティングされた医療装置を、医療装置上の拡散制御性コーティングに所望の透過性を付与することができる組成を有する放出媒体中に放出すること
を含む方法。 - 一つの粘土層を塗布することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 粘土がモンモリロナイトである、請求項2記載の方法。
- 一以上の高分子イオン材料の層を塗布することをさらに含む、請求項2又は3記載の方法。
- 第一の高分子イオン材料の層と、第一の高分子イオン材料の電荷とは反対の電荷を有する第二の高分子イオン材料の層とを交互に医療装置に塗布し、コーティングされた医療装置を、医療装置上の拡散制御性コーティングに所望の透過性を付与することができる組成を有する放出媒体中に放出することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記医療装置を第一の高分子イオン材料の第一の溶液に浸漬する又は前記医療装置に第一の高分子イオン材料の第二の溶液を吹き付けることによって第一の高分子イオン材料の層を医療装置に塗布し、前記医療装置を第二の高分子イオン材料の第一の溶液に浸漬する又は前記医療装置に第二の高分子イオン材料の第二の溶液を吹き付けることによって第二の高分子イオン材料の層を医療装置に塗布する、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記第一の高分子イオン材料が、比較的低い分子量を有する弱い多酸であり、第一の高分子イオン材料の第一及び第二の溶液が1.5〜8.5のpHを有し、前記第二の高分子イオン材料が、比較的低い分子量を有する弱い多塩基であり、第二の高分子イオン材料の第一及び第二の溶液が1.5〜8.5のpHを有する、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記放出媒体が水又はリン酸緩衝剤である、請求項5〜7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 第一の高分子イオン材料及び第二の高分子イオン材料をモル電荷比が3:1〜100:1になるような量で含有する溶液に前記医療装置を浸漬することにより、第一及び第二の高分子イオン材料の層を形成する、請求項5〜8のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記溶液の前記モル電荷比が10:1である、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記医療装置が眼科用装置、特にコンタクトレンズである、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 拡散制御性コーティングを有する医療装置であって、前記拡散制御性コーティングが、請求項2記載の方法を使用して前記医療装置上に形成されたものである医療装置。
- 拡散制御性コーティングを有する医療装置であって、前記拡散制御性コーティングが、請求項6記載の方法を使用して前記医療装置上に形成されたものである医療装置。
- 前記拡散制御性コーティングが第一及び第二の高分子イオン材料それぞれ2〜10層を含む、請求項13記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡散制御性コーティングが稠密であり、低い透過性を有し、前記低い透過性が、前記医療装置によるローズベンガルの無視しうる程度の吸収を示すことを特徴とする、請求項13記載の医療装置。
- 前記拡散制御性コーティングが緩く、高い透過性を有し、前記高い透過性が、前記医療装置によるローズベンガルの顕著な吸収を示すことを特徴とする、請求項13記載の医療装置。
- 前記医療装置が眼科用レンズ、特にコンタクトレンズである、請求項12〜16のいずれか1項記載の医療装置。
- 抽出工程なしで眼科用レンズを製造する方法であって、
(1)型の中での成形によって眼科用レンズを製造することと、
(2)工程(1)で製造した眼科用レンズの上に、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項記載の方法によって拡散制御性コーティングを形成することと
を含む方法。
