Abstract

Claims (10)
- ロータ(12)と前記ロータを囲む格納シェル(22)とを含むロータ本体組立体であって、前記格納シェルが、風損を減少させるための複数の表面変形部(30、36、38又は52)を備えた外周表面(28)を有する、ロータ本体組立体。
- 前記複数の表面変形部が、前記格納シェルに沿って軸方向に間隔をおいて配置した複数の環状溝(30)を含む、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- 前記複数の表面変形部が、前記格納シェルの周りで周方向に間隔をおいて配置した複数の軸方向溝(36)を含む、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- 環状溝(30)は形状が凹形である、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- 環状溝(38)が各々、平坦なテーパ側面と平坦な底面とを有する、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- 前記外周表面(28)が正弦波形状を有する、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- 前記外周表面(28)が風損をさらに減少させるために研磨されている、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- 前記ロータが超伝導ロータである、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- ロータ(12)と前記ロータを囲むステータ(14)と前記ステータ内で回転するように前記ロータを支持するための支持システムとを含む発電機(10)であって、前記ロータが界磁巻線(20)と外側格納シェル(22)とを備え、前記外側格納シェル(22)が複数の表面変形部(30、36、38又は52)を備えた外周表面を有する、発電機。
- 前記複数の表面変形部が、前記格納シェルに沿って軸方向に間隔をおいて配置した複数の環状溝(30)を含む、請求項9記載の発電機。
