稲、茶、果樹など栽培作物に飛来する鱗支目、その他の飛翔性害虫を捕捉するために誘蛾灯または性フェロモン(以下フェロモンという)など誘引剤を用いたものなどがある。

例えば、特許文献1(特開2000−60403号)のものは、円筒状の捕虫器本体内にフェロモン剤を背面に塗布したロートの下部に近接させてルーフ状の邪魔板を設け、その背面に弱い光源を取り付けて害虫を底部へ落とし込む捕虫器を提案している。然しながらこの光源は外部に漏洩しないが上部に飛来したときに害虫の目に入る程度のものであって周辺の害虫を引き寄せるためのものでは無い。

また特許文献2(実公昭64−768号)のものは、下部が大径となる錐形部材の内側に誘引剤を設け、錘形部材の下部に捕虫容器を設けて誘引剤につられて飛来する害虫が錘形部材の傾斜面に当たり下方に滑り落ちるようにしたものである。また特許文献3(実開昭62−149970号)のものは、特許文献2とほぼ同様のものであるが錘形部材の上部を大径にしたこと、さらに特許文献4(特開平5−76264号)のものは錘形部材の傾斜角を45℃以上とした点が異なる。然しながらいずれも光による害虫の誘引は何ら考慮されていない。

本発明は、誘蛾灯と性フォルモンなど誘引剤を併用し、特に害虫が活発に飛び回る夜間における捕獲効率を上げることを目的とする。

本発明の害虫捕獲器は、請求項1記載のように水を張った捕獲容器1の中央に立設したパイプ2に誘蛾灯3を設け、該誘蛾灯3を透明な円錐型カバー4を上向きにして覆うと共に、該円錐型カバー4に被せる傘型カバー5の頂部に誘引剤6を設けたことを第1の特徴とする。

そして請求項2記載のように、前記円錐型カバー4と傘型カバー5の接合部に複数個の通気穴8を設けて害虫の誘引ガスを外部に放出するようにしたことを第2の特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に本発明の実施の形態を図面によって説明する。図1は本装置の斜視図を示し、図2は図1の中央縦断面図である。

本発明の害虫捕獲器は、図1及び図2に示すように、水を張った捕獲容器1の中央に立設したパイプ2の頂部に誘蛾灯3を設置し、該誘蛾灯3を大径部が上を向くよう45度以上傾斜させた透明な円錐型カバー4で覆うと共に、該円錐型カバー4に被せる不透明な傘型カバー5の内方頂部に誘引剤6を設けたものである。そしてこの誘引剤から発する害虫の誘引ガスは、円錐型カバー4と傘型カバー5の接合部に複数個設けた通気穴8から外部に放出するようにした。そして前記誘蛾灯3を夜間のみ点灯するよう薄暮検知センサー7でON/OFFするようにした。またこの害虫捕獲器は何処へでも設置できるように電源プラグ9による電源接続、またはバッテリー、太陽電池などを用いることもできる。尚、誘引剤6はカートリッジ式になっており傘型カバーの頂部に外側から着脱できるようになっている。

このように構成したから夜間は誘蛾灯の明るい光が透明な円錐型カバー4を透過して周方向に漏洩するため遠方の害虫も誘引することが出来る。そして近づくと気化されたフェロモンが円錐型カバー4と傘型カバー5の接合部の通気穴8から放出され、円錐型カバー4の傾斜面に沿って流れるので害虫を逃すことがない。そして害虫は傾斜面に着地しても傾斜面は45度以上あるので直ぐ落下して水を張った捕獲容器中に落ち確実に捕獲することが出来る。また昼間は誘蛾灯は点灯しないが気化されたフェロモンが常時接合部の通気穴8から放出されるので害虫を引き寄せることが出来る。

【発明の効果】
本発明の害虫捕獲器は上述のようにコンパクトに構成したから必要な場所に簡単に移動が出来る。また誘蛾灯をめがけて透明な円錐型カバー4に向かってくる蛾など害虫は、その上方の通気穴8から放出するフェロモンに引き寄せられ円錐型カバー4面に着地しても45度以上の傾斜があるため直ちに下方の水を張った容器内に落下して確実に捕獲することが出来る。
